Not even top 30 in rushing yds or rushing + receiving, he shoud stop acting like he is the top rb in the league, he isnt even top 10
This is where the Cult Of Kamara start in with their boatload of excuses for an old and underachieving RB who has NEVER carried the load himself. He has only ever ridden Drew Brees coattails, needed Michael Thomas at the top of his game, and a back like Ingram or Latavius Murray to carry the ball between the tackles. How does such a specific role player hold out for even more money when he is the highest paid RB in the league in 2024.

Kamara is not a top ten RB. The Saints fans delusion about what AK actually is has become tiresome. He's not a locker room leader. He's just not. You can get Dalvin Cook or Kareem Hunt off the street at vet minimum and have the same RB with significantly less mileage on the body.
The fact that the system can make Jeff Wilson look so good is all the more reason to NOT sign Kamara and be willing to run with Jordan Mims are James Robinson.
I don’t blame ak41 for holding out! He knows he’s about to have a blow up season under a new OC! I can’t wait to see what the RB room does.
Kamara yards per carry last 3 seasons 3.7, 4.0, 3.9. He should take a pay cut. As of right now he’s our biggest cap hip at 18 million according to Over The Cap

Example Hester and other give AK a pass for a bad season due to Oline play calling etc but Derek Carr should be benched for Rattler and disrespected. I can see the Saints letting AK walk, holdout, or whatever he thinks is going to give him a sense of leverage and then go out and sign Dalvin Cook to show him the team doesn't need or want him anymore.
Kamara is a rotten apple in the box. He is going to affect the locker room negatively. He is in the same category as Winston and Thomas. And on top of that he isn’t worth a top ten running back type of money. If he doesn’t agree to a reasonable contract then the Saints should trade him.
A player who wants to win is a lockerroom cancer? a player who is the 2 best on this team! a player who was used terribly after sean left! a player who had to run behind a bottom 20 Oline over a 3-4 yr spand! aplauer who is top 3 in TDs total at the RB position since coming into the league! that player right?

@@sheedgotem8300The player that got suspended for a Thug beating, the player who sat out several games when season started, the player who also sat out the last 2 games and Saints won without, the player that had missed assignments and didn’t run the right route and acknowledged it in locker room, the player that had inner clicks with Thomas and Winston, the player who doesn’t attend OTA’s for the better of the team, the player that doesn’t want to build chemistry with the new offense. Are we talking about the same Thug that signed a contract and now doesn’t want to honor?

They probably get a deal done with AK before training camp starts. That's my guess. It's just based on the fact we haven't had any leaks to the media yet, that I'm aware of, at least. If you think the other side is being unreasonable is when you leak stuff like this, isn't it? If there is a lot of animosity, that's when you start leaking stuff, trying to apply some public pressure.

If johnson is out significant time, i think foster will be just fine. lets not forget what was on his plate before the start of last season. he was behind both mentally, physically and emotionally. Foster is better than what he showed last season.

Let him. How much he gonna get paid at 30 after missing a year? Not much. Although i think it's better to trade him and get something in return than let it get to that. I think trying to sign a 3 yr 30 million deal would be insane. Why did we draft the top 75 running back? Why restructure Taysom? If we pay anybody we should be trying to keep Adebo who was the best player on the team last year, is young and remains unsigned.
For contrast Rhamondre Stevenson just signed a 4 yr 17m and he's a bellcowv entering his prime. If i was AK i would want a trade to Miami. If i was the team i would do it.
If he sits a year, he will never play in the NFL again. Look how much better and younger Le'Veon Bell was when he did it, and he never came back.

You mean RB who were drafted the same year he was, he is the only remaining RB still with the team that drafted him other than Henry ... AK should have been left based on how undisciplined the coaching staff was in the last couple of seasons.

@@1B2B-ReyA Man stop ... okay I'm will be nice about this. Henry and AK both have 10K+ yds. The difference between the two, Henry gained 9K on the ground 1k through the air. AK with bad QBs in the last 3 seasons gained 5K on the ground and 4k through the air, the rest of those guys are not close. Considering Henry was drafted a year before AK he's a better RB than Henry
@@alphasports3743 Jacobs, Barkley, Henry all led the league in rushing for a season. AK can't crack 1,000 yards. Eckler, rushing and receiving is better. All I'm telling you is, he MIGHT get a one year deal somewhere. But he's NOT dominant as you think.

We should sign Kareem Hunt to a vet minimum. And also Mims is a guy Nick Underhill and the other white guy are somewhat high on.
I’d say give him 8 a year for the next two years and have a another 8 for the third year all three years guaranteed third year hanging on if the Saints do not trade him if they keep him for the third year, he still gets eight guaranteed
At least it gives them time to judge from his performance and then he’ll be open for another contract if he still doing great

And the saints would have a option to move on after two years and get him for one more if he’s still looking good
And a 16 for two or 3yrs for24
And they can always spread it further later and I think kamara would go with that as long as it’s locked that he’s getting that money 💰 anyway thanks for the response. Just my thoughts.
