I think it could go really well, I honestly think we have wayyy better coaches in the building that will gameplan better and adjust better. I’m excited to see what we get.
Coaches are way better than last year no doubt
James, you need to react to the Chris Long Derek Carr interview.
It’s on the list 👏🏻👏🏻
It's a great interview, Can't wait.
People acting like qb is a concern are delusional, we have a better qb than we have o line, d line, tight ends and receivers.
Carr was the highest graded player on offense for most of the season, people act like they werent trying to force the ball to thomas on key 3rds and in the endzone when he couldnt get separation at all, theres a reason the offense looked way better once perry started to play more.
He’s done nothing of significance - that’s the reality of it. But if it equates to delusional - I’ll take it 😂
@@BrentonBannister-gc2pt what has Kamara done the last 3 years? Or olave? Even lattimore cant stay on the field
Well Olave has had two thousand yard seasons, Carr looked great at the end of the year and I'm excited to see what AK can do in a Kubiak system..
As for the OL it's an unknown right now but we have invested in the position and let's see what we get out of Saldiveri, Fuaga, Penning and Ram, we know what we have in McCoy and Ruiz, with the motion and misdirection it could play to their strengths.. I think the trenches are key bc we have the offensive pieces, we have arguably the best secondary in the league, Demario and Willie should be solid but just like the OL, we need Chase Young, Granderson and Cam to play well and maybe Turner and Foskey can make progress.. Bresee and Boyd with Shepard and Saunders could be a strength in the middle.. I actually think this is very solid analysis, you got a new subscriber WhoDat 10-7
Lol I'm joking butt if taysom hill plays more positions he will fight in the ufc next 🤣
lolololol
James people are so like stuck on carrr to the point where I had someone tell me that it is all Carr fault last because he is getting paid the most😂. My counter to that was just saying so it’s drew Brees fault when we went 7-9 for 3 straight seasons because he is getting paid 100 million 😂. He said yes he had the most turnovers🤦🏾. I don’t even know where he got that stat from
@@LouisWinthorpe3 thank you, but that was all from a conversation I had with a person claiming he gets paid the most. Which I do not agree with and knows he doesn’t
Actually an offense is nothing without a good o line. Saints done unless they play well
Boy them Subs keep going up i see. Congrats
The takeover is real
What if pennix gets confused about plays once halftime swap
They started off with Carr….🤔 But honestly, how would you feel going into the season if both the O-Line and Pass rush were just as good, or equally ranked as Carr? Like would it be a net positive improvement for the team overall, a push, or a downgrade?
It depends on what you mean by "ranked" most media is ranking carr in the 20-22nd range when he has proven he always is in the 10-12 production wise (even last year with all the drama and slow start he ended top 10 in tds and most efficiency stats).
So, for me it would be a massive improvement to have an o line that produces top 10 stats in sacks and pressures allowed and yards per carry and yards before contact and a d line that produces top 10 stats in sacks, pressures, yards allowed per carry, etc.
@@eduardopoceros7737 Good points…that’s kind of exactly what I mean when I said “ranked” as good as Carr…As in, if the O-Line played with the same exact consistency/frequency and performance, as Carr (the same ups and downs at different points throughout the season), would that be a net positive over what we had last year, or worse?
@@eduardopoceros7737too many IF’s… everyone should buckle up
Taysom would be a guy to sell a lockerroom
Great work James. Reaction to Chris Long/Derek Carr video 🍻
Will do!
So McCoy not good?
No offensive line can look good with Derek Carr behind it, exact same as his brother. They have that same nonsense tap dance routine where they feel invisible pressure
I really just want us to find our cj stroud or Jordan love shiii or even Anthony Richardson I really don’t care I just want us to find a young long term Qb that’s all I want
I think we've already seen Carr's floor as a Saint, and I truly hope it's only up from here. He was clinically efficient in the back half of last season. 25 touchdowns total, only 2 interceptions in the last 5 games
Same. Last year was the bottom and it still wasn’t that bad.
The center position must not be considered part of the offensive line, because Erick Mccoy is a pro bowler and should be considered better than the rookie.
The O line will be fine these coaches on offense seems smart they seem to be coaching on their strengths now will they mess up yes maybe a lot the qb has to be smart
I could be wrong but I feel like the two big strengths we had on our playoff teams were are two biggest weaknesses these past couple years. Both lines.
Yeah, it's the offensive line because of the unknowns. I'm not concerned about Carr at all unless the concern is he might get injured because if he goes down the backup quarterback is a huge unknown. Pass rush is a concern. Run stopping is a concern. Another concern is that some of the older players might fall off a cliff in terms of production.
Big true about run defense. That’s a big concern.
James PLEASE the city needs your reaction to the Chris Long Derek Carr interview
Coming soon 👏🏻👏🏻
🎉
Not the “city” 😂😂
Yes James is now the voice of the Saints and the whole city NOF should hire this dude way better personality than Nick Underhill and Mike Triplett keeps me laughing and always on point.
Really excited with adding Willie Gay. He's going to help with mobile QBs and pass coverage.
Mid af
I get this is the negative reaction, but why are the Saints assumed to fail when other "failed" teams are assumed to make huge leaps with unproven play and without knowing what's going to happen? Crazy the Saints hate. Reminds me of women who don't date good men cuz they're "boring". Lol
I watched a show today that has us finishing 3rd to last in the NFL SMH the disrespect is at a all time high
Yeah that’s crazy low
Both lines are atrocious, defensive line only 28 sacks and really think chase young is the savior 🤦🏽♂️🤢
TM didn’t have a good year imo.
Yo James. Where’s the madden vids at. Wanna see what happens in the playoffs
Coming this weekend my dude
We may be overanalyzing things. IMO, we've had the worst OC in the NFL for two years, and we changed that. We are an ascending team this year. Carmichael made Alvin Kamara look bad. Half of the recent draft picks we've given up on as fans are probably going to be decent starters, and we can only go up from here.
I’m glad you are talking about this. I made a comment on one of your previous videos about the offensive line….I commented about how much of a difference it made for the last 5 games of the season last year. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t it seem like they stepped up a little bit and gave Carr just a little bit more time and gave the plays more time to progress? It just seemed like Carr had an extra second or 2 during the last 5 games. Hell I thought Carr looked pretty darn good when he had a little more time. I mean….Archie Manning was a great QB but he was always running for his life and had to pull some spectacular plays out of his ass bc the line was awful for the most part. So yeah if they can consistently give Carr some extra time I think he will do some great things. I could just be talking out of my ass but that’s just my 2 cents.
I think wherever Fuaga plays he's gonna be good. PFF has Saints O line the worst in NFC South. A lot of questions but too early to tell.
Is his salary average.. we paying him 50 million to be average and last year you were ripping him a new one.. not sure I understand your change of heart
A qb is nothing without an o line lol
Texans had a bottom 5 o-line last year. Stroud did alright. Bengals had a bottom o-line their Super Bowl season. Burrow figured it out.
QB > Scheme > O-line
@@JamesSkrmetta we will see. Saints should be rolling with Kubiak this year.
I love 💕 with the saints doing at o line I think they one year away from being the 09 line of old
Sports entertainment, its rigged 😤
Staying healthy is my only concern.
yes it very bad weather here to down the bayou
Fuaga will be an all pro as a rookie, mark it down
The head coach and mickey Loomis
OFFENSIVE LINE!!!!!!!!!
I know this may sound crazy, but I actually like that Tackle the Saints drafted in the 7th round
He'll need some time to develop. Slim chance he gets playing time this year.
James- I’m not sure we can unload ANYONES contract (cept Latti) due to the can kicking and back loading.
We can always unload a contract… financial ramifications - here we come!
How?
Nathan Peterman i can't believe that guy is still in the nfl ,he wont make the final cut,guy is terrible 😂🤦🤦
He’s just a coach in pads
Biggest concern: Dennis Allen
WTF made us sign Carr in the first like if we didn’t sign him we could’ve tank and got us a cj or Bryce or Richardson like I need my saints to use there brain
Biggest concern is whether KK can improve the QB and offensive plan.
D will be fine, secondary will likely be league best
