It doesn't feel like an interview, it feels like an interrogation. When he isn't giving the answer she wants to hear, she interupts and pushes back. And since she completely disagrees with everything he says, she doesn't let him complete a single thought.
Agree, i feel like that‘s journalism 101 nowadays to frame a question a certain way and put words in the opponent‘s mouth, just to create a story for clicks. SO ANNOYING!
Yea, she claims to be interviewing HIM but this is just a one sided debate...aka, an interrogation. When she doesn't get a response she likes she cuts him right off and argues back at him.
The difficulty we have is that debates and discussions are always going to be "triggering" to people. Anything worth discussing is, by definition, going to leave certain people feeling an injustice, outrage, disgust etc. Whilst that's par for the course with debates, we are now in an era in which people listen to reply, rather than listening to understand. Consequently, it's neigh impossible at times to debate in any meaningful sense, as at least one side is likely to not be listening to the others case, instead waiting for a gap or pause in their speech so that they can interject (as was the case here). It's sad, but I think that as much as today's culture is to blame, the technology is too. When people are used to getting instant answers from a machine that doesn't talk back, question your logic, or pose hypothetical situations, all whilst offering opinion pieces slanted towards a particular narrative and fake statistics on social media sites, they find any kind of face-to-face debate too much. It's draining and frustrating to them, especially having to justify their position. So, instead they simply talk over the others, block their ears and remain in ignorant bliss. If we didn't have the technology we are blessed with, I suspect people would be more open to debates as it would be the only way to get information and other perspectives. People just don't want to hear it nowadays, unfortunately.
It always backfires as they are all generally stupid. Stupid people have the confidence of the ignorant when going up against someone who is actually really intelligent.

She is trying to get very literal with the word "control" when she knows that he isn't being literal with his use of "control". Her bias is showing for sure.

Here's a surprising fact for you. They're trying to revoke his license in Canada. And one of the examples cited was that he kept fiddling with his wedding ring while talking to a female. And that was CLEARLY a sign of aggression and masogony towards her. So when you fiddle with your stuff, don't forget that it's an act of aggression. Lol.
@pstew5309 lol, then every man and woman who suffers from ADD/ADHD is very aggressive. 😂 How terrified my teachers must have been of me (a 5'4 woman) when I was in school!

We have people of Every race, sex, age group, class, and political affiliation. I swear the discourse keeps me alive, but I also love that when anyone in the group has a problem, they have 30+ friends who will do anything for them. That’s what the people really need.. discourse and support.
Keep reacting to what you find enjoyable. I started watching you because of some music reactions but enjoy these as well. I'm a conservative Christian and, without knowing for sure, would guess that we wouldn't agree on every topic. But you also seem like someone open-minded with a cool personality who I would like to be around in real life. And, as you said, we've lost a lot of that by hating anyone who disagrees even slightly with what we do. Keep it up!
The way she looks downward everytime is almost like, she already has the answer in her head that he'll give to something, therefore she doesn't listen as she should've to have made a correct conversation/discussion.
The canary in the coal mine was the fact tht they used to bring canaries in coal mines, and if the fucker passed out, cause they are extremely sensitive to a lowering in the amount of oxygen they would pass out.
Regarding the telephone or social networks, when there are many stimuli in a short period of time, people tend to be left with very little. It is the same in long conversations where there are discussions or in a podcast for example of a couple of hours, when stimuli do not generate knowledge or attraction are easily forgotten
I'm not very familiar with this international political scenario, especially when it comes to political figures, so I can only speak based on my general knowledge. From what I gathered, this Jordan Peterson is a figure from the far-right and some might say he holds misogynistic views. As for this woman, whom I wasn't familiar with either, she seems to be a left-wing journalist. The issue here, as far as I can see, is that both individuals in the interview display extreme hostility. Even though Jordan Peterson may be eloquent and composed, his words also carry hostility. This isn't a value judgment, just an observation. But the central point of this whole story, ultimately, from what I can understand, revolves around a society where historically, men have oppressed women through aggressive actions, whether physical or psychological. Anyone who disagrees with this is either living in a different reality or has ill intentions. The numbers, the data, don't lie. Is it not true that there's a significant occurrence of domestic violence cases against women? The statistics consistently reveal alarming rates of domestic abuse directed towards women, highlighting a deeply rooted societal issue that cannot be ignored. This violence perpetuates a cycle of fear and harm, affecting countless lives. Is it not true that women in similar positions as men generally receive lower salaries? Gender pay disparities are indeed a stark reality. Numerous studies have demonstrated that women, on average, earn less than their male counterparts in comparable roles and with similar qualifications. This isn't merely an isolated phenomenon but a systemic bias that hinders women's economic empowerment. Furthermore, the under representation of women in leadership roles and key decision-making positions across various industries showcases the persisting gender gap in opportunities and recognition. The glass ceiling remains a tangible barrier for women seeking equal professional growth. In sum, the evidence is irrefutable: systemic sexism and misogyny are deeply ingrained in our society. To deny these realities is to perpetuate the very inequality that many are working to address and dismantle. These examples are indeed facts and demonstrate that there are significant issues stemming from the entrenched sexism within various structures of our society. It's one thing to point out potential exaggerations in reactions from left-leaning individuals, which can be valid. However, it's another matter entirely to claim that problems originating from sexism do not exist in our society. Lastly, Alex, I used to be one of your fans, and I always enjoyed your content and your reactions to movies and series. But now, your political stance worries me. Are you aligning yourself with the extreme right-wing group of people who don't acknowledge sexism, racism, and misogyny as real problems? Do you think it's all just a fabrication of the left? Do you believe that everyone is "too sensitive" these days? In the end... perhaps empathy is truly lacking; the ability to put oneself in the shoes of others seems to be increasingly rare and dismissed by some.
Canary in the coal mine... Back in the days when technology as we know it today was basically non-existing, it was hard to detect potential danger hundreds of meters under the ground. The greatest danger for miners are gasses. Some of them have no smell and are extremely toxic. That is why the miners carried a canary with them into the shaft and constantly kept one eye on the bird. If the canary suddenly fell to the bottom of the cage, someone would raise the alarm and all the miners were to evacuate ASAP!
Any time anyone tries to say Peterson is a smart man, I have to remind them that he was tricked into posting fetish porn on social media because he thought it was proof of some conspiracy he believed in.
"Canary in the coal mine" refers to the way coal miners would take a caged canary down the mine with them. The bird's behavior was their way of monitoring the air quality. The bird would be affected by poisonous gasses first, which would give the miners time to get out before succumbing. I always felt bad for the birds.
You're good man ! Keep going on ! Never let other stop you or botter you in your way of doing things ! I loved listening your video and love your vibes bro ! Namaste 🔥
It would be SO difficult for me to not lose my cool on this woman. Jordan maintains control like the self contained master that he is. This is a great example of why I admire this man so much. ❤
I agree with you, she is not at all receptive to what he says. Ironically, she's just trying to dismantle his reputation, while denying that women manifest aggression in that regard.
Bro, you are nailing it (lol, during the me2 portion). Your comments are 100% accurate. In her mind, me saying that she could me fired or arrested if we worked together lol
She's not listening to him at all. She asks questions and ignores the answer while rephrasing the same question in a different way. She's a snake oil dealer with a motive.
Be wary of Jordan Peterson. The man doth often strayeth from his lane. He does have serious expertise in clinical psychology. She is annoying but Jordan is up to that. His ideas about the "Me too" movement seems a bit mixed up. It's hardly about men and women in the workforce together.
The problem with him is that he looks at a pattern, and work from the assumption that the pattern and differences are based inherently in nature, and disregard nurture and systematic cultural pressures. There are plenty of studies that show how people treat kids differently based on what gender they believe they are as opposed to what they are. What is doesn’t always have to be.
Open-minded individuals are rare these days! Keep up the great content and don’t let the projections of others pain stop you from doing what you feel is right to grow aa a human being….thank you for sharing!
I never wear make up in the office, why would I? Some women will say they wear make up for themselves. LIES. They wouldn't be wearing make up if they were the only person left in the world.
Alex, of course you’d be more likely to use words, you’ve studied to become a lawyer. Lawyers use words to fight. That doesn’t make you feminine. I myself tend to try to de escalate a confrontation with words first, and it has served me quite well. I’m not afraid of a physical confrontation though, but I’m also careful about that route. I’m built like you dude, so I’m not looking for a physical confrontation, but if that’s what it comes to, that’s what it is. You CAN have a balance of words and physicality, but you have to find the balance that is right for you. Man, I love the way you think. I’d love to have a beer with you. You are one of the most open minded, yet pragmatic, people on social media. I bet we’d disagree on some things, but we’d also agree on others.
There will always be predators, as JP says. We can teach ideas of ethical behavior in schools, but there will be some predators anyway. It is every individual's responsibility to understand this and to take certain measures to protect their well-being.
it's gotcha journalism. if i ask him a question i can clip out the parts i don't like and yell "gotcha bitch" Long form is the best way to catch these kinda b-holes out.
Some women don’t understand virtually all men have an understand of the hierarchy of violence amongst other men. It’s what keeps us controlled. As a man I know I can’t just go up to another man and just start acting any way, because there is a change that man will react back violently. It’s not fear it’s an unspoken respect men have with each other and we all know that what ever we say can have consequences and so good men act right knowing that if they do not they may be put into place.
Oh no..... please don't go down this Jordan Peterson rabit hole. PLEASE DON'T turn into politics reactions like every other reaction channel seems to be doing.
I believe there may be some issues within the BBC and among BBC journalists. It appears as though there is an agenda, and they might be compromising their professionalism to pursue it. I think an investigation should be conducted to understand what's happening.
Canary in the coalmine originates from the fact that coalminers used to bring canaries in cages on the job back in the day because of how fragile they are. If they suddenly dropped dead while in the mine, it was good evidence the mine was dangerous in some way, as in lack of oxygen, too much radiation, etc and allowed the miners to escape because the death of the canary warned them
People forget that arguing with someone doesnt have to be an overly aggressive situation. Were all different, so its a natural thing to happen. People these days are so caught up in their own rhetoric and confirmation bias that they find opposing views to be offensive rather than insightful or thought provoking. Thats one of the best ways to determing whether your own ideas are "correct" is that they stand up to opposing ideas well and seem just as solid to you after being disassembled and tested. If you arent willing to be open to changing your mind to something more logical or sound, then youll forever stay ignorant and stationary in life, rather than growing for the better.
This reminded me of when me and my friends were enjoying some dark humor among ourselves, one time we were making fun of the bald one and everyone was laughing including him, all of a sudden a young lady showed up to our table, all angry, gave us a speech how she was offended and we should be ashamed of ourselves making fun of bald people, she didnt even care about our friend or how he felt, she was just triggered on behalf of bald people and chose to disrupt our conversation to gave us a speech, made a scene. Its all about the attitude in my opinion, you can't just label and scream to people.. just discuss and leave peacefully, its not that hard honestly
Yes she's annoying as heck. She's not listening with an open mind she's looking to jump at anything he says the she sees as triggering to her thinking!
I know interviews should have an agenda but this one was purposely divisive in nature, I am sure the full interview would absolve our belief of her complete ignorance. I love these vids ,even when the subject does not share my ideology. Listening to people with this level of intelligence, well it is inspiring.
Her smirk acting like she had a “gotcha” moment but sure failed miserably. She made it about only woman when he was only talking about someone being out of control and not even trying to assume they need to be controlled.
The usage of phones doesn't lead to lack of intelligence. It can be quite the opposite, actually. What it leads to is to lack of creativity, due to free access to dopamine hits. Social media / shorts / tiktoks / porn and all kinds of fast paced virtual stimulus, they are the #1 escape from boredom, which is the #1 cause of creativity. So, social media and phones break creativity. Not intelligence.
Lack of attention too. I’ve noticed when I’m spending more time on UA-cam vs audio books or podcasts, I actually have a harder time finishing videos before getting bored and moving on. Even shorter 10-15 min videos.
This woman wants her questions answered inside the paradigm of “feelings of the matter” rather than actual 👉🏽facts of the matter👈🏽… it’s like having a conversation with someone about Santa Claus! 😒
Just wish people would disregard their own preconceived notions on Jordan Peterson before they listen to him and when they listen they actually hear what he's saying instead of letting their preconceived notions say his words! They might learn something and the world would be a better place! Jordan Peterson = God!!!!!🙏🇬🇧💙
It doesn't feel like an interview, it feels like an interrogation. When he isn't giving the answer she wants to hear, she interupts and pushes back. And since she completely disagrees with everything he says, she doesn't let him complete a single thought.

alex, how are you and your family out there?
hope you are all fine
She’s not there to exchange ideas. She’s doing the typical gotcha media questioning and when he makes valid points she quickly moves on
I agree with you, she is not at all receptive to what he says. Ironically, she's just trying to dismantle his reputation, while denying that women manifest aggression in that regard.
Bro, you are nailing it (lol, during the me2 portion). Your comments are 100% accurate.
In her mind, me saying that she could me fired or arrested if we worked together lol
Why does it feel like they ask questions for a "gotcha" moment?
Intelligence is what you know. It's what you do with what you know.
I'm glad to see you reacting to these types of videos. Don't stop, love to see it! Much love from North Idaho
This woman is disturbed!
Hey bro. Just wanted to make sure you're safe from those fires out there.
I hope so too it's getting very hectic over there
She's not listening to him at all.
People who get upset about others watching people's opinions are the people who don't want you to have an opinion unless it's their own.
You as American didn't knew what canary reference means?! 🙃🤦♀ Me as Latvian even understand it.
IMO, the phrase isn't hugely common in the US. I've mainly heard it used when discussing antisemitism.
Hope you’re safe Alex
Keep doing these conversation provoking videos! Thanks Alex
I love how he’s just doodling the whole time completely disinterested while she’s trying to smear him and he still owns her
I love these types of videos that makes me think, keep them coming
He doesn't respect her at all, he's doodling and not looking at her
I think she’s trying to induce a gotcha
The problem with him is that he looks at a pattern, and work from the assumption that the pattern and differences are based inherently in nature, and disregard nurture and systematic cultural pressures. There are plenty of studies that show how people treat kids differently based on what gender they believe they are as opposed to what they are. What is doesn’t always have to be.
Sounds like she trying to do a gotcha moment
You're a reasonable guy in a crazy world. I appreciate that.
Open-minded individuals are rare these days! Keep up the great content and don’t let the projections of others pain stop you from doing what you feel is right to grow aa a human being….thank you for sharing!
She is doing EXACTLY what Jordan said. She's using words as an act of aggression. The entire interview she's trying to destroy his reputation.
More please
I agree, I follow ppl I dont necessarily agree with because I feel like hearing all sides is thought provoking.
I never wear make up in the office, why would I? Some women will say they wear make up for themselves. LIES. They wouldn't be wearing make up if they were the only person left in the world.
What chair are you sitting on?
Awesome brah. Good role model is a Jordan 👍🏻
No, it's not just you. She's annoying. 😂
There will always be predators, as JP says. We can teach ideas of ethical behavior in schools, but there will be some predators anyway. It is every individual's responsibility to understand this and to take certain measures to protect their well-being.
If I could keep my cool as well as that...
First Shapiro and now Peterson. Some of worst people to listen to 😂 next you'll have a video of Steven Crowder or Nick Fuentes
Ok commie
In your opinion.
Gas in a coal mine was hard to detect, odorless. They would bring a caged canary down with them. If the canary died, they hauled ass out of there.
it's gotcha journalism. if i ask him a question i can clip out the parts i don't like and yell "gotcha bitch" Long form is the best way to catch these kinda b-holes out.
Her body language is ...yikes lol. As a woman, never would I try to befriend this
Oh no..... please don't go down this Jordan Peterson rabit hole.
PLEASE DON'T turn into politics reactions like every other reaction channel seems to be doing.
Ok commie
He.did before earlier guess I'll unsubscribe again
This is like Georges St. Pierre fighting a toddler in the octagon.
Link to the full interview?
I believe there may be some issues within the BBC and among BBC journalists. It appears as though there is an agenda, and they might be compromising their professionalism to pursue it. I think an investigation should be conducted to understand what's happening.
Canary in the coalmine originates from the fact that coalminers used to bring canaries in cages on the job back in the day because of how fragile they are. If they suddenly dropped dead while in the mine, it was good evidence the mine was dangerous in some way, as in lack of oxygen, too much radiation, etc and allowed the miners to escape because the death of the canary warned them
I have one of my co workers exactly like her. Its truly a heavy load having her around the workplace.
If someone doesnt understand jordan peterson, I feel they dont understand understanding.
Yes she's annoying as heck. She's not listening with an open mind she's looking to jump at anything he says the she sees as triggering to her thinking!
I wouldn´t listen either to a sexist dude like JP
I know interviews should have an agenda but this one was purposely divisive in nature, I am sure the full interview would absolve our belief of her complete ignorance. I love these vids ,even when the subject does not share my ideology. Listening to people with this level of intelligence, well it is inspiring.
I absolutely hate seeing Peterson argue with a stupid lady that doesnt let him finish his damn sentence...
I was hoping he’d have retorted to her about bullying with “much how you’re behaving right now”.
El feminismo fue un error
wow point proven, i thought everyone knew what the canary in the coal mine meant. i guess i'm old
Her smirk acting like she had a “gotcha” moment but sure failed miserably. She made it about only woman when he was only talking about someone being out of control and not even trying to assume they need to be controlled.
You need to check out "Jordan Peterson DEBATES With Intelligent Student On HATE SPEECH". Pure gold IMHO.
I don't even have to watch this. - Thank you chat in the comments.
She doesn't listen to anything he says.
This woman wants her questions answered inside the paradigm of “feelings of the matter” rather than actual
👉🏽facts of the matter👈🏽… it’s like having a conversation with someone about Santa Claus!
Totally agree with you dude...
