I had the Denon 8000 and I still have the Denon 7000 so I'm not sure if I want to haul a big Boy controller like that again. I'm now using 2 Rolland 707m's and I love them but totally going with no laptop is a little freaky
Smart Playlist is a work in progress still. Many fields have only one parameter, contains. Its gonna need more then one parameter. eq: Genre, Contains Deep Does not Contain House. or Contains Tech, does not Contain Techno. Etc...
Hey Aaron, off topic, but i had a quick question.. How do you introduce a wedding party with there music? Do you use sample or record all songs and use cues? Thanks man, i love all your videos. Funny and informative... thanks man
If every couple wants their own song, I'll drop them all in GarageBand and then set cue points. If it is only a few couples, I'll just have them in the playlist and load them in each deck. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!

Does anyone know how to re-arrange the order of playlists in Engine DJ? I don't mean the songs within the playlists but the order of the playlists themselves.
@@AaronStrawn I can't move them. If I grab a playlist and try to move it up or down there is a red circle with a red line through the circle that comes up.

Smart Playlists are the killer feature for me, finally! TouchFX are great on the Opus Quad, can't wait to try them later tonight on the Denon!

I do that in Engine on my laptop. You can move them anywhere. Then sync it up with your drives
