I love the fact you are okay with whatever works for us. I spread my love of yoga to others and they tell me they can’t do all of those shapes. I tell them that I can’t either and they don’t have to. If your yoga teacher insists on those shapes, they aren’t the yoga teacher for you. I also love the fact you give us time to find the pose. For me, I stick out my lower ribs. You give me time to pull them in and breathe. Thank you!
A knee injury and surgery last june took me away from Yoga which was my happy place, along with my dogs and horses. I started following your practices again in january with a goodly amount of anxiety but i need not have worried. I have always loved your practices for their physical and mental strengthening and I thank you for bringing me back to a calm and accepting self. 🙏
Yoga for me is calm, relaxation, challenge, concentration, meditation, flexibility, strength, self-knowledge, self-love, .. Yoga made me a better person, more calm, more pacient, more flexible, more strong, with better posture, more present, more connected with the world and life in general. I have been practice yoga with you sice March 2020, and i feel that i'm a better person because of that. It helped me a lot not to stress so much when dealing with problems and life challenges... Always love getting back to basics! One thought: perhaps a class or a series exploring those 15 original poses? I always find your series so enlightening and energizing. Love the 8 limbs and the mudras. I have gone back to do those series and would love to see another one.
