"you can't teach speed, that comes from here" - man that was good, great delivery
Piotr Mitrega it’s a great joke but old. He recycled a lot of jokes.
I don’t get it
@@Jimmyboygohome it is situational joke, scene like from all the boxing movies, c'mon man, you don't get it?
Timing beats speed. Wait until he's having a seizure and punch his teeth in
@Jassen Michael you know, for someone who trash talks Anthony, you sure post a lot on his clips as you're still watching different clips. Way to go, douche 👍🏻
Jeselnik always speaks really REALLY slow, the speed is correct lol
or maybe everyone else just talks really fast.....
You can tell Steven Wright was a big influence on him.
That's what makes his delivery so funny IMO
He does that to get you thinking about what he's gonna say before he takes a complete u-turn... He's genius
Exactlyyyyy! When he said he made the decision to go with dad I literally lost it laughing because he U-Turned me. Great stuff.
Anthony Jeselnik heard a dead baby joke as a kid, and was like, “Yeah. That’s the type of comedy I wanna do, just not so tame.”
I never saw my dad hit my mother .....he was too quick lol
He’s got the most powerful silence in comedy
No........No he really does not. On a side note what rock you been hiding under?
No. Try Mark Normad. The guys talk really fast, but the spacing is incrediblr.
I was gonna like but I'm not gonna ruin the 666
That's actually not true
Jesus Christ, people. The man can have a fucking opinion.
Why does his comedy seem more harsh with a beard
1. Because now he looks old enough to know better...
2. Because he shapes it like The Devil's beard.
DeeJay VEVO 😅
From a NY Times article quoting a behavioral psychologist on beards: "...both sexes judge men with beards as older and more masculine, and describe them as generous, sincere, industrious and self-confident." It's probably that "sincere and generous" part that plays into not expecting such a joke from Anthony Jeselnik.
@@jolly_wally oh so you're saying is like being roasted by a younger pre white beard Santa Claus I can see how that would hit harder LOL good research
@@thebonecollections4478 Lemme chime in here, and try to not bunch me up with those other people. It's actually true that we see guys with beards as more authoritative and stern. So that's probably why you view him more harsh. You pretty much confirmed it yourself. You view him differently with a beard.
"Interestingly, they found that participants were quicker to classify the angry bearded photos than other types of photos, suggesting that beards enhance visual cues associated with anger recognition. They also found that participants were quicker to classify clean-shaven faces as happy.
"

Anthony Jeselnik speaks like a young Christopher Walken.
NicholasLAranda ~LOL. He reminds me a lot of Steven Wright.
@@GodBlessedAmerica couldn't agree more, similar comedic styles for sure.
Literally bout to say that lol
Yung walkin
Do not ever bring up Christopher Walken and Anthony Jeselnik in the same sentence
Hear me out - John Malkovich.
Title: The setup
Thumbnail: The punchline
Thanks, Netflix.
They should really stop doing that
right? 😂 yea lets spoil the joke
Should fire the thumbnail guy
I hate how funny this guy is 😂 feels good to laugh feels bad knowing your going straight to hell for it 😂🤷🏽♂️
Well hell does not exist so, there ya go
Yeah, hell is an imaginary place, but grammar definitely isn't imaginary.
@@Tcrror I mean, technically grammar is made up.
This is hell
Welcome to the dark side my friend. We have cookies and coffee every Wednesday.
I love how he keeps a straight face the whole time 😂
His delivery is so alien to me😍loving it
He delivers jokes like threats in a back alley.
Everything about his standup is super alien!!! He has carved out an amazing and unique niche. NOBODY writes jokes or delivers them like he does. I would say his joke writing is some of the best and most clever in comedy history!!! He will go down as one of the greatest to ever do it.....
Raymond Newbill 100%
"Sounds like mom needs some alone time" LMAO
The master of misdirection
That's all he does. Becoming zzz
@@Aman1012 damn oh no sucks that the only comedian out there is becoming boring to you. It's not like there's thousands of other comedians for you to watch if you don't like his brand of humor.
@@Aman1012 Name a comedian that doesn't stick to a specific type of humor.
His delivery is absolutely perfect, just fantastic😂
I absolutely love the Parkinson’s joke sooo much!!!
“Sounds like mom needs some alone time.”
His jokes are based on that you think he is going in one direction and he does a 180 on you.
This guy's even funnier when I'm drunk
Different kind of laugh when you're drunk, though, isn't it? More like an evil cackle.
Okay. I'll say it. He's handsome as hell.
Nope, he's a noodle doodle with ears . Have you seen him with no facial hair?
@@samuelmmmk181 So, not to your taste, huh?
There's a reason i clicked on this video
Totally!
Dude is objectively an attractive man. It makes his dark jokes all the funnier.
"My sister had a baby to save the relationship, but I still don't talk to her."
Lucky sister.
@@mcdpdrz Damn! Somebody just did 😭
@Orange Blossom 😂 Right??!
I actually laughed at that because I can relate. Clearly you think everyone is perfect. I can assure you that nobody is.
@@picklejho69 Wait, hold up - you can relate to that joke...? 😳
@@rustinstardust2094 What? Can't you? What a miserable family you must've grown up in.
His bait and switch is like Kareem’s skyhook, highly predictable but still unguardable every time #goat
That is textbook joke writing, masterclass
Scott Thompson master in anti-punch lines , plot twist writing
he was a writer for major tonight's show back at the time. Guys a senior comedy writer.
This is the comedy we need, but not the comedy we deserve.
Went to see him live, and that sister joke was the legit opener. Strong start.
"Last Sunday should of been my moms 65th birthday....but due to alcohol, drugs and horrible life choices,we all forgot it...."-my fav AJ joke.
i like the sis had a babe one the best
"There are a lot of bad jobs out there. Hell, my uncle runs a summer camp for children about to be molested!"
The opening joke is my favorite Anothony Jeselnik joke. Just captures the essence of what he's all about
*That horse is a hero😂
I thought he was making reference to the fact that the first superman also fell off a horse and became paralyzed
@@TCt83067695 That’s the point.
@@juliannajane6386 really? I thought he took it in a different direction.
Unless I'm missing something obvious
@@TCt83067695 I look at it as him adding another layer to the joke.
I’m sick in bed and laughing while crying and coughing...thank you dude!
everytime I'm ready for him he makes a 360 with that punchline 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 brilliant
He will go down as one of the most creative and clever comedians in history. Most comedians, you know where the joke is going, its just funny. This guy is funny because you NEVER know where the joke is gonna go. The punchline is a suckerpunch everytime!!!
180 you stupid idiot, by 360 will end up at the same point you started
@@miraamshah you still feel good about this weird tantrum you had?
You mean a 180. Math is hard
Anthony Jeselnik just reached daddy level with that beard 😍😍😍
i love this dude's style. totally unique. lots of one liner punch lines and plot twists. Never heard of him until last weekend when i put his special on netflix.
G13 classified check out his other specials. A master in misdirection
Jeselnik definitely isn't for everyone's taste.
Yep, he ain't no Louie...😉
Especially if you get offended easily. I personally like his style.
if youre a baby, then youre really not gonna like him
@@Tbone.357 yeah, he is better than Louie 😉
it's not that I get offended by his jokes, I just fall asleep before he ever gets to the goddamn punchline.
He's everything is inspirational to me. The way he performs, writes literally everything.
Just a flawless special. He's dark and his comedy isn't for everyone but he is a master of the misdirection joke.
“We all call the Super Man incident…because that horse is hero…” 🤣🤣🤣😂
I still can’t figure out whether the “guess I’m going with dad” or “don’t text me shit like that” is the better punchline.
"Now they're all fat as fuck" up there too
I know equally well weighted and amazing delivery. I can replay that so many times
I saw my dad's too. I see my stepmother, how small she is, and I pray for her every night.
Too much info but ok..
Weird flex but OK
This comment deserves an award.
🤣
😂😂
3:12 He's LITERALLY laughing on the inside about that one lolol
Damn man... That some next level of dark comedy. 😂👌
Damn, he looks good with a beard.
was thinking the same my friend
He looks like Ewan McGregor
You know he’s funny because the audience actually laughs instead of clapping for the jokes.
Now that’s one hell of a one-liner comedian
Love Anthony. I never know where his jokes are going. ❤😅
He is hilarious man I love the savage level of this dude
Beautiful Comedy
Omfg, the punchlines are so unexpected
This man offends me!!!
And I LOVE it!!!
This guy has been through some tough shit... and the way he's conveying it through comedy is impeccable.
BruH
-actually, he tried different types of comedy for a couple of years he told a dark joke, and everyone laughed and he figured that was the type of comedy he wanted to do plus he read a lot so he gets a lot of inspo from horror books. But heard he had a pretty normal childhood.
This man is good. Goes in unexpected direction. Unique delivery. Look forward to more of his comedy.
jeselnik has become a real mechanic...I remember when he first got on the scene, his timing was weird.....He's very funny now...
"My father is in the hospital"
Audience: *HAHAHAHAHHA*
This guy is hilarious. Love him😂
His jokes are unpredictable!!!
“The Superman Incident” I needed a minute for that one
Must be a youngster
I’m sitting here in the laundromat behind my mask and almost burst out laughing. This guy is nuts 😂
Literally 1:15 into this and he has already made me laugh more than most sets I watch. I wish he did some longer jokes as well but this set was incredible
You are unafraid! I Loved when, nearer the beginning, you tilt your head down, and gave yourself, the barest chimera of a smile.
I thought Ewan Mcgregor was doing stand up from the thumbnail.
Twist on that Superman joke 😂
Funniest comedian/person of all time.
2:50 - Alternative punchline: "I said: Dad, don't we usually do this from behind?"
Idk, his timing of the joke is perfect.
The greatest Cerebral standup of our generation.
brilliant, period. he plays on expectations and then crashes it on the rocks of the shore. king of the turnaround.. you may think it is easy but it is not so easy to do this all on stage...
how would you know?
single best black humour standup comedian :D
I first saw Jeselnik live about 3 or 4 years ago when he was touring with Amy Schumer, Nikki Glaser, and Aziz Ansari (awesome show!). I think most of us had never heard of him, so we were unprepared. He opened with his joke about finding out a bunch of sex offenders lived in his area . . . About half the audience were in shock when he hit us with the punchline, while the other half laughed like hell. :-)
Never seen this dude before hes HILARIOUS. How he keeps that face straight I'll never know.
I've seen all of his shows, he slays every time! Can't wait to see this new one
It's funny how everytime he gets you with the nice set up, then hits you with a crazy punchline
He is so hilarious I've been a big fan of his since day one and still hilarious as ever and i love how offensive he is and he gives no fucks
Bro he said “he was quick”😂😂😂😂
As a non native English speaker I really enjoy his pace! Great stuff, great delivery!😁
Sometimes he makes me laugh so hard that I forget why I’m laughing.
I'm calmer and happier than I was before this video. It's like a combination of those whispering videos that I don't know their name and stand-up comedy.
The name is....ASMR
@@PatternLand Yeah, thanks
When he can't hold him self anymore and starts to smile a little bit.. that so hilarious and enjoyable to watch.. :)))
Why would you put the punchline in the thumbnail?
DerpisaurusRex that’s not the punchline 😂 that’s the set up 😎 the punchline is the text part 😇😇
Yo my thoughts exactly.
Set up in the video title.
Punchline in the thumbnail.
Way to go Netflix, smh
@upermans it took much longer than 20 seconds to create the joke and figure how/when to tell it for the best response. I'll agree that it's not a big offense if you want to be technical like that, but it's pretty lame if you think in terms of principles.
DerpisaurusRex it’s clickbait and why most of the people clicked on the video honestly
That wasn't the punchline. The punch line is that his dad texted it to him
He is the best. Perfect timing
*Undisputed King of Dark Comedy*
This guy is an absolute GENIUS !
Are Jeselniks setts 9 hours long?
No just 1 hour, about 20 jokes
I'd watch 9 hours of this, I love his pace
You need to EPOlogize to TJ for that name...I'll see myself out.
I adjust the playback speed.
The comedic timing of this guy is simply out of this world
I'm really glad Netflix puts the setup in the title and the punchline in the thumbnail. It saves me 4:46 watching all that tedious joke telling.
See a guy like this will never get cancelled!
His look changed and I didn’t even recognize him. Until I heard his peculiar joke style and I was like ohhhhh. He looks so dang sexy like this too😍😍🥰😍
Laughing but shouldn’t be laughing is the exact description of this.
Anthony please deliver my eulogy
Dark humour is like a dead child, it never gets old.
I keep seeing this same joke, but it still makes me laugh every time.
I have got to catch this guy live
But he would do a 10min set in 30min..find another comic so you'd get more jokes lol
Bluto you think I care? Take my money Anthony
Bluto No other comics compare. Jeselnik, Bill Burr, Dave Chappell, and Louis CK are the greatest. Quality over Quantity.
I've seen him twice and it's fucking awesome.
His delivery is impeccable.
“That Superman incident” hahahah
Anthony Jeselnik can insult the fuck outta me and I'd still laugh🤩
Original fan from roast days. He's the best.
Right know, Anthony is the best running, bar none. Not since Sam Kinnison have i laughed so much. Thanks ,Anthony !
"my grandparents fought during WW2, one side for the Nazis and the badass ones, the American ones, in the US army spying for the Germans"
His delivery is gold.
Man him and louie I can rewatch and laugh like it’s the first time watching
"You Can't Teach Speed" - How true for comedy :-)
This killed. And it isn't even his best special. He's mastered the art of dark comedy.
Account name is spot on
Haha his delivery 🤣🤣🤣👏
Man, Rhett out here not lookin a day over 23
Mam this guy is great. Awesome material and delivery !
This should get more views xD
One of the best and funniest comedians out there today
