How to use discrimination on the Minelab EQUINOX 800 Metal Detector

Can you please please reply- I lost some gold in house roof cavity- will a metal detector work there.. as lot of metal wiring electricity insulation dusty dark etc already there… please help please

does the small coil. work better or less for trash area. or the bigger coil

the small coil is better in trashy areas as it makes picking out good targets a lot easier when there is trash everywhere. A larger coil will get confused a bit when there are multiple targets under it at a time. smaller coil = less targets under it at once ;)
