    How long does it take to be picked from the pool? I've been in the pool for a few months now, is there a specific time limit before you have to re-submit?

    Can you only create a profile once the IEC pool is open?

    The link in the description where you see if you're eligible isn't working. How can you find if you're eligible?

      Thanks for the heads up. I've modified the description to show the updated link. Here it is: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/iec.html

      You can work full time for any employer

      @@sjpimmigration Thank you for your reply. I have a remote job in Australia and I could request my employer for a full-time job offer in Canada as they also have an office in Toronto. I am thinking working holiday visa would be an ideal choice without involving my employer into any convoluted visa processes.
      Do you think the experience accumulated (related to my field) on a holiday working visa can be counted towards Permanent residency in canada?

    Hi! Im currently trying to do the IEC application, have the GC Key and I'm eligible for the IEC program. I can get as far as 6:53, however, it doesnt go straight to the eservice page like it does for you at 7:01, it goes straight back to the main immigration and visit page on the main website. Am I doing something wrong?

      It's common for IRCC's portals to have tech issues. Usually if you clear your cache, or try a different browser or incognito window, this problem will resolve. If that does not work, wait a couple hours and try again.

    Thank you for this video 💖 However I have a question. My country is Philippines and it's not listed on the qualified counties. I understand that I need a Recognize Organization but when I clicked one of these organization with a label of Working Holiday it looks confusing because it seems like I need to be a part of some volunteer work like for example "Animal Rescue Vancouver" and there's a fee of 799 Canadian dollars. Also one more thing right now I'm 35 Years old and by April 26 this year I'm gonna be 36 years old. Is it possible for me to be accepted if I sign up now before I get to 36 years old? And maybe if I signed up for example this month of February I believe the processing time will reach to the point that I'm already 36 years old. Will they still accept me and just honor the the date I signed up which I'm only 35 years old by that moment? I really need some insights about this and I've been looking for days now to answer these questions of mine. I hope you shed a light on me about my dilemmas 💖 thank you in advance 🙏💖

      Hi Jace. Which RO are you referring to? I know the Philippines is not part of a YMA country. Unless there is an RO that is eligible to work with Philippines nationals, I am unaware. As for the age, it’s as long as you apply before you pass the age requirement. I think in your case, if you are planning to work in Canada, arranged employment might be the best alternative with an LMIA sponsorship route.

      @@sjpimmigration Hello good afternoon as I know it's already afternoon in Canada 💖 the RO name is "GO INTERNATIONAL" I'm aiming for working holiday status and with open work permit. My eldest brother is already there in Canada he's going 3 years in Canada now this coming February 18, 2023 our goal is to be together in the same city of Edmonton Alberta. And I'm so sad that I just recently saw about this IEC but I believe I already saw a video about this pathway although maybe that time there's only 2 options when I saw about this. And that is 1.COOP (internship) and 2. Young professionals with the benefits of only having a "specific work permit from one employer only" In my understanding even if my country is not eligible I can go through RO's and have a status of Working Holiday with an open work permit but however looking at these RO's it seems like I have to work with them plus there's a guidelines other UA-cam channel's videos that I also need a document from these RO's about Job offer so that's why it made me became confused. I'm so grateful that you answered my questions so instantly 💖🙏 it's already 2:23AM in my country and still can't sleep about this.

      @@sjpimmigration and also one more thing about your suggestion about arranged employment with a LMIA can you tell me more about it? Because there's a lot of Jobs in jobbank Canada but the problem is waiting for a LMIA takes ages and that's one of the hindrances to come to Canada and work as soon as possible.

    • @sjpimmigration
      @sjpimmigration  Рік тому

      @@jacealbano8677 I’ll do a video on arranged employment soon! But the gist of it is that you need an employer to want to hire you. That’s a lot easier when you are in Canada, perhaps visiting your brother. LMIA’s can be unnamed, so some employers already have them approved, and if you interview with the employer and have the skillset and experience they may offer you a job. Many agencies help those overseas with arranged employment but charge a significant amount for the LMIA either directly or indirectly. That is illegal. Don’t pay for an LMIA, and any reasonable consultant will do an LMIA based work permit application for $3000 max, and for a consultant to review, shouldn’t be more than $500. Be careful, there’s a lot of fraud out there.

    I am currently working in Canada under PGWP. I am Indian passport holder. Is that possible for me to create the pool for IEC?

    • @sjpimmigration
      @sjpimmigration  2 місяці тому

      Not in this pool. This is for working holiday, and with countries Canada has a reciprocal agreement with: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/iec.html
      As India is not an IEC country or territory, you need to use an RO: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/work-canada/iec/recognized-organizations.html
