bass doesnt perform as well at low volume, thats probably what the button is for, it is like the "loudness" button on old Hi-fi equipment

Aaron, Rachel was using a different brand but same concept that had 3 mics available. She would probably a good one to reach out to for this chat. But I am very nervous to try it out for a wedding also. Looking at Nick Spinelli he is only using Lav mics only.

Aaron great video. I have a complete RCF system and just added my second Evox 12 they are fantastic speakers but yes they always have a little damage similar to what you showed when they arrrived.

Hello Aaron. I'm also thinking about buying the RCF evo 12. I'm having a gig soon in a relatively small multi-purpose hall that will be converted into a disco that evening. Between 150 and 200 standing or dancing guests are expected. Do you think two RCF evo 12s would be enough here? A lot of bass-heavy music is played and I want to give the guests a decent sound without constantly being stuck in the limiter. Best wishes

Haha, like it Aaron. Slightly different in the UK. Sure i do all day weddings but they’re a little different. One, hardly even have out door ceremonies as the weather is to unpredictable, even in summer. If we do, we never mic up the officiant / wedding party. They’re often smaller ceremonies for 50-60 folk so no need. Again. Cocktail hour music is played depending on weather and most weddings that aren’t in a barn or teepee are usually coordinated by the venue wedding team. Usually i just rock up an hour before i start at 6pm and we work 7pm-midnight 85% of the time. Of course i have a couple of Salsa booths too which is usually booked with me and light up LOVE letters occasionally. All day weddings are a drag as you say, most of it is anything but DJing. 😂

Everything we run is RCF now. I'll be taking our smallest system, which is four Evox 12's, out in a couple weeks. No need for those 'bells and whistles' if you're plugging in and DJing. And RCF sound is hard to beat without spending a fortune.

LOL...This rant of yours is pretty much the very same thing I was ranting about 13-14 YEARS AGO when the new Trend was to have the DJ handle the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at the same venue was becoming a big thing. Couples were shifting away from the traditional church ceremony, and having their reception in a catering hall or hotel ball room to having their weddings at Wedding Mansions, and Rustic Barn weddings, and these trendy wedding venues where everything was all inclusive at the venue. I went from deejaying 4 hour receptions needing a single sound system to 6-7 hour long 3 sound system set up events. There were a handful of events prior to 2010 that were 2-3 system set up locations, but 2010 and later, it all transitioned to what we now do today. There is way more BS we have to contend with now, and it's TRULY NOT AS FUN as it used to be. I am in this game purely for the MONEY these days. Not the Love of Deejaying. Well, it's 97% money, and 3% the satisfaction of being a part of my couples big day, but deejaying isn't fulfilling to my soul like it used to be at all.

Amen Brother Aaron. As wedding entertainers we do more than Dj . They expect to dance on a cloud dance on the stars or dance under the stars they want all the lights of a disco night club before ceremony speeches and special dances before we mix our first song.

I have them both...and love them both. Came from JBL PRX series, and never looking back (except for MY EON 612's which i still have)
