As a retired EMT and ER nurse, just listening to this man grunt, struggling to breathe and what the EMT said that the man grabbed for the O2, sure appeared that he had a PE (pulmonary embolus). This is a true medical emergency! Those EMT's should be tried for murder. The man grabbed for oxygen because he was scared because he was having a hard time breathing. Yes they effectively killed him. Good chance his life might have been saved with oxygen, theophlin and injection of steroids all of which are certain to have been in the ambulance 🚑. Once injected the steroids to help breathing take near immediate effect to help the breathing. As in after injection of steroid effect to help the breathing can possibly start in 60 seconds. They oxygen ,theophlin in mask and steroid injection should have been administered as soon as the ambulance 🚑 arrived to help him rather than to intentionally allow him to remain in distress continuing to die while they drive him to the hospital. That's why all the crap in the ambulance 🚑 known as medicine and the oxygen is in the ambulance 🚑. Otherwise it is a cab pretending to be an ambulance with staff who do not know how to do the job.

@@zachall101 There are a lot of medical situations where what may look like assault to some medically uneducated people is actually a person panicking. There are also medical situations where a person is not able to think clearly, and because their body is having an emergency they may act in ways that are not intended to be assault. Blood sugar emergencies, head injuries, lack of oxygen, seizure states, even coming out of anesthesia. The body is trying to save itself. They are not trying to hurt anyone or being abusive. You just can't equate the two things. If a person can't get beyond that then they should not be working in the medical field because people like that are an actual danger to patients. It can kill people which is what happened to this poor man here. He was the victim, not her.

The fact that not even the Police would take him to the hospital and people are just standing around him while he's passed out shows that these people lack functioning brains. I've unfortunately suffered a similar issue. I was the only patient in an emergency room waiting room one morning, and it was an emergency situation. I am terminally ill, but anyways long story short, I was kicked out and told I wasn't allowed to be seen. All I did was ask a nurse for a tissue as I was crying and my nose was running. I am a young guy but I was diagnosed with CTE from traumatic brain injuries. I have cluster headaches everyday, and they last for months or even years at a time, but I have a lot of other symptoms. I am now stage 4 and will either die from dementia or any other number of things. At the time I went to the ER, I had a 12/10 headache, my blood oxygen level was really low and I had lost 50lbs in past few months without trying and was getting way too thin. I couldn't eat much and had no appetite at the time, the headaches usually come with nausea as well as crushing pain. Anyways long story short, the nurse said I could just grab a tissue myself, so I asked which box as there were different boxes and I pointed and she yes, so I grabbed one. She got mad and said now she'd have to throw the whole box out, or some dumb shit. She then told me to go and cry to my mom, who had driven me to hospital and was out front. So I went to tell her what happened and next thing I know there is security and other workers there and she said I wasn't welcomed back in. I never yelled or acted crazy, nothing, in fact I had spoken to all of the other people there and everyone was really nice. I had literally just told the lady at the front how impressed I was with how fast they were able to triage me and that it was empty. I was very polite to everyone and I asked three times which box before I grabbed one.
Anyways we ended up having to drive to another hospital and on the way we called 911 and I had to take ambulance to the nearest hospital, which meant I had to tell them to take me to a further away one. I honestly never expected some horrible shit like this to happen, but unfortunately COVID ruined the hospital situation in America. Yet many female nurses have always been evil or just nasty people, trust me I've been in the hospital enough to know. I've seen them mistreat elderly people, talk bad about patients or make fun of them, I've seen them do some messed up shit. Many of them are complete bitches and I feel sorry for the man or whoever has to live with them. It used to be they would treat you well, like a customer of a fine restaurant or whatever. Now it's like McDonals and they're angry you're returning your cold burger and they have to remake it. I've seen hospital staff and security threaten to call Police and have people arrested for trespassing if they didn't leave. The first time it was a father and he was told he had to leave the hospital, only one parent was allowed do to COVID, but this was like 2 years into the virus. Another man was yelling at the staff to help his dying wife and they were yelling back at him that they were calling the Police, and he said call them, do whatever you want to me, but your going to help my dying wife. Man just avoid the hospital at all cost, that is what I do nowadays.

I am sure its not just elderly the youth too but may be hen pecking. You just can't trust not a one sometimes. We know not all of them are like this and so many love saving life. This is just sickening and they still continue to think African/ African Americans are suppose to continue taking this type of treatment. The New Year has came and they came raining into the New year of 2024 with more hate and raclsm. Its truly sad. All involved need to be fired with no pension. They didn't say wait hey this guy has a serious breathing problem and not getting enough air. Get moving to trauma but yet a police car was parked sideways in front of the ambulance to cut off not wanting them to move anyway blocking the life line of saving that mans life. These are the types that will murder you if they dont like the color of your skin or they don't think you talk proper enough or just dont fit the good type they want to see.

I was trailed as a lifeguard many years ago. One of the characteristics of a drowning person or a person who cannot breathe is that they will grab the nearest available person to save them. Both the Paramedics and the Police are wilfully negligent. The Paramedics and Police Officers need to be prosecuted, convicted and sentenced to prison for negligent homicide. Also the Paramedics, the ambulance company, the Police Officers and Police Department need to be sued for both actual damages and punitive damages. The fact that this is a case of willful, deliberate criminal negligence should be sufficient to eliminate any sort of immunity. This was criminal behavior on the part of the Police and Paramedics.

4 Police cruisers, to remove a Man from an Ambulance.
    A dying Man.
The Female nurse was totally unprofessional, cruel.
Not used to deal with persons in distress.

I am a retired paramedic. The EMS crew is totally incompetent. The man was obviously having respiratory issues. Sometimes when you can’t get oxygen you become anxious and combative. I once had a head injured patient kick my ass the whole way to the hospital because he was disoriented from the head injury not because he was being nasty. At least the police finally decided this gentleman needed help. This is patient abandonment.

While I do agree with most of what you said, if the guy was, for any reason, putting the health and safety of the EMTs at risk, they are will within their right to ask for police assistance and put him in restraints before treating any further. I'm not trained as an EMT, but I have had basic first aid training and the first thing I was taught was to never put myself at risk to treat a patient. Doing so can just add another victim for other EMTs to have to rescue.
What would have happened if that out of control patient you described, while kicking your ass, knocked you unconscious? How would he get any more treatment then? Now you'd need another TWO ambulances and EMTs to take both YOU AND your patient to the hospital! Where they went wrong was in not paying attention to the patient while sorting out what was going on and making sure to offer him treatment with police on hand to retain him if he starts acting up or panicking again. It's the PUNISHMENT mentality in our justice systems (both USA and Canada) that's the problem. What should have happened is the cops should have assessed the situation, realized it's a panicking man, and offer to be available to put him in restraints if his behaviour endangers the EMTs again, so they can treat him in safety. Those stretchers have tie downs and restraints on them for a reason, so if a patient's thrashing about for any reason, they can lay him down on the stretcher and tie him/her down to prevent too much thrashing about so they can treat the patient more safely.
