You're even more lovely with your hair down.
Congratulations ❤ you are amazing!!! I’ve loved watching your videos and seeing the hike through another’s eyes!
Okay not going to make fun of someone's mental issues but that is one funny ass story to tell about your through hike!
Congratulations!!! Watched your journey, so happy for you. you are a Champion my friend .... all the best, thank you ...🙃
Finally getting to watch this! Thanks for sharing. I am hoping to hike the Long Trail next summer as a slow hiker myself. It would be awesome to hike some of it together!
Hey Rissa, enjoying your AT thru hike and yeah a little late huh. Referred to you by #2 pencil whom I also watched his hike of the AT. I'm only around vlog 61 but just wanted to tell you how impressed I am with you. Your pre prep, gear choices and awesome deals on sites I had never heard of. But mostly it's just the person that you are ; so kind, honest and raw and I now know that you'll probably be crying and possibly singing in every episode. It'll take me awhile but I will, like you eventually get through your thru hike. Best wishes on your hopes, dreams and life aspirations. You're such a lovely young lady!
I hope to hike NH this summer, not in the winter. Need to get one leg to cooperate better than it currently is.
At least you don't have to look for snakes.
You did it!!! Congratulations, you have incredible determination and perseverance. I hope that you carry this accomplishment forever. 💗
It’s not winter until December 21. Nice video! Your enthusiasm is great!
Awesome you got to experience winter hiking. It's my first winter in NH also and I've been exploring the trails near Mt Sunapee. Such beauty.
Looks awesome thank you for sharing! Have fun with the skiing deal for sure
What a wonderful hike. The landscapes and nature is so beautiful here. Nice with a littel snow. 😊😊😊
Best wishes to you in this new phase of your life. Should we still call you "Mosey" or are you Marissa now? Whatever, it is so good to see that smile that we've grown to love.
Very beautiful scenery. Hiking is very good. Great video, thanks a lot for sharing.
Marissa, I'm so glad you found something interesting to do after the AT, and I look forward to following your winter adventures. Can't wait to see you become a skier!!
you go young lade
The snow is beautiful!
Exciting new stage of your life.
So beautiful! Thanks Rissa 😊
Congrats on the new job and best of luck with the summer job search. 😊
Small world I climbed that mountain a few years ago when my daughter was at soccer camp. It was called camp merriwood and it's close to the mountain. If you are a soccer player and close by might be someplace to check for a summer job
That looks like an awesome day for a winter hiking adventure! Thanks for sharing the beautiful views. ❤
Congrats on the new job!
Great news...
So nice to hear how you are doing and to see you enjoying all that NH has to offer. Someday you need to come to upstate NY and hike the Adirondack Park. It’s beautiful and massive with high peaks, crystal clear lakes, and welcoming small towns throughout.
I was so happy to sit down with my breakfast and see there was a video from you. Yay! Thank you for the beautiful footage of the snow hike although coming down off an icy mountain literally scares the heck out of me. I literally hired a personal trainer at the Y so that I could build my stamina to hike better I’m old I need the help. thrilled about your job and look forward to continue seeing you here on UA-cam you are inspiration always
Congratulations on your continuing journey! We met in March at Amicolola Falls ! I’ve followed your hiking the AT and am thrilled to see where your next steps will take you! Carpe diem!
So much fun!
I am so happy for you! Gorgeous hike. And yay Half Baked! Congratulations on the job. So fun!I wanted to move to Vermont in my 20’s but these southern boys like to stay put. 😊❤️
Well, look who posted a new video! Congratulations on the new job! It sounds like you're getting settled into New Hampshire, it's great to see you're having some success in that regard. Winter can be seriously challenging, not only with hiking. It looked like you were having some fun up in the mountains and had some great views to top it off. So far this "winter", it's not technically yet but it was 22°F last night and we've had temperatures in the low 10s here and that qualifies as winter to me. I actually slept outside last night and several nights over the past month or so trying to determine my comfort cutoff and with wearing a mesh base layer, a 250 weight merino wool mid layer, merino buff, a beanie, and a light puffy inside my quilt. I now know 20°F is my absolute winter comfort cutoff with the gear I currently have. I don't know that I'll ever actually hike in weather where it's expected to get down to 20°F, but I think a person should know the limitations of their equipment before setting off on a hike where there may be nowhere to run, nowhere to hide from the cold. Please keep that in mind before doing any winter backpacking. It's great to see your smiling face again, Mosey!
Nice to see again 🫠 o yea that looks super safe, lol. beautiful views, tho. Glad to see you back 🥰
It was good seeing you hiking. Thanks for sharing.
You should check out Loon Mountain Ministries
Great seeing you back online, Mosey! I viewed a portion of your Q&A and then life got in the way. If I may say, you look happy. Your exuberant smile, shiny eyes and rosy cheeks, tell the tale of someone content moving forward. Yes, the trail has changed you. I recall the semi-meek young woman prior to the start of your hike. I remember the hurting feet, the tears, and the falls. YOU are a survivor! You are part of that 25% that completed the trail in 2024. Definitely something to be posted within your resume. When I write, "Keep Trekking", I mean keep trekking with life. There is so much of it to live! Take care. Be happy. I/We look forward to more of your updates and videos. Until then, Happy Holidays!!
Hey, good to see a new video. I was a bit burnt out from posting content but am finally getting some post-hike videos done. I don't want you to think I am like a creepy stalker... but we do have some similar things going on. :) I am moving. I will be in New England. In talks with a real estate agent this week. We often crossed paths on the AT. Maybe we will see you on some local trails. :) I am amused that I also follow fellow hiker Hiking Dancer who just moved to Vermont.
@4:27 you can see the eclipse in the lens flare.
I was gonna say you should meet up with Nahamsha sometime. but wasn’t sure if she was somewhere close to you wherever you’re staying.
I like that you did it at your own pace. I am just getting back into hiking. I go really slow I’m dealing with some intermittent atrial fib relation, so I get short path from time to time you have to take extra quick little breaks just to catch my breath when that happens. But as far as I’m concerned, as long as I’m out and walking or hiking and being in the fresh air and not sitting, anything is good and it’s enjoyable. Enjoying them in the woods the hikes the trails even spending time with you in your own thoughts can really help the soul.

You’re going to love New Hampshire.
You’re going to love New Hampshire.
Wonderful Q and A! Glad you are healthy and happy, Very Best of Luck to you!!
Since you are in NH you may want to look up "Taylor the Nahamsha Hiker" who has done the AT and hikes around NH.
Just after I type that I get to the point in the video where you mention her!
I missed the live, sorry. I really enjoyed it. I wish you the best of luck, and a job comes up soon. Please keep us updated!
hi rissa
I'm glad you've got new rock climbing and skiing goals, and new lenses of flexibility for looking at life with. 😊 Looking forward to watching your journey forward from here!
Now that I've had a chance to go back and watch the beginning part of your livestream, I have another question. Where is your AT tag hanging?
Currently it is still on my pack! I do plan on taking the little souvenirs I have from trail and making a wall hanging out of them.
Whoa Rissa! We have a lot to catch up on with your vids. A move to NH, so happy for you. We are close to your hometown and was hoping to connect to talk Berry College and here you are in NH. 😂 Good for you girl! Keep on adventuring!!
I prepared an Excel spreadsheet of each of your videos with the date, the miles traveled, and the location. This was helpful for me to remember which videos I wanted to rewatch, and to make sure that I saw ALL OF THEM. I really enjoyed keeping track of them this way, and if you'd like me to forward you this spreadsheet for your own records, just Respond YES
Wow that's a lot of work! I appreciate it, but I should be good as I have records I kept while on trail.
