I have watched standup for over 60 years. Jeselnik does not necessarily have the best material I have ever seen-although it is very, very good-but he has, hands down, the best timing. His pregnant pauses allow the audience to fill in the punch line, and then, he goes off on a totally separate tangent. He is brilliant.

He was standing next to me, I finally had to confront him because I could hear him over Jeselnik. He was admonishing the crowd, calling them terrible people, etc. I finally told "do you think anyone here cares?" He got all in my face, his friends noticed came over and actually took my side, lol, 2 of his buddies took him away from me, his 3rd friend apologized and bought me a drink, he explained to me that that one guy didn't know who Jeselnik was and only came because their other friend couldn't make it. It was hilarious. Love this dude. ✌🏼

Jeselnik is my favorite comedian working today. He tells AWESOME joke STORIES instead of lame one-liners. He is so original that I can't even think of a single comic to compare him too. But that can also be a curse. Another favorite comic of mine was the late, great MITCH HEDBERG who was so original the networks didn't know what to do with him so he never became the next SEINFELD, even though he was MUCH funnier.Hard to believe the day after tomorrow will be the 15th anniversary of his death. RIP MITCHIE!!
