You always expect a dark/edgy turn from an Anthony Jeselnik joke, but when it does, it's almost never the way you expected it to be.
Honestly he reminds me of what would happen if "The Far Side" was an actual person instead of a comic strip.
@Jay Rock Jinx I think it's passe unless you can pull it off as well as Jeselnik. The greats always hide how much work and effort it takes to seem effortless.
@Jay Rock Jinx Good point. Jimmy Carr is flat-out hilarious, quick on his feet, and smart as a whip.
I love his style. He is so old school but with a twist
He did that formula 4 times here so you know its coming
His delivery makes me feel like I’m watching a TED Talk but it makes it funnier
How bout an onion talk?
ua-cam.com/video/XQcNYb3DydA/v-deo.html
His delivery is honestly why I fell in love with his stand-up
This is the most authoritarian stand up ive seen. He didnt laugh, or change emotions. His jokes were so good he just stared with dominance as the crowd laugh.
Mr. Roombastic *authoritarian :)
@@demers6178 let me fix that. Thanks comrade
It makes me wonder if he's high as balls on psychedelics.
That’s what he does.
@@CaleSchmitz Like Mitch Hedberg ??
What I Love about Jeselnek is that it's not really about the evil, it's about telling surprising punchlines. He has the amazing ability of making it very clear when a punchline is coming, but still surprising you with it every single time.
The "evil persona" is merely a natural companion to that, adding shock value to the existing surprise value.
Ex0dus111 nailed it
Thanks, professor.
Fantastic at misdirection
Sean Sonksen watch your mouth
Good one genius
This dude is like a rabbit hole of dark humor. GREAT SET.
harlemdeni it’s called a rabbit hole bruh lmao

I found my dad's old hidden porn collection when we were cleaning out his attic. Really vintage stuff. I'm glad I found it though, I had forgotten how blonde my hair used to be.
That's fucked up but funny as hell
Bruh 😂
hof8231 lmfao nooooo
That’s a jeselnick joke right there
Would have been a lil better with "I forgot how pretty my little sister was when we were kids."
An awesome joke, nonetheless. Just a lil more twisted with the little sis angle. Just a thought.
When it comes to misdirection, very few comedians could hold a candle to Jeselnik. He's the boss.
Stewart lee is the ultimate comedian for misdirection and surrealism. Never see another comedian to his level.
1:44 “My grandfather turns 100 years old next month... maybe”
**pans to old guy in audience**
Lol 😆
☠️☠️☠️
ok hes not that old
@@m3ntal_c0re Probably the oldest the cameraman could find in range.
I love his slow delivery, it lets the darkness of the jokes hit hard in my opinion.
The Grandma joke was top 5
This guy is a professional. He doesn’t go out there spewing life experience or viewpoints and instead he works on writing thoughtful jokes. Kinda dark but that’s the point, they are jokes
💯
You’re a genius easily impressed
That is the reason why I can't watch Dave Chapelle's new stuff.
Man all his "left turn" jokes are unexpected. Like I know they're coming and I know we're turning left, but I could never tell what I'll see once we make that turn.
Also his humor is *dark* and _EPIC_
LOVE IT!!
Finally a comedian that almost caters my kind of humor... his deliveries are perfect. Great guy!
Not many comedians really make me laugh out loud. I still laugh at jokes of his I have already heard.
“I still have birthday parties... Now I’m just careful what I wish for”
the wicked smile that he had with that statement...implying that he is now somewhat fucked up...
LOl, Thank you for the comment, Love and support, where are you chatting from?
"...he was a really cool guy. If you could forget about..." Hilarious 😂😂
I'm glad your find it hilarious, Thank you for your comment, love and support, where are you chatting from?
Can't think of any other stand up comic with such a command of his audience. No antics or exaggeration to keep you engaged. Just a guy on stage with a candour and cadence that feels like he just says what comes to mind. And the jokes still hit. Respect
The I dont want a divorce anymore joke is probably the most family friendly joke jeselnik has told
His humor is like old school one liners with a dark sadistic twist. I have to admit that he is on fire in the comedy world.
he just took dark humor to another level!
He took it to another level a long time ago lol.
The deadpan delivery would be enough. But when you add in the facial prompts ike the leading smiles and raised eyebrows, its safe to say that Jeselnik is a true master of his craft. Lets just all stop and thank him for not picking up the Yinzer accent. He would sound dumber than hell if he sounded like Myron Cope or The Pittsburgh Dad.
His misdirection of the audience towards the punchline is brilliant.
Definetely my "new" favourite comedian! So many dark jokes and what a control!!! Amazing
This guy is beyond funny. He is a whole new level.
The fact that he has a straight face during the jokes makes it even funnier because maybe hes being foreal😂
Yeah, he's one of the best, got the material and the delivery.
„I dont want a divorce anymore“ dude you legend
Just discovered this guy on Netflix, and good grace am I not disappointed. What a legend.
Whether you like his material or not, you have to admit he is really good at misdirection and timing.
The guy clapping on the balcony is his uncle cracking up because his sister Anthony's mom, the butt of the joke.
This is a very young, somehow more expressive, and somehow slightly faster taking Anthony Jeselnik than I knew at first
Why does he look like (sounds lile him too) John Mulaney and Timothy Olyphant if they had a child
Whiistling Winds spot on
Everybody wants to be a comedian, but the comment section of UA-cam isn't the best place to get your act started. It's just the best fit for you, probably. That's a good one.
Yesss
Olyphant I get, but Mulaney... I don't see it.
he looks just like timothy olyphant and it honestly confuses me.
His delivery is legendary.
His plot twists are amazing 😂😂 you think the joke going this way then it takes a 180 and catches yu off guard.. this guy is hilarious
Love the dark humour. Any other comedians like him?
Dave Attell and Jeff Ross
Jimmy Carr
Dave Norton
Jim norton
Frankie Boyle!!!! The seven or so seasons he was on Mock the Week are priceless.
Anthony Jeselnik is a dope comic. His jokes are way before they're time...said no one ever.
This guy reminds me of the character Jeff Winger from Community lol
+1
His Eric Clapton joke is fucking epic!! Love this dude!
The man is a genius in his work. He also a phenomenal podcast guest who is extremely knowledgeable.
He has become my favorite stand up comedian of all time
I was not expecting that twist during the priest joke
The princess Diana JK was next level 😂😂😂😂
I can't get the final part. Could you write it or explain the joke to me, please? He says "most of them she..." and then I lose it
The priest joke is fucking golden
This guy’s comedic strategy is less little jokes but telling a story and then telling a big funny joke.
I love his use of misdirection for some of his punchlines
2:01 This joke about his grandma was so fucking corny. But I love it lmaoooooo.
*Anthony Jeselnik:* The act of showing the light in the darkness.
- Webster's Dictionary.
Didn't know Dexter was a comic
He’s so fun to watch….even the jokes I chuckle at, are some of my favorite deliveries.
This guy is just too funny for other human beings .
Sidharth Warrier what? XD
Best comedian ever!!!!
One of the best doing it right now.
👏👏👏 props to Anthony for not changing his act up for ppl. U either love it like me or despise him....
Either way, he doesnt care 😂
2:17 I love how he is already breaking before he even finishes the joke
No he's not breaking, he's smiling like he's mental, at that moment he's talking about the death screwing him up a little bit.. so he's playing into the character he's creating.
@@pazzodi3 thank god... i felt that i was d only one who saw that observation..
tiny details like this makes jeselnik great
I can't believe I never heard of him. He's awesome!
Holy shit, it's Jared the Subway guy! I bet you get that shit a lot
just discovered this guy... he's really funny!!!
One of the best.
2:18
You know how when some people smile it's a nice feeling
Yeah......you don't get that with Jeselnik
Whenever he smiles it's more like "What's gonna come out of his mouth now!"
Great comic to test if someone has a good sense of humor (date night etc.) or just someone you should avoid at all costs. Great set.
This was fucking great! I love his style, that last minute twist kills me every fucking time lmfao. I did see the drunk dad beating his sister's line coming tho, I was quite proud of myself.
One thing I'm learning from following this stand up channel is that there are a fucking ton of hilarious people out in the world
"...either way he was a great dad." this is just gold
this is the best type of dark humor
My favorite Jeselnik bit.
One of the greats
this guy is the master of surprise 👏😂
My first exposure to this guy. He is hilarious.
people are complaining about dave chappelle and im sitting here like "heheheheheheheheheheheheheh. you havent seen anthony jeselnik yet have you. HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEH"
Unexpected ruthlessness at it's best. Anthony is the man
He's so slow when he talk that we could actually imagine and he's 100 x times better 😂😂🙏
This man probably the best in dark comedy
Man this is suprisingly really funny
One of the best @ dark comedy
This is one dude that looks twice as good with a beard
This dude’s dark humor got me ☠️☠️☠️
I once found my older brothers Pamela Anderson playboy dvd. I used to have to wait till no one was at home to watch it lol this kids will never understand
Anthony join the "Its always sunny in Philadelphia" cast, you would be perfect 🤣
@@0taxz550 exactly
Insane!🤣🤣🤣🤣My Dark Side Chuckles insanely!😈😜🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for your beautiful comment, I appreciate the love and support, where are you chatting from?
This guy is ridiculously attractive
His twitter bio is a quote from the New York Times’ review of his special talking about his good looks.
Its a combination of the good looks and cockiness.
Thank you for your beautiful comment, I really do appreciate the love and support, where are you chatting from?
King of the one-liners
He is so good. Misdirection at it's best.
1:19 had me dying lmao
Pretty sure he's actually Anakin Skywalker
If American Psycho makes a sequel, I want Anthony to play the protagonist. He doesn't need acting. Just being himself.
This kid is very good
Finally therapeutic humor
The fucking timing is stellar 👌
So underrated.
That was a great divorce joke!
Jeselnik's humour is like Alzheimer. It creeps up on you, and it's inescapable.
I like this guy. very original.. I like Joe Mackie as well.. both of them dark... but in totally different, very funny ways.
I remember not liking this guy when he was doing one of the comedy central roasts, but I loved him here. It was like getting sucked punched with laughs.
The internet has ruined this now sacrid passing of the torch for young man everywhere
He is just the best... He is Jimmy Carr American version !!!
After the first two jokes I'm expecting every punch line to be the unexpected twist.
That first joke is fucking amazing.
He’s low key dark and savage af..... I love it.
He sure have his own way of telling jokes.
3:00 I didn't get this joke. can anyone explain
the master of the delayed swerve
This man saved my marriage
Alec Burriss Men sure are a lot less cranky when they're gettin laid!!🤷🏻♀️
Edit-- AND women!! 🤣
1:57 - what a knock-out for an older lady. Was she a newscaster or someone on the television?
That's his mom.
At least he will never be censored ...much too dark ! LOL
