Typical PANDEMIC Travel Day (returning home after pandemic - from Turkey to the USA)
Ever wondered what a crazy long typical travel day was like during the pandemic? Last year we came home from full-time travel to see our families still in the thick of the pandemic, right before the holidays. We had over 32 hours of travel after a busy day exploring the beautiful city of Gaziantep and were hoping beyond hope to get to experience a new type of airport sleep. We have slept on floors, chairs, and cushions in airports before, but never in a designated lay flat area for sleep. Istanbul International Airport has sleeping pods that are accessible with a priority pass and we were not going to miss the opportunity for a little sleep. Come join us for our second longest travel day yet as we travel home during the pandemic and check out a cool sleep option in an airport.

The BEST and WORST OF PANDEMIC TRAVEL || Meeting the nicest people traveling GAZIANTEP TURKEY
Переглядів 9582 роки тому
Today is the epitome of the BEST and WORST of PANDEMIC TRAVEL. We are in Gaziantep, the food capital of Turkey and all the restaurants are closed! Seriously. Take out only. It is rainy and cold and we can’t even go into a coffee shop for Turkish coffee… definitely the worst thing about pandemic travel- the ever changing rules and restrictions. But….. Gaziantep is not just home to the best food ...

the tactile lines that you didn't know were for the visually impaired (don't say blind), are all over America at ever crosswalk and legally to get a us license you have to pass a written exam where you learn about tactile lines the fact that you didn't know its very upsetting and shows how the school system failed you. it is also very rude to ear and drink while walking or in a walkway. if you visit our country you need to understand our rules of life and follow them. you were very rude, disregarding the visually impaired and disrespecting the Japanese community by standing in the walkway blocking others just to eat in the MIDDLE of the road blocking others walk paths i have a tip for you. don't come back here

The origin of lahmacun dates back to the Babylonian civilization. In Seyahatname, written by Evliya Çelebi in the 17th century, this flavor finds its place as “lahm-ı acinli börek” (meat pastry kneaded to dough consistency). The Middle Babylonian Period is a new Turkish period that continued for 1100 years after the Sumerians and Gutians.

I don't know how I ended up in this video but you did an amazing job. Short and satisfying sections, spot on pronounciation, honest review (can tell since you had no positive comments on the coffee and delight), beautiful smile. You earned a subscriber, I see you're inactive for a while but hope you continue with your videos soon.

Greetings from Nova Scotia Canada. I am so impressed with what the local people have done with these growing conditions. Except for the salt the soil must be very good. I live in an area where the British exiled all the Acadian people here centuries ago. Some of them stayed and were helped by the local tribal people .Many eventually returned. They were only allowed to settle the worse land and what they did with it is simply wonderful, and still taught and celebrated today. I love the Turkish people, music and culture.
