A absolute master at misdirection comedy
I was about post the same thing. Lol
“and that is NOTHING compared to what it costs to send him there”
I’d say Jimmy Carr is the master of word play jokes.
Agree 100% - I would love for him to do another special - maybe an AIDS recovery special
Here Here!!!!!
The thing I love about his comedy is I can never get where the joke is going, even when you try to he takes it somewhere even darker
Even he thought that babysitter joke was a bit too funny 🤣
I noticed that 😂
Dark humor is like a cancer ridden child...it never gets old
okay good enough
😂😂😂
bot
Dark humor is also like water. Not everyone gets it.
Dark humor is like art class for SPED kids; it’s hard to draw the line
The evolution of Anthony Jeselnik's performance skills are a testament to his experience 😀👍
That little sparkle in his eyes just before "..die a winner" 😏
Back in those days, so many children died in old refrigerators. It was when they changed handles. No more locking a frig.
There should be Vegas bets on who can guess his punchlines! So unpredictable! He's a freaking genius!!!!!!!
They'd be 1.01
@@tanz7877 That would mean they are easy to guess, so you are likely to win.
@@ramonek9109 no shit
@@tanz7877 Yes. The topic was the punchlines being unpredictable. Maybe you wanted to say that you find them predictable, but I thought you were agreeing with the commenter but got the betting system wrong. My bad.
Anthony Jeselnik should play Johnny Bravo in a live action movie!
Oml he’s got the voice
Holy shit, you’re on to something.
Omg just discovered this comedian, where was he all my life?
Throwing rocks at Jehovahs witnesses houses. :P
How old are you? I think hes been around since early 2000s
Telling jokes
He's been on a couple Comedy Central roasts, including Donald Trump and Charlie Sheen. He's been around a while.
"i like your style" 😂
In my darkest times Mr. Jeselnik went even darker - which brightened my day...like some describe the last moments of a person before death.
I know how some people feel about this guy, but I find him hilarious! I love the dark misdirection
*“I was the babysitter”* 😩😩😂💀
He is so FUNNY! Wish he had more shows.
me toooooo
Jeselnik is the comedy assassin.
Either that or a psychopath 😂
Dark comedy is like food, not everyone gets it.
I read that joke in Anthony's voice, that's how good it is😂
I have a T shirt with that line, along with Josef Stalin’s likeness.
@@AU88 LOL! Found it, ordered it👍
I found this comment to be in poor taste!
Saw his bones and all tour in pittsburgh over Thanksgiving. He's the best. Absolutely hilarious.
He’s from Pittsburgh.
How he's able to keep such a straight face...I can't even recount events with friends without laughing.
I have the feeling he could do a great Christopher Walken.
He is so warped. God I love that. I SO get his kind of humor. He is hilarious!
These jokes are so dark they almost stole my bike
His delivery is perfect. That’s why it works
This dude is absolutely hilarious.
The king. Met him leaving parking garage in Hollywood. He was cool as fuck.
Classi Jeselnik. Love this dude from the time I found him. One of my most favourites :)
Best ever! Nothing is off limits and I LOVE IT!
SICK and WRONG......in all the RIGHT ways! Love this guy!
Can someone explain the jeff is gay joke? Im too dumb to
Think it means he slept with a guy whose name he can’t remember.
First you think he doesnt know if his friend jeff is gay, but then he reveals he doesnt know if his gay friends name is jeff.
@@markjones7423that's not what he meant!!😅
@@mohe81okay but whats the joke?
My take is that for better or for worse, it’s imperative for him to find out whether someone is gay. More important than even knowing his name. Either as a deal breaker or for morbid curiosity.
One of the best comics going ...
He's genius..
Touch of Emo Phillips here - and that's a very good thing.
i like how he stares just after delivering the punchline.
Why??? Really! Why? Why is there only one of these guys??? One Jeselnick? We need, like, twelve slightly different Jeselniks roaming around, just messing with people, hard. Than, I would be happier.
Clearly, you've never seen any of Frankie Boyle's work
@@MrSpleenboy💩
This guy is almost as funny as doug stanhope
Refreshing. Underrated. Need more
The priest at the airport joke is amazing.
My favorite comedian ❤😂🙌
The funniest guy I would never want to meet.
If Clint Eastwood was gonna be a stand up, he'd be this guy :D
Perfect Handsome Jack for a REAL Borderlands movie😅
The comedy is superb ❤! Anthony you are a genius 😮totally great comedian 😢🎉
3:12 WTH??? Why the f**k would y'all cut off one of Jeselnik's funniest lines? "I assume you guys all knew who were coming to see tonight. But if you didn't..... YOU SURE AS HELL KNOW NOW." (Im pretty sure that is the line, or at least really close to it.)
This guys one of the best
Thank you very much, i had never seen some of those clips, love Anthony Jeselnik.
The henway ? About 5 pounds
Baby sitter joke is funny even if you don't understand it
How can you not understand it? Lol
“I was the babysitter” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
7:06 that took BALLS
I miss TJO. Loved Shark Party. 🦈👯
Love Anthony
Never heard of it.
Live from Auckland NZ
Good comedy, come down bro.
Be good for you.
North and south island.
I can't - I love dark humour.
One of my favorites.
He's got a Walken thing going on with his voice
Very Mitch Hedberg, I love it.
I am so going to hell.
I wish most people could see this dark humor as a catharsis. We all have our demons and our traumas. I sure have mine and I'm still grieving. ♥ Yet, lmfao.
Dark humour is like a father not everyone has one
People complain about cancel culture and the death of dark comedy like Anthony doesn't exist. The difference is he's funny, they're racist
Other dark comedians: Chris Rock, Kevin Heart, Bernie Mac, Dave Chapelle, Eddie Murphy….
Frankie Boyle
Jimmy carr
You can drop Kevin Hart and Eddie Murphy from that list. Tell me, sir, when has Murphy EVER made a joke that cuts dark? If you mention his "faggot" jokes from RAW, that was just juvenile name-calling and impressions, not dark humor. And Hart has been a wide-demo guy all his life. You think he's gonna risk all his cheesy endorsements and movie deals with a rape joke?
*Hart
guess you had to be there
I loved it ...
Anyone notice how Jeselnik sounds like a Pittsburgh Schwarzenegger?
Pittsburgh Schwarzenegger sounds like one of those names that Will Ferrell and friends come out with
When the LBGTQ send an ambassador they always send two, but it's always the same two people.
Neil and Bob.🤪
Sort of a Steven Wright thing going for him there.
I can almost always see where a joke is going.
Not with him. So so sick. And funny as hell
He went to the Mitch Hedberg school of delivery and he does it well!
I don't think it's comparable at all. Jeselnik has a cocky, stuck-up, tough guy delivery. Mitch just has that "I'm high as hell" delivery (probably because he was). Very different.
I was the babysitter☠️
Your a natural.
You think this guy is dark? Listen to Scotland's very own Frankie Boyle. This guy gets it too though.
He kills me!! HAHA!!
thumbs up, as usual
Saw you in Boulder
Great time
Cameron Esposito opened
This is like watching the grass grow!!!
I wouldn't really call this dark. Check out Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle, Ricky Gervais and Jim Jefferies to mention just a few. Here's some videos that are good examples.

Nah... he's pretty dark
A hybrid (tribrid?) of Louis C.K. Steven Wright and Mitch Hedberg.
That boy is a fool! 2funny! They gone!
He sounds like a young Christopher Walken.
I've always thought the same thing!!
Google it it’s still on utube
I worked with a guy who was a close buddy of the guy killed by the shark(s)in NZ., if I'm correct about which fatal shark attack in NZ he means (fatal attacks being very uncommon). I was pretty new at the company. The guy who died got absolutely ripped to pieces; they ended up sending a chopper out with a sniper onboard, to disperse three sharks (two different species, at least, from memory), which had continued attacking him long after he was dead. He'd really riled them up apparently. Anyway, my mate told me that he, and everyone else who knew this guy well closely enough, are absolutely certain that the reason he'd have gotten killed, is that he's the kind of guy who upon spotting a quote _"boil up"_ (which he explained is a fish feeding frenzy sharks can go into when they corral a school of fish into a compressed ball or knot, or something along those lines...), would *_swim over to investigate it out of curiosity._* Which he is adamant is what would've happened, since his mate was in the middle of a long swim, training for a triathlon or some such thing. The idea of anyone swimming *_towards_* a shark feeding frenzy, out of *_curiosity,_* was new to me, and was/is totally beyond my ability to fathom.
Having said that, I've known enough nutf*cky people over the years to at least be somewhat credulous about his story; he was at loggerheads with management at the time, and his demanding time off due to the issue, and taking it at will, was certainly an issue. In fact the top candidate for similar nutf*ckery was once contemplating applying for a job overseas, patrolling large fishing nets for sharks, and *_removing sharks that got themselves inside the net._*
Nobody is going to read all that.
Dark humor is like a henway.
My girlfriend said I was the best french kisser.
I told her anyone can get that way if they are willing to practice with their grandparents.🤪
His smile!❤
I think the darkest comedian is Aries Spears
I'm a NZer, I seen the clip, it was funny and fuck surfers, going in the sea is like walking around Alaskan wilderness without a gun, sooner or later something is gonna try to eat you
At 3:13 - "My friend Jeff is gay" - I don't get it?
if Patrick Bateman was a Comedian.
I can't make up my mind yes or no.
I hope you all can’t forget George Carlin!
He would be great as Raylan Givens smartass brother.
The darkest comedian ever is Doug Stanhope. Anthony's stuff is morose but nobody surpasses Stanhope.
Dave Chappelle is way darker than JizzinNeck. He is many shades darker.
Chappelle is dark. But we don't want Clayton Bigsby to know that.
Yes but insufferable. I don't have the patience to listen to him. Or Bill Burr. I hate shouting comedians.
❤❤❤❤
This guy is🔥🔥
Anthony is better than Norm ever was.
There. I said it.
Josh is unique and disturbanly hil😂arious
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jeselnik is darker than most. But there's a fairly predictable and so therefore reliable, comfortable and safe rhythm to his style and delivery that softens the blows and the relatable reality of the jokes. And although this also enables him to push the envelope (so to speak) and get away with increasingly dark jokes because one grows to trust his style and delivery (etc), even so I can think of comedians who not only don't have such a reliable and comfortable style/rhythm to lean on, their actual jokes/punchlines/observations/truths/etc are also much, MUCH darker, deeper, and hit WAY harder. e.g. Frankie Boyle, Doug Stanhope.
It's like watching an interesting and so called "controversial", "dark" and "challenging" modern mainstream TV sketch show and enjoying it and its "dark" style and content, whilst still having the relative safety of knowing from the style and content of the show and also the fact it's on mainstream TV that it won't get too dark... And yet, as it's definitely darker on all fronts than most TV comedy, you'll also therefore still fall into the lazy habit of calling it "dark comedy"...
Until, for some reason, one day you discover a show like the Chris Morris produced UK comedy sketch series, ''Jam' (2000), which was also originally broadcast (once and only once and late at night) on a mainstream UK channel (Channel 4), and then... as you watch it... as your jaw drops and the scales fall from your eyes, you quickly realise 'Jam' is WAY darker and more unpredictable than that aforementioned "dark" comedy sketch show, which is now somehow much more positive and lighter in comparison...
I loved JAM 😂
I have to use that phrase:
Gentlemen you had my curiosity ... but now you have my attention.”
― Quentin Tarantino, Django Unchained
I will definitely look into "Chris Morris - Jam" now
@@IDuman If you do a search here for, "Jam (Chris Morris) Episode 2 Smart Pipes", the resulting video (with that title) is a classic sketch from Jam that is a good example of the series as a whole. Best of luck! :)
Look up everything Chris Morris has done! Not all super dark but always super sharp. His show Brass Eye had an episode called Paedogeddon. Channel 4 broadcast it to record complaints and i think politicians involved. Excellent parody of UK press wild scaremongering
Are you really purity testing dark comedy
Darkest comedian? Have you heard of Jimmy Carr by any chance?
Jimmy tells the occasional dark joke. Every joke Anthony tells is dark lol
@@josephsalmonte4995 *Frankie Boyle, end of story ~*
Yeah definitely not the darkest.
@@josephsalmonte4995youre american right.
They water down jimmy carr in the us.
This guy? Hes barely worth cracking a smile. Sometimes.
Jimmy carr makes ppl wince.
Glad y’all like him. I have no problem with the “dark” part. Just wish there was some comedy to go with it
Tell me you don't have a sense of humor without telling me you don't have a sense of humor.
🤣🤣🤣
Someone explain the ‘I think my friend Jeff is gay, I don’t know I’m so bad with names’ joke. I’m not smart
I'm not sure, but I think the joke is that Gay is also a name? I don't know, I'm not smart either. Lol.
The joke is that he knows 100% that his friend is gay but isn't sure his name is Jeff. lol
@@mitchwood6609 ahhh this makes sense. Thank you 😂
yeah youre overthinking it lol, just one of his misdirections not really a joke per se
@@breathej.4872 damn, I laughed way more because of what you have commented than the joke itself 😂
Funny
The people that didn't laugh have biktarvy in there pocket😮
Why did the chicken cross the road?
Cuz it was 9/11
