Luckily we've never had any run-ins while we were away, but we did get in trouble for filming on our flight to BC. Loved seeing around Hagia Sofia and learning more of the history - such a pretty spot. Ice cream and a show! Definitely had to work for it.
My kids watch where's Waldo on Peacock and in the Turkey episode they eat sticky ice cream. It has risen to one of the top things to eat on my food bucket list. So, I have to know, was it actually good?
Ok honest … I like other ice cream better… but we did have some goat milk Turkish ice cream that was amazing! It isnt as creamy as I like… it is more gummy and cold then creamy and sweet. Definitely worth trying though. The kiddos would probably love it especially if they like flavors like cotton candy haha 😂 I think fruit flavors may be better then chocolate. But I always order chocolate 🙄😊

We hate hate getting in trouble!! Ahhhh! But honestly it was such a tense time in Istanbul and the fact that it was turned back into a mosque was so controversial so they dont allow journalists inside reporting in it. I’ll take it as a compliment that I looked that professional 🤣 but seriously they were no joke and put me through the ringer to prove I was a nurse 🤣
@@DjusLife I haven’t! It’s absolutely on the top of my list but my wife doesn’t like long flights so I haven’t been able to convince her. 11 hours to Europe is the longest I’ve talked her into. Maybe if we start in Europe first? Look forward to seeing your Africa travels! Be well!
