400 mcg k2 vitamin for 4 months. and im no longer on high blood pressure medication. started taking it after hearing new research that it lowers risk of heart attack and strokes. apparantly it also reduces blood pressure
Thanks, first thing the doctor did was whip out the prescription pad and wrote 3 prescriptions, and not once in 3 months ever suggested to find out why. I never took the prescriptions and started seeking holistic natural alternatives and so grateful I was introduced to your page. Everything you presented I went from a 176 over 94 to 140 over 88 in just the breathing exercise, and since increasing my potassium and magnesium it's gotten better.
I had high blood pressure from my early 20s been taking medication for 25 years, keto diet. Intermittent fasting and keto vitals. Cured me 100% no longer take any medication and feel amazing. Do it.!
So great to hear--its really encouraging for those of us who feel absolutely helpless. How long before your blood pressure normalized? Also. what's your intermittent fasting schedule?
I am so happy to have seen this video. I've just had a consultation with a cardiologist. He attempted to get me on medications for blood pressure and blood thinners, saying I'm at a high risk of stroke and heart attack. I have atrial fibrillation. I had chest pains after the consultation as he scared me so much. I am so very grateful to you, Dr. Berg, you are very thorough, and I tend to believe you more than I do the consultants. I have natural blood thinners by taking garlic cloves. I take potassium and magnesium supplements and vitamin d3. I have spinach and moringa juice daily and have started acv in water before meals.. if I went on blood thinners I'd have to stop the natural remedies. Thank you so very much 🎉🎉🎉 ❤
I'm 66 and had the same scare last year, the cardiologist put me on meds and things got worse, especially in my legs. Followed Dr Berg's suggestions but also addressed my hypertension by listening to a meditation at least once daily (there are lots of them on You Tube), this made all the difference in combination. good luck.
Beside these recommendations in the video try Strauss drops for heart. They did wonders for my heart and my calcium coronary score . Blood pressure and lipids. It took me 2 larger bottles , 3 times a day 2.5ml drops.
@josephgiri2398 Same age as me! I was told anyone over 65 should be on blood thinners. Apparently, I'm very high risk. My total cholesterol is 4.7. Blood sugar is normal. Liver and kidney profile normal. I'm overweight, but a year on prednisone caused that. It also caused episodes of atrial fibrillation to increase. I was told I have high blood pressure. it's usually 123/73 unless I visit the consultants, and then it goes high. Also I'm an O blood group. I've read that we're the least likely to develop blood clots, but will suffer with inflammation, which I do. Very happy to have Dr Berg to turn to on UA-cam . He's a very gifted man. Wish you well too.....
I have often had very high and dangerous blood pressure swings. Now if it happens I immediately take beetroot juice. I take black tea, black garlic capsules every day. Also hawthorn capsules and olive leaf extract which regulate the ratio between maximum and minimum pressure. I keep control with Vit. D3 +K2, magnesium citrate, potassium, omega-3, light diet, lots of vegetables, seasonal fruit. NEVER SALT! A wish of good health to everyone from Sardinia-Italy. 👋
Absolutely, mental stress and overthinking can significantly impact blood pressure. The role of the mind in contributing to hypertension is often underestimated, but managing psychological stress is just as crucial as addressing physical factors.
Pretty sure that is my problem. I’ve never been overweight. I’ve struggled with panic attacks as long I can remember. I’ve even had to be hospitalized a few times because of them.
I had high blood pressure for years, I started intermittent fasting, stopped all sugars, and supplemented with all the vitamins Dr. Berg suggested to help with psoriasis and it worked, but to my surprise my BP went to normal..I was floored and excited..
When have you did all this ? Because the video was posted 5 hours ago . In 5 hours have you get all this vitamins and have you seen a conclusion also ? And everything in 5 hours ? Are you kidding ?
Awesome! May I ask how much Potassium and Magnesium you take? Is it via supplements or food or a combo? I already take D3 and K2, but I’m clearly low on magnesium and potassium. Thanks in advance!

I'm 56. That's another reason why I started your healthy keto plan over 2 years ago. I suffered with high blood pressure for 25 years of my life, and it never seemed to come down in numbers, always feeling tired and lethargic. I feel so much better now that I'm off all prescription medications. I personally self-discipline myself without any doctors approval. A risk that I took and became successful at doing. My results have been remarkable! Thank you, Dr. Berg, for all your great information and wisdom!!!!!

One thing that I’d like to share is Sleep Apnea.. there’s a lot of people who have it and don’t know they do.. if you feel tired during the day or even if you have High Blood Pressure.. you should take a Sleep Apnea test.. it can literally save your life.. while you sleep you stop breathing and your body fights to save your life and start breathing again… and that affects your heart so much..leading to High Blood Pressure..
@@patriciaboatman8423 I’m not saying everyone should get them .. I’m just saying if you feel tired all the time and have high blood pressure then maybe you might want to look into that possibility.. In the last two days, I watched several videos about hi blood pressure from your youtube chanel, to create a summary that can be given to friends who suffer from diabetes with high blood pressure. With this video, the correlation between diabetes and high blood pressure becomes clearer. The solution is looks the same as the old video. Thank you Doc ❤
Here’s what I found every time I go to the doctor my blood pressure is elevated but when I go to give blood, it’s normal found out that when they’re checking my blood pressure they’re not keeping my arm even with my heart so every time I check my blood if I put it with the arm laying on the counter even with my heart, my blood pressure is normal. If I drop it down to the side, it goes up. They need to learn how to check blood pressure properly. That’s the first thing.
Yeah. But I've been trying keto versions of things. Such as organic almond flour and ground organic dates instead of artificial sweetners when baking. Also Ceylon organic cinnamon is GREAT for you!! Add it to coffee etc. 😊😊
I’ve been on hypertension & diabetes tablets for years but even though I’ve had gastric surgery and changed my diet and lost weight, I still have the same problems. I’ll try these changes and update later at some stage. Thank you Dr. 👍🏾🙏🏽🇬🇧💕
Excellent video thank you Dr. Berg. I don’t know of any doctor in the UK that would even tell their patients these facts and with such clarity and in an empathetic manner. You are Gods gift to us all ❤
The best explaination on the root causes HBP on the net I've come across so far. I was aware of some of this and others not. This definitely pulled everything together for me.
A study was shown that sugar is a bigger culprit to high blood pressure than sodium. Those in the study (i.e. nine days) were allowed to maintain their daily sodium level as usual while minimizing their sugar level. At the end of the ninth day, all the participants had a substantial decrease in their blood pressure. I mimicked that study personally and had the similar result. Mimick the study for yourself.
High blood pressure does run high in my family. From my mom, my aunt, my older brother, and my two older sisters. 😩 After watching this video, I'll buy d3+k2 offf of Amazon.
It runs in my family too and though we all are running freaks, its STILL HIGH. It's kind of a no brainer. It's NOT the lack of cardio that lowers blood pressure.

@@Drberg Excellent presentation! A question….On your final 'whiteboard', on the left you have 'No Calcium' in a large circle. What’s the significance of that in the context of your summary? @49ers_red_and_gold2 I was diagnosed with hypertension in July. My measurement in the ER was 255/115. I'm now on calcium channel blockers and doing better but I hate having to be on meds. I'd rather just take care of the root cause and live naturally. We are only 38. That's too young to be having these issues lol
@@Glee_Anna It's great that you're feeling better on calcium channel blockers, but I understand your desire to address the root cause and manage it more naturally. Hypertension at a younger age can sometimes feel overwhelming, but focusing on lifestyle changes like diet, exercise, stress management, and supplements can help you regain control. You might want to explore options like reducing sodium, increasing potassium, optimizing vitamin D and magnesium levels, and even considering a low-carb diet as discussed in the video. Are you currently making any lifestyle adjustments to complement your medication?
I'm struggling with high BP. The medication I take for it is having a number of undesirable side effects. I've led an otherwise very healthy lifestyle for most of my life, but I've been at a loss to figure out a natural way to get my BP under control. Even when I had verified high Vit D levels I still have HBP. Then I found out my home tester is junk. Now I've lost weight, eat better, get my D, exercise and have stopped testing my HBP at all. I' feel fantastic and I'll just go with that and hope for the best.
Thank you Dr berg for all the content you share with us. About two years ago I had hysterectomy and after that I started having high blood pressure and feeling fatigue all the time. I searched some of Dr bergs videos about hypertension and started adding Dr bergs’ electrolyte powder to my water, increased the amount of V3, after that my blood pressure went back to normal and no longer feel tired or fatigue.
I was on Amlodipine 10 mg (Calcium blocker). My BP was still a bit high. Now I drink Hibiscus tea daily. I take half the tablet and my BP is much lower. Also, instead of "normal" salt I use Celtic salt with minerals.
I'm in my sixties so my whole life I've felt locked out from the necessary health and nutritional info needed to manage myself and my body... the internet, Dr berg and other Drs have given the world the necessary knowledge for FREE and I thank you!!!!! ❤

What's your intermittent fasting schedule
YES SOO WHAT IS YOUR INTERMITTENT FASTING SCHEDULE
Really
Please help out on how you did
I am so happy to have seen this video.
Followed Dr Berg's suggestions but also addressed my hypertension by listening to a meditation at least once daily (there are lots of them on You Tube), this made all the difference in combination. good luck.
Exactly
Beside these recommendations in the video try Strauss drops for heart. They did wonders for my heart and my calcium coronary score . Blood pressure and lipids. It took me 2 larger bottles , 3 times a day 2.5ml drops.
Lumbrokinase is also a good natural blood thinner, which also removes biofilms that some bacteria hide behind.
@josephgiri2398
Same age as me!
I lost 40 lbs. doing keto (no exercise) and no longer have high blood pressure (or diabetes, sleep apnea, GERD, fatty liver, etc.)
How to you take potassium. Where can I get
Sometimes it's not deficiency in anything, if you overthink things, your mind can cause this to happen as well. The mind is something so overlooked.
Absolutely, mental stress and overthinking can significantly impact blood pressure. The role of the mind in contributing to hypertension is often underestimated, but managing psychological stress is just as crucial as addressing physical factors.
Lack of sleep also
Pretty sure that is my problem. I’ve never been overweight. I’ve struggled with panic attacks as long I can remember. I’ve even had to be hospitalized a few times because of them.
@@cecee3480 Look into the Wim Hof Method and stick to it.
This is me in a nutshell. Blood pressure skyrockets during times of stress.

I'm 64 and had high BP and type 2.
After low carb and no sugar,
And walking regularly both are gone and I feel better than I have in years.
Thanks Doc.
Great info.
Dr Berg, you are amazing!! My husband and I have been following you for almost a year. We were both morbidly obese and started listening and following your advice in addition to intermittent fasting. My husband has lost over 130 lbs and I have lost over 80 lbs.
I am (with doctors advise) and now in the process of coming OFF of my blood pressure medication.
We take your supplements and bothe FEEL GREAT!!!
We can't thank you enough ♡♡♡♡♡
Well done Susie.
Possibly. But the dress around here would put 95% of people on those sleeping mask. I think they are majorly abusing this
@@patriciaboatman8423 I’m not saying everyone should get them .. I’m just saying if you feel tired all the time and have high blood pressure then maybe you might want to look into that possibility.. I got diagnosed wit it and my Step dad told me that he would see me asleep sometimes and not breath and then gasp for air.. he was even afraid that I’d stop breathing.. he said this after I got diagnosed..
@@patriciaboatman8423 and it makes sense.. if you stop breathing and your body is fighting for air.. imagine standing and making a fist and trying to force yourself making a harder fist and harder and harder.. I think that might affect your blood pressure 😂 ok imagine some people doing that struggle 10 times or more every hour they’re asleep.. even if I don’t know .. I’d take that bet that it affects your Blood Pressure significantly 🤷🏻♂️
I am getting one next month because I snoree
@@jaylenebiesemans5855 but yeah like one of the people in the comments said .. make sure that’s what you have .. they also told me that if you loose weight it might help you get rid of or better your sleep apnea.. Good Luck 👍

Can you explain clearly plz
Sir,
I am from India living in Singapore. your information excellent. Thank you 🙏
That's awesome! I'm glad you found the information helpful.
I completely agree. Almost no one knows how to do it properly and they have no understanding of cuff size either.
God bless people like Dr. Berg. Happy Friday everyone :)
Thank you and same to you!
Vitamin D has been a massive help in my life thanks to you! Thank you, always and good morning!
It's so damn hard to get away from carbs but it just takes the right mindset

Glad to know that you liked this post!
The best explaination on the root causes HBP on the net I've come across so far. I was aware of some of this and others not. This definitely pulled everything together for me.
Wow, could you imagine a life where everyone was educated like this by there doctors and not just medicated?
A study was shown that sugar is a bigger culprit to high blood pressure than sodium. Those in the study (i.e. nine days) were allowed to maintain their daily sodium level as usual while minimizing their sugar level. At the end of the ninth day, all the participants had a substantial decrease in their blood pressure. I mimicked that study personally and had the similar result. Mimick the study for yourself.
Wow! where can I find info about the study?
High blood pressure does run high in my family. From my mom, my aunt, my older brother, and my two older sisters. 😩 After watching this video, I'll buy d3+k2 offf of Amazon.
It runs in my family too and though we all are running freaks, its STILL HIGH. It's kind of a no brainer. It's NOT the lack of cardio that lowers blood pressure.
Please, make sure the K2 is MK-7, that's the natural form of K2. Personally, I take 10.000 IU D3 and 200 mcg K2 MK-7. Take care.
Add magnesium to that list
Probably becoz of eating unhealthy food
Add potassium and Magnesium. Jarrow is a good brand.

You are absolutely right , I’ve gone through all different doctors to try to find out the cause of my high BP, but no one cares , I went to a hyper tension clinic ,and all they did was change my meds, I asked about the lack of Vit D, could I get tested , their answer was , it has nothing to do with it , it was my old age., thank you for educating us so we can be advocates for our own health , if we relied on these so called experts , we would die at an early age !
No problem. Glad to share content that can help you all. Stay safe and healthy!
@@Drberg Excellent presentation! A question….On your final 'whiteboard', on the left you have 'No Calcium' in a large circle. What’s the significance of that in the context of your summary? Amongst other things, I take 800mg of Ca in a tablet, but also take 2,000mg of Magnesium L-Threonate to balance it. My diet is 95% Paleo. Do you suggest I NOT take Ca in supplements i.e. "No Calcium"?
Medical school doesn't teach them causes or cures, only medications, basically.
I don't have a Dr because I keep getting fired as a patient because I want blood work for my levels 🤷🏼♀️ Im young and apparently they don't like being asked questions either.

@Glee_Anna wow, I was diagnosed in August of last year.
