If Andy shows up you know it’s going to be great.
I am buying the 08. Awesome synths!
Well done video. Zooming in on the involved buttons, knobs and screen makes it so much more understandable than 99% of the demo/instructional videos out there. The Motional Pad blows me away. The touch-screen filter sweeps and Scene Remain are way cool.
Outstanding Tips. Thank You.
Wonderfully guidelines bro. Thanks. upload more videos regarding fatom 0 series
Excellent instructions
Great vid. Thank you
I'm falling in love with that keyboard..... ❤❤❤
Thank you Andy
Very Cool machine. One important feature is missing : No way to design new or existing arpeggios pattern motif !! Strange, cause this feature existed in the former FA-06/07/08 ... I hope this will added in a firmware update (I can dream)
Wow!
Now that I've created the drum pattern how do i save it or put it in one of the pads?
These new synths seem so daunting to learn. Feels like infinite time to spend just trying to learn how to use the intuitively.
One question. Can you load in music samples from
Songs to the pads (like Ableton) and do live remixes with those bars and play synths over the top?
Andy, please could you confirm process for using the Fantom. I bought Fantom 07 this week and struggling with anomalies when trying to volume in and out sounds. I’m setting up scenes with instruments needed for a song and using volume sliders to bring up and down the sound volume. But when I use a virtual organ sometimes the sliders remain drawbars instead of returning to volume. I have to reboot to fix. Turning off a zone select doesn’t silence the zone. Sometimes two zone are tied together . If first zone is off all the other zones are off even if their lights are on. Sometimes it all works but not often enough to build my confidence it will work on stage. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Any help would be most appreciated.
I wonder if it is possible to assign a knob to control delay time or feedback in the effects section.
Andy the drum patterns program g was that in the sequencer or in the drum machine also how many user groups slots are in the drum machine
Thank you so much for these friendly and incredible usage guidelines, I have a little question about the touch-screen in the Master FX section, I got my fhamton 06, a couple of days ago but, it seems this function is disabled or is not working at all, so please, if somebody might help me with this, to set this function, I will really appreciate it? thank you so much!
Same here it’s driving me crazy
Is there a way to control the voicing to go with the chord feature.
Does anyone know how to sample the notes from something else though? For example sampling from a VST on a PC, is there a program you can use or do you have to record them manually and save them as individual files?
Can the Fantom 0 autosample?
Hello, i have my files from my FA-06 roland.. will it work if i transfer it to my new fantom 06?
can i take a tone from the fa06 JUMP xxxxx and bring it into the fantom 06
I have backing tracks on my USB, can I use them through Fantom 06?
Question for S1,2 (assign) buttons
As far as I konw Fantom 08 can play guitar harmonidcs sound with S1 button.
But unfortunatley I don't konw what parameter is for harmonics sound for guitar.
and if posible can I have the map of the parameters.
pizicato = CC081, right?
guitar harmonics = ?
guitar tremolo = ?
trumpet cresando = ?
.........
Yamaha MODX has the same buttons that automatically set with each tones.
But I have to set Fantom 08 with each tones. and I don't know what parameter is what I want.
There are just numbers. I need guitar hamonics, tremolo, trumpet cresando etc..........
Best regards,
Fantom 08 user - DS Kim
Please turn on subtitles
Hi, Thanks for the video. When I want to multisample a real piano, can I also record different velocity? And will the Fantom apply that velocity?
Check out the manual under sampling->Create a Tone with multiple multisamples
Does this have tempo lock?
Hi. Can you tell me how to change the pattern time signature to 7/8 or 6/8
download the latest firmware update
Stupid question how much are the model expansions for the Fantom 0?
Depends of which one you are looking for, the expansions that come with the Fantom for free cost $150 each for the 0 series, then you have $50, $20 and $5 plus other ones than are free.
Anyone can give me any tips for sidechaining a trance song without the use of a DAW? I want to do everything on the keyboard, no DAW.
Agora em português
please ..traduction french please
Before you get too excited about the synth I suggest you contact Roland Support and experience first hand what you'll have to deal with when your new toy gets ill. I have a Fantom 7 that does not boot an has been that way for months. I have been trying to repair it but Roland is of no help. DON"T GET FOOLED like I did.
Korg had already introduced this a decade before Roland introduced program change on motion pad.. shame on you Roland, you are behind the times
Yeah Absolutely
lol this has been a thing for a long time from Roland though. Way before this board
Shame on your lack of ability to read . This is tips and tricks for new users how to access things where they are.. NOT NEW FEATURES
The number ONE most important feature of any workstation are the effects, without fantastic effects the workstation is useless. Why? Because you have multiple tracks and instruments playing simultaneously and it is impossible to use external effects with a mixed output. Fortunately, Fantom gives us an additional output, this is BIG, really important also. BUT....when you say "high quality effects"...what does that mean? You have provided no detailed video on the effects isolated and exposed by themselves with a single instrument.
Fantom actually has three stereo outputs, plus analog filter stereo output.
