I got pulled over on a bike at night for not having lights in Columbus OH. They tried to violate my rights. Good thing I know my rights.

Hello, some places it is a fire code violation to grill too close to a multi family dwelling because of the fire hazard and possibly the smoke.

@@gunrunner6578Then the officer should of interacted with the people who were standing around the fire, not leave and arrest someone because they didn't have a light on his bike that he was walking with on private property. The officer saw the fire and went to investigate it, not someone walking with at bike with no headlight. But he didn't even investigate the fire.

The problem with out legal system these days...there are SOOOOO MANY LAWS AND RULES AND REGULATIONS that every second of every day you are breaking something that they can arrest you for. It is only a matter of looking hard enough for them to find the reason. We are already to the point of arrest first, find crime later.
Nothing screams "free country" like being arrested for not having a light on your bike.
