If you look at my comment history i was more bullish about penning being able to do a 180... I am now more confident he will be better, but McCoy saying about the other two "oh these things are so great about them, tali is very polished for a rookie saldiveri has the right mindset after returning from injury" and about penning he said "its a good system for him" probably means hes not in for the full turn around to looking like a good value pick.

The Broncos were 8-9 last year so I wouldn't say second worst team, you are think8ng about 2022 Broncos.

The Saints should've gone outside of the organization for a head coach after Payton left. Hiring DA and keeping Carmichael was the mistaken idea that the offensive system was an organizational identifier instead of it being a Sean/Drew thing. The Saints were miserable when they hired coaches to maintain the old Mora way (Ditka, Haslett) and so far, Allen has been miserable. This season will be the litmus test- will things be different now that the OC hasn't been rooted in position for 20 years or does DA really suck no matter who his OC is? I don't think of this team as a less than 9 win team...they're not that bad...but if they crash and burn this season, will Madame Benson have the courage to tear it down to the studs and rebuild?

If johnson is out significant time, i think foster will be just fine. lets not forget what was on his plate before the start of last season. he was behind both mentally, physically and emotionally. Foster is better than what he showed last season.

the infatuation for atlanta is the fact that we got rid of arthur smith, got the hottest oc and signed a top 16 qb that was having a career year prior to injury who also is familiar with the scheme that's coming down here. very talented young skill position players as well. we were in the running of winning the south with the worst qb play in this division... and context needs to go the rankings when it comes to defense. that defense was actually alot better than what those rankings say...
