This was extremely disturbing. You civil lawyers are about to see unprecedented violations, and until we the people can AFFORD to hire you, we're screwed. After all, people who have the capitol avoid the punishment. Bet. Guess what buddy, we shouldn't have to PAY for our rights to be upheld. So.... Do you do civil cases for free? If not, why?

Why would the news report this? They're complicit, it's the same corporations that are exploiting the for profit prison system. Slavery is a legal punishment for federal offenses in 13 states in the USA. Those same companies that are stealing slave labor to make their products for higher profit margins are also bankrolling corporate news media. If they reported on this, they'd have to start reporting on how the IDF trains riot police using tactics and weapons they tested on innocent Palestinians. It's an entire ecosystem that can't be partitioned out like that.

We had 4 that were cops.i out ranked them(i was a STAFF SERGEANT(E-6,)at the time, they were junior (E-5), some E-4. Every one of them thought they outranked me. 2 even threatened to "pull you over, search your car and arrest you " Why? Cause I disagreed that being a cop isn't like being in combat. They thought since they carried a gun, had a vest, went on patrol, that's akin to going to war. Since I had 2 previous combat tours, I told them they were wrong. One gave a call for fire (mortars, artillery) class. It was so messed up, I stood up and told the class,"DONT DO IT THIS WAY,you'll either be denied the fire support, or 33% chance they'll bomb you too." The Lieutenant, a wanna be cop, took their side. I had the company mortar chief come by, tell them it was wrong, and I still got counseling statements from that Lt.

@aceplaysgamesnetwork9566 I know there are great cops and horrible cops. My perception of this video from the gentleman who presented it just doesn't stem from what is shown. It's from the thousands of officers who we have seen from time to time being charged for literally terrorizing the community. Some of those cops were trigger happy or motivated by their supposed power they have in the communities around, and they were not only missusing their authority but also abusing the rights of citizens. I never said all cops act like that, just some officers who act like thugs or have that cult like state of mind. But don't sit her and try to tell me a fairytale about all cops being just, especially when their is proof. So what are your ties to the police? Are you an officer? Do you have family members who are in law enforcement or just a supporter who thinks officers are never wrong?

Do they usually get punished for that? Most of the time I’d say yes. There’s always going to be some who manage to hide the evidence and convince juries of innocence. I don’t know of any industry that doesn’t have people who do bad things. Obviously this video highlights what seems like the bad things police do. I have no idea if they represent the full context or the full context is explaining what not to do. I just know that I’d rather have police who have some accountability than having warlords and cartel having free reign over the country.

As a former law enforcement officer who graduated from the NJSP academy in 1995 I can assure you that this is the number 1 reason why police will always continue to violate rights and do whatever they want.
When I was trained, it was from veteran officers who spoke and acted exactly like this.
This is how we were trained.
My training officer was under investigation for stealing from crime scenes but yet they felt it was ok for him to train rookie officers!
It's been 29 years since I graduated, but the rookies in 1995 went on to become veteran officers who trained rookies to violate the rights of the public and now those rookies are going to be the same pieces of crap who will go on to train others to do the same.

You’re assuming the others filming weren’t filming to report it themselves.
The question is, how many people reported issues with the training? We don’t know. Also for smaller departments, if an officer wants training in addition to their minimal mandated training, the individual officer pays for it.
What should be looked into is how many people reported issues with the training but street cop ignored them. Why weren’t supervisors auditing training. Can’t blame officers for going to a training they are sent to or is reported to be made for them. Offended by people laughing at someone saying stupid stuff? Oh well. Doesn’t mean those same people laughing didn’t report it.
I myself have laughed in the moment at something and then reported it later that it was it only inappropriate in general but in the context of the audience it was worse. I found out a year later the that others had complained and the company was actually auditing the training due to complaints. The speaker had taken it upon himself to add some flavor to the course that had not been reviewed. My company didn’t send anyone back after I expessed my concerns. But I also know that someone complaining or being offended should not be taken at face value. It should be confirmed. I had a person report me to my company. Took everything out on context and actually change what I said. It was looked into. Luckily for me it was a recorded line and the conversation was reviewed in its entirety.
