I accidentally say that Ashley signing Taylors name on the check was plagiarism, while I should have said forgery! This was definitely something I overlooked while writing the script and during the final edit - Likely caused by my student brain misfiring lol, I will definitely correct this in a future release!

My thoughts about this case: I would have had to have gotten at least 1 to 2 million for killing someone which will never happen in my lifetime. This woman was foolish doing this for a mere $30,000.00, wouldn't even get you a flash car. Now she won't even need a car.

I'd say something about relationships where there are good trust relations and openness but this clearly is not one of them and I would not trust her character at all. You'd think a LEO background he'd develop at least Walter White's brother in law tier cop senses, but I guess he didn't, and I knew guys like this too that willfully chooses to believe his wife rather than accept the other possibility. It's a combination of the naivety with actively choosing to believe something, not as much just the blind trust or lack of good character judgment.

The real victim here is Taylor's ex-husband. She was actively ripping him off and using shady characters to hide her stolen money. She gets what she deserves for dealing with these criminals. But her ex-husband is probably out all the money she stole. Poor guy.

Taylor stole 30k+ from her and her husband's account to prevent it from being properly split in the divorce.
When you start breaking the law, you start down a path of risky behavior, like handing over someone you don't know that well 30k+ dollars.

This woman had both. She leaves her husband steals from him and goes and finds an unsuspecting lesbian to move in with!? Come on. God could have had her die in an accident or have a heart attack then no one would know how evil she Is. Take two evil people out. One dies the other is in jail, but no doubt the greater evil died. I've always disagreed with characterizing this as her murdering Taylor for the money. I think it's more accurate to say that her life of lies and deceit was unravelling and being forced to admit she had used the cash to buy shit for her secret boyfriend would have been the end of the line for her. She made one impulsive decision after another and killing Taylor was a way to put off the consequences just a little longer. It also made the consequences much more severe, obviously.

And I'm sure he wasn't even referencing murder. He was telling me in his own way not to be a dipshit. To think for myself and bail when stupid shit went down with my friends.
