Thank you very much for this tutorial. You have a very good understanding of this keyboard, and you realize very nice and quite complex ideas on the effects part, and switching them in real time. There are only a few in-depth tutorial on YT like this. Thanks! :)

I'm a beginner musician/producer. Mostly a hobby. I have the Roland Fantom 08. Essentially identical to your 07, other than the weighted key bed and 88 keys. I love my keyboard! Unlike you, I don't have a venue to play at. So, I appreciate your effort to not only learn your Roland and its ecosystem, but to present yourself publicly. Not only at your Church or venue, but also on UA-cam! I think that takes courage! I know I'm not ready to do that! More over, I appreciate your effort to share as you learn, how to use and apply the many functions. I've watched a number of your videos and enjoy them all. Now, having watched this video, I know the difference between MFX, IFX1 & IFX2, and TFX. By the way, the reason why your vocal effects on the TFX did not affect the zones was that you had selected to apply the vocal effect in the Audio In, as opposed to the Internal, and had Mic selected as the input source. There are so my options and layers, it's easy to get mixed up, LOL! Also, in my own experience, not having watched this video yet, when I applied enhancement or compression using the MFX, I had not selected any zones, and I think the processing will apply to all the zones if you don't select the specific ones, like you showed in your example. That said, I'm thinking, ok.. I will set the enhancer on the MFX and a compressor on the TFX, and use the IFX 1, 2, for what is appropriate, like the drums buss and maybe pads busses, etc. One point I'm expressing is that I can follow along and know how to use my keyboard better, based on what I am learning from what you are sharing! So, I wanted to take a moment and thank you! Your effort is appreciated!

Is it possible to apply an internal effect for an audio in device like your guitar. Say for instance I wanted to put a pitch shifter on my guitar on the input, is that possible?

It sure is! I made a whole video about adding a guitar - including effects. Take a look if you're interested: ua-cam.com/video/5fZoAnieZEo/v-deo.html
