Body recomp has been very popular lately. The scientific literature regarding the matter is still abit conflicting however. Some body types (ex: skinny fat) could benefit from recomping instead of cutting. Maybe its a video idea. Goodluck!

Not a professional but milk is a great source of protein. Easy and cheap calories. Chose full fat or 3.5% fat milk. Milk powder newei fresh milk. Add peanut butter for additonal calories and protein. Ground oats would be good too if you can find them.
