Hi, Thank you for detailed viceo.
This is so good, thank you for making this video.
Thanks so much! I appreciate the comment. It inspires me to want to put out more videos like this.
@@sjpimmigration No thank you! I was gonna give up on this stream thinking my employer would never support me, now that you've shown how easy the process is for my employer, I finally have the guts to ask HR for help. Let's see how that goes...
A single video which expains everything. Great work Steve. Could you please advise what NOC code warehouse team leads are covered in? cause I am looking at this stream.
Thank you for your comment! It's challenging to pinpoint the exact NOC code for warehouse team leads since there are well over 500 NOC codes and job title is not always representative of the main duties. Focus on the main duties and the lead statement of the NOC to determine the correct one. Job titles are less important; it's the day-to-day duties that matter most. Narrow it down to about 3 possible job codes, reference the wage data on JobBank as well to help you focus it further.
hello steve, i’d really like to self represent in my pr application. Im eligible under the intl student stream and would really appreciate if you could make a video on what the process is after you get an EOI under this stream. Thanks
Awesome, your video is great. Can you please create one for ONIP: Master Graduate Stream?
Yes, soon
How long is the processing time after receiving ITA? I have seen some forums online that say it takes around 12-16 months to process as it is a non-aligned Express Entry stream. It would be great if you can share a recent timeline.
Hi
I want to know If job offer (Oinp international student stram)is from Hamilton then there will be 8 point or (3 in side GTA) location of job offer factor?
And if we create EOI profile while PGWP applied status and get ITA . Can we move forward while PGWP in applied status?
Thanks
What if my job title mentions mechanical designer and not mechanical design engineer. Can I select the option mechanical engineer. I have a Wes approved bachelor degree from India, but I don't have eit or peng license
Is 73201 NOC is in skilled trade? Is available in OINP?
I got a dumb question but, what is the graduate date? Is it the date that is on the diploma certificate or the date that you completed studies? So my studies were completed on sep 14, and I received my certificate on the October 26th.
Hi, Could you please answer my query? What if employer has different stores at different locations like in Kitchener, waterloo and Cambridge. My store has no PR/Citizen employee but there are some at other stores. Am I still eligible to apply?
Hi Steve! What happens with work from home cases? Should I use my address in report to work? My company office and my address is in Toronto, so it doesn't make any difference in the final score.
Good question. I believe it states where you regularly report to work, and because home and office are in same geographic area, I can’t imagine it would be problematic. I would want to use the office location.
great video! I just have one question. can we submit EOI with 6.5 bands and later in the file, can we update the ielts score to 7 in each module? will it make any difference or chances of rejection?
That’s a great question. Why would you bother updating it if you submitted a nomination application with a valid IELTS anyways and met the cutoff with 6.5 bands? It doesn’t matter if it expires during processing as long as you submitted when it was valid. Then, if you are submitting these new results with your PR application (which I believe has been removed as a requirement anyways), I’d provide a letter of explanation that your score improved. It wouldn’t harm or help you in my opinion.
Hi Steve. After submitting OINP application if we get higher IELTS score then can we update in Express entry profile or not?
As it's higher, I can't imagine it would present any issues.
Hello, if the company has different stores in the city, but mine has only 2 peemanent residents or cad citizens, it still works?
The requirements specify “at the location.” So if it’s outside GTA and not at least 3, probably not.
Good describe thanks. I want to know If job offer is from Hamilton then there will be 8 point or (3 in side GTA). And if we create EOI profile while PGWP applied status and get ITA . Can we move forward while PGWP in applied status?
Hamilton is in Hamilton region - 8 pts. It’s not Peel, Halton, Durham or York (GTA 3 pts). OINP accepts maintained status as valid status.
I got a Bachelor’s of Science in Science and Business at the University of Waterloo. Can I claim the 12 points for the STEM field or the 6 points for Business Admin? Thanks!
Because it is a B.Sc., I believe it would qualify for 12 points. It's pretty easy to create a profile, and there is more distinction and breakdown of programs and degrees in the OINP portal. I'd recommend filling it out and seeking what it grants you. Sounds like it's a double major, but in the faculty of Science.
Do you think the big banks in downtown toronto will sign this form? Is there a law to force them to do this?
It’s a stretch. Most large companies want nothing to do with sponsorship. It’s a problem and blind spot IMO when the PNP’s place so much emphasis on employer sponsorship. I love the idea of PNP’s, ie. provinces judging eligibility, just wish it involved nothing of the employer.
Hi steve,i am working in a non-profit organization, how i can complete the revenue section in the employer form?
Non-profits still earn revenue, they just recycle that revenue (donations, sales) back into the company and spend it on expenses so that no profits are generated by the company. It’s accounting terminology!
Hi buddy, i want to ask a quick question
I am applying for OINP, I have advance diploma (3 years) from GBC
Confused for option under;
Under level of education:-
1. Undergraduate college or CEGEP diploma 2 years or longer
2. Bachelors degree or equivalent 2 years or longer
Can you help with this? Will highly appreciate.
Thank you.
How much is the settlement fund that is required in OINP International Student Stream?
It’s based on job offer, and many that are typically don’t require settlement funds. I don’t believe there are settlement fund requirements for OINP int. Student.
Hi sir do we need Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) for this stream when we submit the application ?
Doesn't appear so: www.ontario.ca/document/oinp-document-checklists/employer-job-offer-international-student-stream-applicant
What if employer denies to fill employer form? Any alternatives for this? thanks
None that I am aware of. It's a required document and is dependent on employer giving a job offer.
When applying for the OINP international student stream, can I apply for both the "General draw" and the "Health and Tech occupations"? My job is code 22221 (tech support) so it falls inside the tech occupations stream
Mine NOC code is same as well. You don't specify the stream like you will be applying under "General Draw" or "Health and Tech occupations". You just create the profile and if the NOC code that you submitted falls under the NOC code of that specific occupation, you will be invited under that specific occupations stream.
If it's a targeted OINP draw under international students then yes.
If company has many locations in ontario then it counts under last three year if i am working that location is just opened a year ago ?
I don’t understand your question at all
Should business be incorporated in Ontario only?
Not only Ontario, it can be incorporated elsewhere, but it must be registered in Ontario as well, and have a place of business there. The full requirements are in the employer job offer guide in video description.
For the revenue What if the employer is a non profit organization like long term care
Non-profit doesn't equal non-revenue. It would be possible for non-profit organizations to utilize this pathway as long as they meet the revenue requirements.
@@sjpimmigration thank you
I've read that language test is not a requirement anymore or a scoring factor, can someone please confirm this with me?
Not sure where you heard this but perhaps you are referring to the fact that IRCC may not require proof of language after having already been confirmed by the province: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/standard-requirements/language-requirements/requirements-provincial-nominees.html
Hey, so there's no language proficiency requirement now, so how does the scoring work?
There is still language requirements for PNPs to receive the nomination. It's just become unnecessary to include that language proof on the PR application to IRCC now: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/standard-requirements/language-requirements/requirements-provincial-nominees.html
@@sjpimmigration Thank you 😊
