    The laws need to change

    • @HeyBruceAlmighty
      @HeyBruceAlmighty 12 днів тому

      Unfortunately if you sue the cop, you'll never get your money. The courts can only judge against the cop and allow you to go after his assets. But if he doesn't have any you're SOL. All a judgement does is damage his credit for 10 years and you get to bring him to court for discovery of bank accounts. Easy fix for him, just move the money. There's no law that will put anyone in jail because you owe money for a judgement. Thus why you sue the city since he acted while on the job. It sucks that it's taxpayer's money but it is better for the victim's family so they can get paid after judgement without any hassle.

If a younger person could die from that number of shocks, then it would be worse for a elderly person. He didn't deserve to die for this. They were stronger than him, so the use of a tazer was not necessary. This man wanted to use lethal force from the start because he threatened him with violence at the beginning of the interaction. @Katherine_02 I try to explain to people how different things were before. The police weren't scared like now. They didn't need at least 6 officers for a traffic stop. They didn't have to frisk everyone they talked with. They could handcuff someone without a taser or 4 other cops kneeling on the person.
      This is so bad and so scary now. These videos show cops angry, aggressive, and vulgar at the onset of the encounter. It's crazy.

      That is exactly why outside of crazy people or someone who is just a real mcasshole people are happy to see people in those positions. Y'all showing up usually means a little releaf from the stress of the situation. Y'all are the people we know are there to save the day as well as it can be anyway. With most situations I would rather be able to see a paramedic about whatever is wrong then a doctor. I know I would rather have an IV inserted by you then any doctor. Fireman are the same. When they show up they are almost always big strong men who don't do the job for the money for sure. Y'all are all not paid enough for what you're worth for sure. Police forget protect and serve is why they are there. A perametic has a bad day someone can die but not intentionally. A cop has a bad day they can actually choose for someone to unalive just because they are in a bad mood. We thank military for their service but people often forget to thank you for yours.
