I think it was the brother that did it. He was too quick to throw hiscsibking under the bus. His DNA would be the same. Why dudnt they pull up her phone records? If he put her body in a dumpster they would have found it. They dont show you the replies from the guy accused on that text msg..he could have replied WHAT ARE YOUBTALKING ABOUT. i've hung around criminals long enough to know that what his brother did..sending those messages..is exactly what you do to have someone else framed for something. He was just bignoting himself in jail saying he did it..everyone does that. Without her phonecrecords I one hundred percent believe they've got the wrong guy. If that tape is all they've got...they've got it wrong. He dudnt provide enough detail and with no body found where it should have been..hecwas lying on the tape.

It's as if killers talk about their crime, bc they know they need to be punished, but don't want to be the one to out themselves. They tell who they know will repeat it or.do.the.right thing by reporting it to someone. It's amazing how their were no other suspect than himself. People tell on themselves bc they know they need to be punished. They're still cowards, bc they won't tell on themselves, so they place the burden on.another person to tell. So selfish, & cowardly.

while what happened to this girl is horrible the response isnt to be insanely strict on kids like that? let them grow and be with other kids? that's how they build a social life and social skills. what you do need to do as a parent isnt only being their main contact outside of school 24/7 but to build a trusting relationship with them where they feel comfortable talking to you about details that could let you know if something like this DID happen. you as a parent cannot be there for them all the time, what if something happened at school? the response isnt to then just homeschool them, it could even be your own partner doing horrible things, etc, etc. there's no proper way to make sure something like this doesnt happen, but there's proper ways to make sure the perpetrator is out of their life and to help them get the help they need after it through proper communication between a trusted parent/guardian.

About a 13yo name Na'Zayiah, who's uncle is charged with her murder. No remains found, she was pregnant. The uncle even looks a bit like the guy in this story. These cases are so sad and also in both cases these young girls were not being protected. We need to do better.

My first question is how does a 16-year old just walk out of school at 11am without anyone really knowing? The other thing I noticed is that when he was talking to the police outside the house he used the past tense. He said “she knew who the father WAS and she ain’t saying” and then “yeah, she knows who the father of her child WAS”. Both times he used the past tense. It’s always a red flag when people use the past tense when describing someone who is missing.

Obviously I'm not completely blaming him since the kids were playing, and we think he walked over to my car when I got back. But when you think you're missing a child or something like that bad is happening, the way people react says it all. I was hysterical and it was only a few minutes!! His dad was another story, he was acting aloof bc it might be HIS fault.
