Thank you to whomever is still running these videos and John for putting so much work into making these tutorials for us.
I think his family is running the channel now. What a great thing it is to leave this earth but still be able to provide for your family. John did everything right to let his family in a good position. So much that even now they're still able to share his valuable content and get paid for it, while at the same time helping people learn more about training, nutrition and everything fitness, plus get more people to know the great man John was.
That’s amazing
I miss him 😢
Lovely humble man really miss your vids John, god bless your family x
I really hope these videos never stop. I know realistically they will have to at some point but man, I hope that's not for a long, long time. RIP Mountaindog. You are missed dearly every day.
Love and miss ya John! All love to the Meadows fam hope the best for you all during the holidays !❤️
Gonna do those today, still learning here everyday!
Thanks John, forever ❤
lol! Same! Still learning, which is great!
I first found out about the Mountain Dog in a bodybuilding magazine over a decade ago. I still watch his videos whenever I need to change up my workouts and learn something new. Out of all of the bodybuilder's/coaches that are no longer with us, John is the one that I miss the most.
I hope his kids and wife are making it through the holiday season.
Miss John… I’m glad his training videos are still being made available… 💜
I'm doing this exact workout for my triceps next time I hit them, bless the channel/John and his family
Couldn’t tell you when but I couldn’t watch one of johns videos again until recently without being choked up. Man had a lovely family and a sweet son he featured in the show often, sometimes it’s just not fair. RIP Mountaindog
I never seen reverse grip tricep work out, amazing.
Thanks for posting, R.I.P. Mountain Dog
The best tribute for Mountain Dog is actually putting his advices into practice.
Fly high master!
love mountain dog, man really helped me grow so much with all his tips and exercises, love you man RIP
having torn my left tricep and slight tear on my right arm, these are the safest movements I wish I would have kept. rehab in my late 60s and trying to keep bulk has been a challenge. Thank you for your knowledge, experience, and input.
Its strange how the simplest improvement, doesn't really click until its shown or explained like the reverse grip movement. He was spot on with what he said about the wrist and bar readjustment and even though i do the regular push downs with grips because of him, it never occurred me to do reverse with them aswell. I'm so glad all his information has been preserved like this and thank you for keeping the channel active. Rest easy John.
Anytime I need reliable explanation on training, I go to John’s videos. He will forever impact peoples lives with his knowledge and passion for bodybuilding. His legacy will continue to live on through those of us who grow with his guidance. Thank you John, we miss you.
Love John may he rest in peace, i learn everyday from his video’s keep posting!
It’s like having a free personal trainer in the gym with you whenever you need it, the amount of people doing his workouts around the globe will be phenomenal, what a legend.
it was a great hit, my favorite training technique channel, hello to his family, rip great coach and popularizer
I would be totally lost without these videos that John so kindly produced for us. What an absolute legend of a guy he was.
I always start with push downs thanks to John. 90% of my routines are based on John and I'd say overall, John's content over the years transformed my body, knowledge base, joint health. I have iron rebel elbow sleeves cause him, use a band for shoulder health, and my shoulders exploded from him demonstrating heavy partial raises for example
Awesome workout and Amazing content n easy to follow guide ⚡️💪🏽⚡️
Still learning from MD! Thank you and God bless!
Thank you all for continuing to push John’s content, may God be with you all during this holidays. 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The mountain dog been on my mind heavy!! God bless you guys on keeping his legacy alive much love
Incorporating this today. I always do the 1st and 3rd movement but haven't tried the 2nd. Thanks John.

Miss you Mountain Dog
Got arms today, thanks John! 💙
The knowledge is just incredible. Listening to John will save you SO MUCH time and wasted effort. Doing the JM presses after the push downs is great. Fantastic pump after the JIM presses. RIP to the real one!
Long live the Mountain Dog!!!
its insane how many videos john had in store ready to go
Solid
I really miss you John and we love you in Australia
Thx for all ur help.
Many thx to his Old Lady... (or whoever...) for continueing to put out his vids
i didnt actually know this, but i always left my triceps towards the last of my workouts. The push down that i do however is just normal, intense pushups and my triceps fire up. Then i take the dumbell and do the overhead thing. Luckily no elbow pain, but seems i was pushing already before overhead tripceps with dumbells, but this is great to know.
Imo John meadows was massive in size and massively underrated what a phenomenal human being rest easy mtn dog.
If you were my dad i wouldve been a successful man in this world Thanks for existing in my life!
Still watching John, thanks!
Make sure to wash and dry your comforter to get rid of bed bugs and mites.
a lower weight can get a better connection with any tricep extension when trying to hit those 12-15reps for hypotrophy . Overload, with a higher weight, for lower reps for strength. Easy peesy. I Miss him ❤️
what do you think about dips for tricep workouts?
bless John and his family, rest in peace ❤
The man the forever legend , 💪
subscribed :)
can you do a dumbell only workout for tri s and chest
Still the best
I hope the Meadows family had a good 🎄🎄 Christmas.
I have always done pushdowns last as a finisher. And I'm 57 years old now. To me once you have done bench presses and weighted dips. Your elbows should be warmed up for anything.
Nothing has blasted my triceps as hard as flat bench dumbbell presses using moderate weights and doing set after set after set to failure, next set, go up in weight, work to failure again, repeat until I can't get 3 clean reps before failure. This also works my pecs really hard, which is a bonus.
so are tricep dips a good belly of the muscle stretcher?
I saw Armold Sir once do a DB heavy bent over bicep curl or raise sucking in all that ground Prana from Golds Gym. Danity %
Is there a website where I could buy John Meadows merchandise
Miss you mountain dog😪
I hope he knew how much we loved/love him :)
On that long head stretch the cable is low. So what is proper technique for getting it above your head?
Miss him!
I didn't realize at first someone else was posting these. I just watched a video about Cern LHC and then this shows up 😳
👍👍👍
❤RIP
💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Miss you brother!
God bless his soul legend ❤️
Miss ya John
My knee is bothering me grinding and now problems with shoulder
Garden hose veins!!

❤❤❤❤❤
I can't believe it, here he is so happy and full of energy and the very next day he is dead. Rest in peace John.
❤
Thanks, from. Refraining or holding back a little on heavy dumbbells.... because that's not esoteric advanced Kitana training and practice...sorry, it works I can't ignore facts such as that.
Miss u john
❤️🙌
Any suggestions for a 66 yr old guy that's very active in good health and not overweight. Is it too late in life to put on muscle?
Tip number 1 and most importantly is the gear. Without the gear you can do everything prefect for 20 years without getting those arms
