By walking the AT the way you did, you had a different but fabulous experience. Most hikers do not get to see the beauty of fall as you do. Thank you for sharing your journey. It's great to see you in Connecticut as it is the state I hiked this summer. Familiar landscapes, although different colors!
I have read about that section of Connecticut with the Riverwalk. I would love to do that. I think it’s just about my speed 😊 such exciting times ahead! Thrilled for you! And thanks for sharing about your video call with the boys.🎉
Loved the story about the box privy, especially since you had a good deal of concern about those issues back in your early videos :) Congrats on another 14.7 miles!!
First, let me say, congratulations on the offer of a place to stay while you figure out where to go after the AT. You're a very engaging, obviously intelligent young lady and I'm sure you're going to have several opportunities as you go forward. I have always assumed, with the trail being what it is, and especially for those hiking within the bubble that there would likely be instances of body exposure pretty much regardless of the precautions taken. Also, seeing some of the free-spirits that hike the trail, I don't know if they're too concerned with body exposure/nudity. I can understand both the people who choose to hike the trail multiple times and those who don't. Some people fall in love with the trail and the culture surrounding it. For others, it is/was an accomplishment in their lives, but now it's time to move on with their lives... especially for most of the younger hikers who don't have infinite means of finances to do multiple hikes of the trail. Much different for older hikers who have retirement and/or social security income. Everybody's situation is different. Hike your own hike, Mosey! That doesn't mean only the AT.
well it is not like she has no where to go after the trail. She can always come home like she has before when she was deciding what to do. She will be home until she decides what direction to go. She just doe not want to live in this little rinky dink town she grew up in. I have to say I have said I hate this town with nothing in it. i have to admit with all the crime and craziness now, I have no problem living in a mostly quiet town
I see you’re excited about a fun opportunity. You’re young enough to check out many pursuits and adventures. Nice you got to chat with the boys and a few others on trail. I think your flip flop has been the best! That privy story was weird lol. Gorgeous day.😊❤
Not in the DC/MD/VA area,.. there's talks of reducing the federal workforce, and moving others out of the region. So,.. yeah, that's gonna hurt that area if that happens.

Can't believe you have less than 180 to go here, and that you're even closer to finishing IRL! What a seriously amazing adventure

PCT is a Rollercoaster with mostly smooth trail at the Southern end

Nice views. Safe travels.
Sounds like a nice day! You are so close! So cool to hear of a possible and exciting venture!

Great Day, great hike! Good Luck tomorrow.
CT river walking is great
Not catching Capt Jack. He is halfway through NJ.
You still have Lookout mountain trail here 😅
Should be a large selection of jobs since the election is over now. Hopefully you will get what you want

@schmitzcj I'm speaking of the south were we are
@Mm-un3jo ahhh that's right, Mosey is from the south. Sorry, didn't put two-n-two together.
