Hey! At first I was leaning towards the before look but after you showed the side part I must agree that the trim was much improved! I didn’t remember at first but I cut layers to my loc’s during my 2nd year, my hair had a nice round shape but I didn’t like the longer look smack in the middle of my back so just over a month ago I asked my hubby to help me trim it. It looks great even though I forgot to have him cut it at an angle. I’ve got a few loose ends that are just now coming back together. Your hair is so much longer and fuller than when you started out! Great job!! 😊 and thanks for the videos! They’re so helpful!

Lint is inevitable for me. I had issues with it as a loose natural. Knotting and lint in the back. I have fine 4c hair. At the beginning of my journey, I was redoing my locs in the back for the first couple of months. I checked them regularly, and there was always lint. I finally just said forget it. I use a satin pillowcase, satin head wrap, and have a leather couch. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Been with you since day 1. My one daughter and I are also 4 years in and she has thick and golden hair just like yours 😊 My other daughter is 2 years in, had to wait for her to grow up a little. I do all of our reties and we couldn't be happier. I thoroughly enjoy your content

Wow your hair is still looking gorgeous. You’re doing a fabulous job maintaining your hair. I did my own retie once . It wasn’t bad long as you’re entertained with music or watching something. I do plan on getting more experience doing my own hair. In case I actually move out of state or internationally. Can’t be so dependent on anyone else then. 😀👌🏾
