      Thank you for the update!
It seems my initial assessment of the treatment of this couple and their child, in the initial viral video, was pretty much spot on. With the exception of the update information you have given us. Such as the Kenosha, Wisconsin police department’s absolute bullshit defense of the obviously predatory behavior of the officers who violently attacked the couple and infant, and then not request or offer medical assistance. Unbelievably all occurring after being informed that the couple and infant were patrons of the restaurant for more than 30 minutes before the unreasonably brutal use of force. There is no defense according to the body cam footage and information you provided.
My initial assessment of the viral video:
This is another fine example of “in today’s day and age”:
Law enforcement officers will unlawfully arrest you. After violating your civil rights by violently attacking you, beating you while holding your infant child. Violently attack, assault, batter and pepper spray your wife. Denying either of you medical care placing you in handcuffs, kidnapping you taking you to jail. All without RAS (Reasonable Articulable Suspicion) much less probable cause of a crime. Receive a free paid vacation for their criminal actions. Will NOT be charged criminally for their actions. Receive only minimal punishment of a number of days off. Ultimately costing taxpayers millions before it’s all said and done. Sometimes tens of millions.

You are probably at more risk when the police have wrongly arrested, assaulted, beaten you, tased you and broken your wrist - than if you've actually committed a crime . . . If you've committed a crime, they have something to cover their use of force . . . whereas if you're innocent, the stakes are far higher (for the police), they will go all out to drum up as many charges as possible to cover themselves . . . I imagine a person breaking into cars gets charged with breaking into cars, whereas someone, who is (wrongly) thought to be breaking into cars, after being thrown to the ground, punched, tased, kicked, cuffed and arrested - and turns out to be innocent - will face a far more extensive list of charges . . . it's simple, the actual criminal is guilty, he will be dealt with by the courts, the innocent victim of their violence is a much more dangerous prospect for them, they need to completely cover all angles, they need to make sure this person gets charged with something, anything.

They even went as far as forcing 2 of them over my car hood and searching them while I was 20ft away looking my house door. They claimed they had "multiple calls", and that "they both matched the description to a tee", but my buddies had only been outside for 20 or 30 seconds longer than me.

There is bodycam footage of the police trying to railroad this family into incarceration...And this is the biggest wrong that you can do in the country. If anyone was not corrupt, the people wouldn't have to sue to get justice. The DA should press charges against these cops. The DA has the power, just not the will. In 2 instances in my life, the DA's in Colorado and Alabama have taken matters into their own hands and got staggering results. One involved child abuse by my ex-husband against one of my sons. The DA told me that even if I didn't pursue it, they would. The other was against the same ex for not paying child support for 8 years. The DA got mad and went after him, first garnisheeing his check for triple the amount before court. Of course if my ex had been a cop, he'd still have gotten off scot free, I'd imagine, except that this was 30 years ago and no qualified immunity, so...maybe....

"Good Men shouldn’t rise to office because they want it for their own gain. But Good Men should rise to office because it is their moral duty to prevent evil men from doing so". - Plato
This quote from Plato basically means that if you’re indifferent to public affairs or politics, you’re going to be victims to evil men in the sense that those who are good, generally have no need to amass control over others. Evil men on the contrary require control over others so that they are not held accountable for their crimes.
Good men are often humble and don’t require positions of authority for self-validation.
