Guys, these videos are great! I'm really, really impressed by the production values - they're absolutely "Kara and Nate" level. I feel like you guys deserve to be a lot better known and I will do anything I can to help you get more subscribers!
Wow 🤩 Rob thank you for such amazingly kind words and encouragement! We really appreciate the support. Your words made our night! We put so much into the vlogs and we really love it, thank you!!!!
Many thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Makes having a drone worth it in places like this where you wouldn't be able to fully describe it or show it otherwise.
All the churches and mosques built along the mountainside are so beautiful. I really love the one with the red tiles/brick. I can’t believe people still live in there. Your guide was super sweet. How lovely to meet such friendly locals! 😊
It was definitely a unique castle with the amount of churches and mosques and the fact that 1200 people still live there. It was fun to meet and tour with one of them for sure!
Spectacular place!!!! I am so jealous guys 🤗 Really awesome weather...you are so lucky! I will add that in my bucket list 😊Well done 👏 have a great weekend ❤️
That was so nice that you got a local tour guide to take you around the castle. Those drone shots were amazing! I love visiting castles. Great scenery there.
Definitely a good decision to get the drone out in the castle. You got so much good aerial footage. Its nice that you were still able to tour the castle on your own and not feel rushed after the tour.
Yes it was! we did feel a bit rushed as we had to return the car on time to not pay any penalties but fortunately everything worked out great :) Such amazing vides up there, especially with the drone.
Well there's more to come so hope you don't get sick of us haha :) were thinking of starting to upload regularly on Tuesdays and Fridays now. Glad you like the drone shots, we also feel like were getting better at flying and capturing shots now which makes us want to use them more and more and keep working on our flying haha
@@DjusLife as long as you guys are having fun with it, that is what matters:) No way would anyone get sick of it- drone shots are a little sneak peak of how the angels view us!
Yes first coffee! Can't start any day without it. Beautiful drone shots guys. Sorry for the hill but it's hard to invite people in a car due to covid probably 😔 how nice is that guy helping you taking a pic and showing you around! The castle is looking awesome from the top. Seems like a fun day you had!
Glad you enjoyed the drone shots, we've been enjoying them lately, maybe we're getting a bit better at flying and capturing. Totally agree with the carpooling and covid I think everyone is a bit more cautious these days.
Wow, so cool that you had the whole place to yourselves and your own little tour guide. So cool that he lives there, sounds like he kept you two busy running around 🤣 amazing aerial shots too guys! So cool that it’s free to go there and that people actually live there. Other than the royal castles in London I don’t think we’ve seen any lived in by people.
Totally! We haven't seen any either where people still live inside, 1200 people! crazy! It was an unexpected tour with him, as crazy and rushed as it was we were happy in the end :) Great to meet new people
@@DjusLife Just watched the video 😊 You guys are so good at vlogging and always look so comfortable in front of the camera! Amy...love the drone shots of you exploring the castle, really well done 💛 How cool is Vitali...can’t believe he grew up and still lives in the castle complex. So many churches in there! As always, great vlog and really enjoy watching your travels 🌟
You guys never disappoint us with amazing drone footgage! So freaking amazing, i think i could smell the coffee through the phone.... 🥰🥰 that hill looked sssssoooooo insane 😶 wow so cool that old man showed you around the Castle its so incredible... great video as always ! One love 💜
So glad you guys enjoyed the video and the drone shots. We've been trying to be more intentional with our flying and recording with the drone. Glad to hear it's paying off. Tough hill for sure but it was worth it to walk around with our local guide :)
You guys are a joy to watch. In Tirana, make you sure you ask to drink coffee "mulliri i vjeter" old mill! It has a unique taste and it's strong. And if you could make it in a day's trip to Pogradec. Make sure weather will be sunny and you start from Tirana early morning. Depending how long you will stay in Albania visit Durres, Kruje, restaurant Mrizi i Zanave and Albanian Alps some of the attractions you may want to see.
Thanks for the tips Al! You have given us a lot of great suggestions over the past few videos. Unfortunately, we'll have to revisit your suggestions when we come back as we have already left but thank you for your suggestions again, it will be so helpful for everyone else watching these videos that might be planing to visit Albania.
@@DjusLife Good luck guys and thank you for helping of showing my country's image positively to the world. My country needs it. Don't forget the taste of that black seeds persimmon or hurme as we call it in Albanian haha!
Sorry guys..i just joined your channel a little while ago and am watching you out of order...I really luv your narratives & how much detail you put in. Including the fact that the bridge is for pedestrians only and is super bouncy in the middle..I loved that you left in the huffing and puffing and was just as exhausted as you were when you reached and toured the castle. Lol. You were right the your guide was adorable..keep safe and please keep on vlogging.
Awww thank you!!! We love showing how it really is. The ups and downs of the adventure 😍 so glad you enjoyed it!! So happy uour found our little channel. We are several vlogs behind but would love for you to stick with us!
What do you mean by from the Netherlands? Like as in made in the Netherlands or it was the on route from Netherlands. I'm guessing the prior haha. How long did you live there?
The parsimon you're eating we call black seed persimmon. You can find both kinds in Albania. White seed persimmons which will choke you when you eat them unless they are ripe and soft and black seed persimmons. Here in the States a single persimmon costs $1 or even $2! Haha, what a difference!
I didn't know that kind had the seeds too. I love persimmons but have usually found the other kind that makes your mouth all numb when not ripe to have seeds. Amy likes the crunchy ones more I like the crunchy and "slimy" kinds and yes, I definitely tried to eat as many as I could because I know in the states they are so expensive unfortunately.
@@DjusLife The ones that make your mouth numb are easy to find in Elbasan, the town I grew up. They are double the size of the biggest size I've seen here in the States and as I mentioned you need to wait until they soften. Now is the perfect time to find them. Wish US Dept of Agriculture allowed them to come and be planted in US. There are some wonderful varieties of fruits and veggies in my country that I really wished were here too. Maybe is some parts of US they exist but I have yet to come across!
Hey, I hope you are well. I have seen all videos. Very well. I appreciate your work. I want to connect with you & i have sent an email by ifthekar robin, kindly check it out. and waiting for your reply. Thanks

@1:31 No Dunkin' in Albania? What's that about?!
No we haven't seen dunking in over 9 months. The closest was the cousin coffee shop in Japan that was opened by a cousin of the owner of Dunkin' haha
We're not the biggest fans of DD anyways hehe
