Off topic,I’m thinking of taking the plunge on a Fantom. I want to sample my vinyl to the Fantom. How do I hook up my turntable amp to the Fantom. Can I do this directly with a cable (What inputs) from the amp straight into the Fantom.
Hi - you sure can! You can come in with the stereo 1/4" jakcs, or through the balanced mono mic jack. Just be sure to enable the Audio In option on the Fantom, via Menu/Effects Edit/Audio In (select Line In or Mic as appropriate). I would use an Aux Out from your amp or mixer, or come directly from the turntable. Good luck!
Hey Paul, can you please point me to the video where you explain your vocal recording into Ableton through the Fantom via mono channel. I’ve watched it but can’t find the description again
Hi! I record eight mono vocal channels in #21 (ua-cam.com/video/PWhY2G3Fr0g/v-deo.html) but I talk more about the set up in #13 (ua-cam.com/video/WYdZa86xs_c/v-deo.html). Hopefully that's what you were looking for? Let me know if you're stuck and maybe I can help. The set up can be tricky!
