Marissa, please be sure to let Ramdino know when you finish! Even if you haven't been checking in with him all along, he still likes to give recognition to finishers for the benefit of the entire hiking community.
And I, for one, would love to see you recognized when you finish. Send him a short video, or at least a picture 🙂
I had company and am several days behind. Will binge tonight on your videos!!

The final count down! (Play song here). Your journey has been amazing to follow. Thank you for sharing every day. I have a guess as to what your after trail early life will be. Could be a return to Vermont or …….. as you have all ready finished by now, will just have to wait a week to find out. No matter what your plan, you have shared a fantasist life journey! Nice to meet you and will always remember your beautiful smile and warm heart. Thank you from Idaho.
Note; you made it through the lemon squeezer. Lived in that area in 1960 and my parents took us hiking for the weekend. At 5, I would not go through those rocks as I was going to be “squeezed” . Amazing what one remembers from your childhood. You made it through! 😀 A bit more than the just the squeezers !

My little tramily spent three or four nights at Lake Greenwood because one of them got food poisoning. The good part was that one of our tramily members didn't live far from there and his dad brought out his boat for a his birthday and we spent the day tubin on the lake. Good times!

What an interesting variety of hiking surfaces. You had a little bit of everything on this one except for a long climb or long decent.
I have gone to a pump water filter, mainly because of where I live in Indiana is farm country with a lot of chemical runoff from the fields and the pump filter has both a carbon filter which will capture chemicals, then a hollow fiber filter that will remove the bugs. An advantage it has for a situation like you ran into with the rock wall is the pickup is on a hose that is about 2.5-3' away from the actual filter and it may have been able to reach without having to deal too much with the wall. The down side is it weighs 13 oz. Kinda heavy compared to other options.
Yep, as far as hiking companions, you've had some interesting experiences, in and out of tramilies and hiking alone, but I'm willing to bet you've met some people who will turn out to be lifelong friends. Only time will tell in that regard though. I think you've had a very interesting time on trail, it's kept me interested over the months. You've been an interesting documentarian/narrator with an engaging personality which has kept me around over time.
    Mosey on!

I hate surprise controlled burns. Last time i ran into one i had coincidentally been listening to Cold Missouri Water and reading about the Mann Gulch Fire. I figured out it was controlled in a few minutes but i was freaking out at first
