Hello, and thank you for your informative and practical presentation. I recently registered a corporation in Ontario for my startup company. I'm wondering about the difference between a company key and a business number. Both are 9 digits, and you used BN. Some people believe that the company key must be used, which I find confusing. How can you be sure which one is correct?

It specifically asks for the CRA business number in the employer portal. I've only ever used the CRA business number and would not advise using the company key or corporate access number (Alberta). They reference the province.
Could you answer in short what would be the explanation for C18 LMIA exemption, I am actually doing the application right now, if you see this please answer urgently.

Yes. The process is through the employer portal. Keep in mind, your employer needs to do this process.

I have a question.
I got worker support letter and nomination letter under AIP program By NB PROVINCE.
Now before i apply PR i want to apply for closed work permit and then i will apply PR under AIP.
While applying work permit, it asks “ what type of work permit we are applying”
Should that be LMIA Exempt?
If yes , then do we have to create employee protal to get LMIA exempt number?
It's LMIA exempt as you are using the support letter. Employer portal and creating the offer of employment in the employer portal is the responsibility of the employer.

So now in this situatuon, since we have got the support letter from the government. We just need LMIA exempt number from Employer + offer letter that we used while applying for the support letter from proviance and remaining all the documents are of employee.
Can we apply for work permit then through port flagging?? I got the nomination job support letter as well
I usually don't recommend flagpoling, especially for complex work permit applications (SUV, C11, C51). In fact, I think for A77 it's expressly prohibited somewhere on the IRCC website. Only for very straightforward LMIA based or LMIA exempt WP applications, that are warranted, and considering the applicant as well.

Do my employer still need to create an offer of employment in the employer portal to support my job offer letter if I’m already working with them from more than a year?
Am i still eligible to apply for lmia exempt if my employer provide me the job offer for continuing the job at the same postition

You will have to. To extend your WP, you’ll need an LMIA exempt offer of employment. If you look at work permit form IMM 1295, there’s no other viable option.

On what basis are you applying for a work permit? TFWP or IMP? What exemption?
@@sjpimmigration I'm not sure but I answered the questions in the IRCC portal to know if I qualify and the portal allowed me the option to apply for an employer-specific work permit with LMIA-exemption as a student that wants to change conditions. I qualify since I'm Colombian and there is a FTA between Colombia and Canada that exempt me to have an LMIA.

What if the business name doesn’t pop up when searching on the website, but have the CRA business number. Are they gonna enroll the employer with no problem?
If they have a valid business number they should be ok. If they can’t enrol, they need to email employer portal.
Normally, how long should I wait for th employer to complete this task. I am currently waiting for my offer of employment number for my Tempo Work Permit.

@@alvinmichaelleperez5632 they must. IRCC needs to to verify the authenticity of the work permit application or else there would be a lot of fake work permit submissions. @@sjpimmigration I am under NSNP T13 also. I received my nomination last May 16. Though, I informed them that I am ready on my offer of employment number last May 26. Based on the accomplished NSNP200 that they have provided to me. They have 14 Foreign workers. I am just thinking that the owner is just busy because the company has 11 franchise stores.
