Thanks for watching last video in this 3 part Kyiv series. What's your favorite part from the three videos? Anything your didn't know before or found interesting? Let us know in a comment below, we'd love to know and answer any further questions :)
I just love all of the architecture and art work everywhere. The amount of time it must have taken for everything to be made in this video...mind blowing. The aqua building with the gold, wow. Great job!
Thank you! Kyiv is so full of stunning buildings especially the churches!!! We were blown away! Thank you for commenting and watching the video! We really appreciate your support and encouragement 💛💛
Got to have fun right? It's really beautiful, can't believe it's been under renovation for so long hopefully they can finish it and open up indoors for the public too
Thanks for the encouragement! Not sure if you got to see the first of the 3 Kyiv videos ( I think you saw the last one and this one) but either way wanted to ask what was your favorite part out of the series.
Yes we it's a pretty clean city like you said. There's workers that clean the streets throughout the day and especially early before the sunrise but like anyplace there's a few areas where it's a bit more littered. The churches thought our kyiv vlogs have been truly beautiful in the inside and out. And I, Yev, appreciate the support of my shameless plugs haha. I'm just having fun and being myself in those moments but also hoping to get engagement on our videos so that youtube looks on our channel more favorably haha
Thank you we are really enjoying learning more and getting better at flying it. Definitely harder then it seems but the result is so worth it! Thank you for watching and commenting and supporting our channel!
That church looked absolutely beautiful and the colors are so stunning. Love how you play rock paper scissors to see who runs back for the camera, think we should start doing that, as I (Adam) am the one who usually has to do it and I get knackered...hehehe. Loved the FUNNIES and your rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody HAHAHA. Cant wait to find out your next country guys, so exciting. Travel safe and we will see you in your next adventure. ONE LOVE
Cable trams! Awesome. And worth not destroying your legs. Absolutely beautiful church - and our favorite colors, blue & gold..."Just look at it!" And they "just" rebuilt it? WOW. Great fashion statement - #DudesWithScarves Nice red castle-like structure. And yes...the doors...could totally see them used with the musician inside in a rock music video...ooh...ooh...a remake of Bohemian Rhapsody! We'll just go with you on that hedgehog story. The teal museum...yes, yes, go back there and check it out! This great restaurant in Kyiv called "Bahama Mama." Shall we start a tiki restaurant in Kyiv with that name? You in Kyiv vs. us in San Diego with rock, paper, scissors...I think we need a tournament. As always, great storytelling!
Thank you! The storytelling is really what I want to get better and better at. I think storytelling is such an improvement skill in life to share your life with others and your dreams and passions. Really appreciate the encouragement! That rock paper scissor tournament would be awesome!
One of our thing to do in Ukraine has to be hunting their local food, less than $5 is a great price for Europe. that cable car going up remind is so cool! remind us of the The Peak in Hong Kong. Beautiful church and beautiful country. How long do you guys suggest to stay in Kyiv? bet 3 days in not enough to explore the city haha.
The prices are great for Europe but kyiv is more expensive the Lviv for accommodation but especially restaurants. We had fun taking the cable car up almost didn't do it because we like to walk most places but it was so cheap and unique so we had to do it. We haven't been to HK, hope to get there some time, I've seen some beautiful videos and photos from there. I'd say it depends on your pace of travel but 4 full days is enough for active exploring of the city.
Anna, ughh we know we're so sorry that it hinders the viewing experience :/ the microphone jack on our sony camera broke. We used to use an external mic and liked it, we still have it but have been unable to get it repaired in any of the countries we've been in. We're constantly trying to find a way to fix it. Unfortunately were not able to just buy a new camera haha, full-time unemployed hehe :) were hopeful we'll be able to get a repair in the next place we go
It's really good! In Ukraine there's sweet cherries ( cherry ) and sour cherries (vyshnya) a lot of the deserts and drinks and pretty much everything "cherry is made with the sour kind". I think the tartness helps to balance the sweetness of sugars and it gives it a deeper flavor... Maybe lol? It was good though, very popular, most households they homebrew fruit wines with raspberries, cherries, etc. Very very common... Amd if not fruit wines people make infused moonshine, most common is walnut kind.. similar to noccino I imagine.
@@DjusLife @DjusLife yeah - i've only made liqueur from sour cherries for just the reason you said. Is it actually fermented cherry or do they also do like a brandy infusion (I think different cultures do both but I forget at the moment where everything comes from). Regardless it was fun to see that moment : )
No! I don't know if we did :/ that's unfortunate. Would love to try some. Amy got inspo for canning and fermentation from being in Ukraine so long. She was like when we have a house.... Haha
In Kyiv there's definitely a good number of people that do, especially in hospitality and service sector. Locals are taught english in schools but it's quite limited

It takes like 3 miniutes for the notification to come threw because I live in the uk
Wow still so fast!! We're currently in North Macedonia so it's pretty late here too

@@DjusLife completely understandable, I’ll still be watching! :)
Thank you for being so gracious we really appreciate it!
makes me wonder what professional cherry liqueur tastes like.

Oh cool, no they most common is straight up fermentation. Vessel, 1 part cherries, 1 part sugar, and most importantly time.
@@DjusLife Wait did you never have any of the cherry liqueur that I made? Pretty much the same idea
No! I don't know if we did :/ that's unfortunate. Would love to try some. Amy got inspo for canning and fermentation from being in Ukraine so long. She was like when we have a house.... Haha
Do alot of locals speak English there?
In Kyiv there's definitely a good number of people that do, especially in hospitality and service sector. Locals are taught english in schools but it's quite limited
Hie friends please tell me-
If I have to come to Ukraine to study, can I come here work with my studies
If you want to work you will need to have a work visa I believe, best check with your embassy
@@DjusLife ok thankyou
Of course!
Just found you from @beingbedenfield new subscribers here. Looking forward to watching your videos. ~Cara 😊
