I was on my own which is why my narcissistic ex wife put me through hell. My family are not in the UK. I was isolated by the ex wife. I chose to get 5 years counselling, focused on myself, healing and recovery.
good for you my friend 👏
When someones trying to bait me , I speak my truth, and I disengage. Thats one of the narcs tactic. The dogwhistle . I try to have boundaries, speak my truth and disengage and find emotionally available relationships where I can share my true self and get my needs met. Im worth it in a good way , Were worth it . And can choose safe enough relationships where I share my true self, and get my needs met. Im worth it , in a good way were worth it .Cheers. fellow travelers.
You r absolutely right, they caused our great family to break up…people take her advice, or you’ll lose them, wished I had this education years ago.
Thank you, Lise. Every time I fell off the track to get myself out of this horrible marriage, I listen to your short podcast and that centers me.
I’m really happy to hear that my content is helping you!
Had mentioned changes, she went into total denial/backlash
Our daughter is, we believe but she has disengaged from us, because of him, so don’t know what to do
my narc wife has literally all but shut my 24yr old business down. I don't know how she has done it but she has. all friends are gone , family is gone , it's just me and her. I'm about to break down. at this point I'd rather be in jail just to get away
If this is all true, time to make some apologies and reconnection with your family. Start the process of leaving
This isn't related to topic but whatever. Your hairstyle is so beautiful ❤
Sometimes it's a big advantage to be Eastern European. We don't care if we hurt other people's feelings and our methods of dealing with personality disorders are more than effective and have nothing to do with conversation, especially in a sensitive manner.
😂 I appreciate your candor.
I'm not Eastern European but I'm a convicted felon and have been to prison.
It's a similar mindset. One that I understand and see the value in. Straightforward. Blunt.
It's the way I prefer everything.
You won't find many here who are like minded. Lots of pussies in the world now.
We are not among them. 🤝
If only I could use my hammer...
I am of Russian stock. I choose simplicity, patience and compassion.
It’s only when people are rude that the music 🎼 changes 😇😉
May democracy prevail throughout eastern Europa! ❤
I guess my question is, what are some good ways to help a narcissist person see the err of their ways? What are some good ice breakers?
So sad
q: isn’t everyone a narcissist?
It’s on a spectrum
