The Hidden Symbolism Behind Mad Men's Fashion (season 4 analysis)
In this video, I'm analyzing how different shades of blue represent emotional states in Mathiew Weiner's Mad Men's fourth season, focusing on characters like Betty, Peggy, and Pete and exploring the significance of "Campbell Blue." I'm also discussing Janie Bryant's inspirations, like Elizabeth Taylor’s Cleopatra (1963) look that influenced Jane Sterling, and how real-world fashion icons inspired Mad Men's costumes. Lastly, I'm examining the sparkly wardrobe choices of characters like Megan and Jane, and how glamour and glitter are used to signify ambition, allure, and personal transformations. Enjoy xx

SATC s01e05 episode review: Amalita Amalfi, the D&G shoes and Charlotte's modeling career
One thing about Carrie and Big is that they have a very similar humour. They bounce off each other and, to me, they have the best chemistry in the show because of it. It’s a shame about the rest of their crap
I hate the fact the aidan hit her just because he was mad about bigs call. Dude u chose to be with her .
I always liked Ralph’s tan and white suits and he pulled off wearing a cravat without looking like a yuppie.
I don’t even make $2000 a month in 2024 🙃
So candace was also a pick me 🥴 yikes
> Woman speaks *Close video*
"A don doesn't wear shorts."
Disagree
Johnny Sack always looked perfect and sharp to me, even in a patient gown.
Carrie is boring I hate BIG too
🚭🙅🏼♀️🥃❌🍺
Carrie listens to STYX 😆
samantha was the best character 😢
No mention of Vito's coat he needed the cufflinks for? That was a slick suit.
gloria had the best sense of style imo
Members only? How long you been wearing that?
They’re boring because they’re stuck in early 2000’s
Pigeon is totally different than duck. Pigeon is NYC street icon. Bejeweled duck is different
THE JACKEEEEEET
So what, no fuckin' Silvio now?
THAT'S BIG !!!! that man with the egg shaped head ??? Oh god
YES! It’s pc bs
It is so hard to imagine how things were in the late 90s and early 2000s. I was just a kid back then, all i had to do was go to school do homework and play outside or nintendo. The life of an adult without a smartphone, with a boring ass job(no show jobs) seems miserable.
I think Johnny Sack is the best dressed out of everyone. His suits are impeccable
Super filmik, chciałabym kupić oryginalną książkę ale nigdzie nie mogę jej znaleźć😭 bardzo przyjemnie się oglądało dzięki twojemu bogatemu słownictwu :)
'some guys nowadays wanna be buried in their jogging outfit'
The boss does not wear shorts
No mikey palmice he was the freshest
amazing analysis, having watched it recently for the first time, i agree with everything
Chris was always fly
Tony Sopranos is not really an anti-hero, he's more of a villain-protagonist.
Drop the woke concept of toxic masculinity it dosent exist, its just real men being real men
I appreciate the typewriter sounds :)
When my mom passed my brother, sister and dad opted to wait with our family. Her mom, her aunt, and myself sat with her. I'm glad I did, it broke my heart, but I saw her out and talked to her the entire time.
Best dressed in the Sopranos has to be Johnny Sak, suits always impeccable and his cars are also on point with his sense of style
AJ always put that shit on
No Tony dressed powerful as hell…he made the clothes the clothes didn’t make him
Great video. Blue is my favorite color💙
Another great video :)
This video is amazing❤❤
The only people who would know who she is talking about are her close circle or people who were really around her during that time. I tried find who these women were in real life, can’t find them lol
In 1995 she was making 7k/month or $14,500 today.
Look im only in my 30s, but ppl acting like women in their mid to late 50s are sooooooo old is weird to me. My parents are that age and are 100x younger looking and acting
What is the shirt Tony is wearing in the thumbnail? Thanks.
I hadn't even realised just how blue season 4 was. 💙 Incredible video! Thank you! Excited to see your take on season 5.☺
girl, I loved YOUR videos about Betty and Megan! please make one about Joan xx
@@KasiaSopniewska Oh wow, thank you so much!😚 That's truly a compliment coming from you. Joan is next! ❤🔥
I was so poor I could only ride the horses in my backyard… Bishh stfu…
Carrie condensated all the mistakes a woman could do. Staying friends with your ex, for example, seems to make sense, but it is RARELY viable.
Just like the cars Chris takes the win again bro stayed with a nice nike track suit 🔥🔥‼️
I LOVE the decorator theory, especially bc I love anything that ties in Patricia Neal!
Sex in the City did more damage to modern women than patriarchy ever could.
Yes, hookup culture on steroids nonsense. Pickmes & cool girls and Carrie was both.
