whewww, chile. God bless your hands and may He continue to bless you with patience and impeccable skill. You da real MVP.
That means so much to me coming from you! thank you!!
This is literally the best DIY I have seen! That grid is snatched!!!
Thank you! Are there any things youd like me to cover in a video?
It’s always SO good to see your face and witness your uplifting energy! Totally made my day and I couldn’t wait to click on your video. God bless on your PA school journey!
Maybe the itchiness is from the aloe vera. I usually remove the toxic yellow residue that causes irritation before I use the plant. Just cut the white base of the leaf and submerge it in a cup of water overnight. Water will turn cloudy. Then you can use it the next day.
You still got that GREAT GRID! CONGRATS!
They are looking better and better. Nice job
Thank you for your kind words 🙏
Ooh all the “healths” and hair freedom are what I’m after. Thank you for posting. I’m about to go do battle with these parts to prep for my install.
I love watching your loc journey. Thanks for the update. I'm 1yr and 5mo in with my locs and I don't regret it at all. I wish I would have locked my hair sooner.
I feel exactly the same!
Tamala your hair looks beautiful! Love the color
I'm thinking about locking mine too
@@BBaaaaa you won't regret it.
Thanks for being so generous and showing us all how you did this beautiful style!
Thanks to you, I’ll be starting my journey around new year! ☺️💕
I started my microlocs a week ago, you’ve inspired me so much☺️
Aww thank you for reaching out and dm me on IG if you have any questions
Love that you self retie. I don't self retie but you give me encouragement if I want to do it one day. ✨
Great video as always Queen. I’m in love with your locs and especially the natural colour of your hair. I got excited when your video popped up lol. I hope your taking it easy with school as I know you mentioned it was challenging. Looking forward for more videos on your hair and in general (when you can of course 🙃).
I'm sooo happy I found your channel. I really wanna install my own mircolocks. I was gonna do two strand twist. But I'm gonna try interlocking.
Thank you so much for sharing!
I hope you keep sharing your microloc updates as your hair continues to mature
Your journey is inspiring & your locs are gorgeous!!
Thanks for sharing. Always look forward to your videos 'cos there's always some useful info to learn. Wishing you continued health and happiness.
I always look forward to your videos, you inspired me to start documenting my loc journey as well 🥺
I'd love to see how they stretch. I know your hair was SUPER long. It definitely looks longer.
I like the aloe vera gel tutorial
Thank you for watching!
@@QueenEleem you are welcome
@@QueenEleem How do you keep your aloe fresh, I've made my own the way you demonstrated but two days in it starts to smell horrible 😫
Beautiful locs! Will you make a video about your diet. Thought I heard you say you're plant based now?
I’ve considered it! If you’d like to hear then I’d love to share!
Love the video, you mentioned a lot of great points!! Especially the low manipulation post retie 🦋 &Your locs are giving lifee, go off ❤
Great video. Try using a spoon to get the aloe from the leaf.
You should cut the spikes off first from the aloe leaf. You can use an old stocking.
You can also put your aloe vera gel in an applicator bottle. This makes it easier to control.
Yesss i agree best hair decision ever!! 😄
How many hours to finish your retie? I missed that vid
Thanks for the info, your locks are perfect 🥰
Congratulations
I might have missed it..you retie every 3 months now?
Omg time is flying !
You're doing great!!!
Beautiful!
I love your locs🥰
Hi QueenEleem. Thank you for posting. I’m also close to my 1 and a half mark. Ironically I’ve also started using Aloe Vera in my reties. I actually use boiled linseed gel, then combine with the Aloe Vera in the blender. Totally loving your locs. How long do you take to retie your whole head now? Has the time reduced?
How long did your retie take with so much new growth?
Hey I love your hair. Have you had a lot of problems with knoting your hair when retieing it
Watching as I currently do my retie. DIYer as well #18mths #HairFreedom #NoBadHairDays
I completely agree!
Once I stopped over manipulating my hair, my hair did way better
How often do you retighten?
My target for retightening is 5-6 weeks bc my hair grows slowly. Any longer weakens my loc
Dope
Girl you are going through a lot of effort. I just scoop it with a spoon into a the strainer let it sit then press the left over. But I just buy the juice from the pharmacy for my spray bottle.
Any advice for frizzy locs? I am 6 months into my microloc journey and some of my locs have little tufts of hair peeking out. I wondering if the frizz ever settles into the loc or if a repair is needed.
That’s stage 2 congrats! Don’t mess w it. Just let it be! Your hair won’t start settling until 1-3 years post install.
@@QueenEleem Thanks so much for answering!! I feel better now :)
How long does it take to retighten
About how long does it take you to retighten from start to finish? I have yet to just it done it all at once lol
I dont know in hours. Maybe next time I will count my hours spent! I usually just chill on my couch watching movies after studying for a few hours over the course of a week.
@@QueenEleem That makes sense. I honestly do the same, and may take a few days in between depending on my workload.
❤supreme
Suggestion: look for fast hair growth shampoo to double hair growth.
I never thought to use gel while retightening my hair, does it make it last longer? Or does it help it loc better?
It helps me pick up the stray hairs
How many locs do you have?
Over 600
You should cut the spikes off first from the aloe leaf. You can use an old stocking.
