I went from being a 30-year vegetarian/frequent vegan to Keto overnight. It was six-weeks of agony of sugar and carb withdrawal and readjustment. I'm 73 now, Keto for 8 years, moving toward carnivore, and feel great. All illnesses have vanished!
UPDATE: Five months Carnivore now. Lost 15 pounds. Face wrinkles are gone. Vericose veins gone. Mental and emotional clarity increased. Love this way of eating.

@@dianasthings729 Thanks! I eat a lot of butter. I haven't tried cheese yet, but lately I have been looking for a good hard cheese. I haven't had many cravings at all, during my 5 months of strict Carnivore. But a week ago I started wanting something cold. Ice cream was what I wanted. Not wanting all that sugar, I made my own -- heavy cream, a small amount of coconut nectar, a dash of vanilla and some frozen strawberries. I ate it over the course of a week. No sinus issues and I am still alive. I'm eating 99.5 beef and am loving it.

The duet was 😍😍😍 Six weeks in, ex vegan... Actually ex everything because I'm desperate to fix sinus problems... Within the first week my stomach bloat went away for the FIRST TIME IN MY Life, my ears are no longer congested, a weird bump on my nose I had for 30 years vanished, and my fog has cleared. I'm so shocked this worked.

I started this for my neuropathy but I took decongestants almost daily and felt like I had been hit in the face with a cricket bat most mornings but never had a runny or blocked nose. After 6 days I was looking for a pen and opened the junk draw, saw the decongestants and said out loud "oh I haven't taken these all week" so I went on an Internet mooch and found out that I may have inherited my father's very bad migraines (I had always considered myself lucky as the first generation not to have them in over 100 years) to find out not only had I had frontal migraines all this time, I was self medicating them and carrying on in pain without looking after myself(the get over it is strong in this one) I haven't felt this well in 20 years. Carnivore has made me well and I will never go back. I had a bit of crap the other week(sons 21st and by crap I mean a very small pastry and a bit of side salad) a few days ago my ears started crackling like popcorn and my tinnitus is really bad, hadn't even realised it had gone untill it came back, I've had it since I was 2/3 years old. Never having a cheat again.

I was SO skinny after 7 months of paleo-ish eating. The 15lb weight gain after only a few months of carnivore was difficult but I knew the havoc that plants had wreaked on my system. Although my weight gain was spread throughout my body, like Bella has spoken about, my body is starting to de-puff and is beginning to look much more feminine. And yes, eating fat and protein w fasting helps you build muscle without even trying!! I believe that the carnivore diet is truly changing my body into what it was designed to be and making me physically stronger than ever. If you are healthy on the inside, you will look the way you are supposed to look.

Boobs.. It's the type of breast tissue. This is from a plastic surgeon. Dense breast tissue does not get smaller when you lose weight. Fatty tissue gets smaller (loses fat) when you lose weight.
So it will be the opposite when putting on any fat. It happened both ways with mine and I found out last year with my first mammogram that I have the mostly fatty breast tissue.
So as I lose weight again and this time will lose more, I just know I need to get a great pushup bra because they looked great in them after losing weight.

Hi Kelly! This is my first time I have been to your channel. Several years back I saw you on Dr. Ken Berry's channel. It was the first time I saw someone who had lost so much weight and healed their body from many health problems by eating a carnivore diet. It has taken me a long time to warm up to the idea of going on a carnivore diet because I am so used to thinking you must eat fruits and vegetables.
Today after seeing the before and after photos of Butter Bob Briggs and watching a video from Bella before coming here... I am warming up to the idea. My choice is to either do another round of the HCG diet or start on a carnivore diet. I am ALWAYS hungry, so to hear testimonials of people who are losing weight, gaining energy, improving their health and not being constantly hungry by eating butter and steak... it does sound appealing!!!
There are so many postive testimonials in the comments also!
If I jump in and decide to start the carnivore diet, I will definitely have to add the raw dairy and see if I can improve my cup size. 😂 Good tip from Bella!!!
All the best and God bless you! 🛐❤

so, i did dirty keto, keto, now carnivore, started cooking everything I can in lard, eating fatty meat, working out. maintaining weight, so far. gained from 90-100-137. 140 post high school on a carb diet. 137 lil to no carbs. i guess that means it's all muscle.
i had to start working out to make the muscles grow back, though. i haven't worked out as hard as i do since high school, 11-12 years ago.

Bella and Kelly, I want to thank you for this. I’m watching a year and a half, almost, after you aired it, so I have no idea if you will ever see this … but I want to thank you over and over again. In April 2021, my husband and I went keto, then carnivore in October 2021. I am more “keto-vore” than my husband. In the year, from April 2021 to April 2022, I lost 75 lbs; I still have another 60 ish I want to lose. However in December I almost stalled. I was still losing minimally, but it was a struggle. About April, I heard Kelly say, “There is no need to fast on a carnivore diet”. That empowered me to trust eating 2MAD, which I find far easier than OMAD, which I had been doing for almost a year. I have been slowly gaining since beginning OMAD-only five pounds at this point, but it was still worrying. I am *so* grateful that you are discussing this, because it is allowing me to just trust the process. I am trying to stay off the scale, and I’m also trying not to measure (because yes, I have gained back an inch). I will trust the process. Thank you thank you thank you. I know this is right for me because I do feel *so* much better!!!

This was brilliant, thank you. My appetite went up but my weight went down when I started. I felt like I just couldn't eat enough to keep the weight on. Once I was fat adapted my hunger went down and now I eat half what I did when I started and my weight is stable. Some days I'm OMAD, but most days I prefer twice a day, like S&BG, I eat a large meal and then a second if/when I'm hungry. I have to add salt or I get leg cramps but some days I crave it, some days it's just a small sprinkling. It's fascinating how we all have these subtle differences. I'm 18 months in and thriving. 95% animal based, mostly beef, wild meats, free range eggs and occasional local low carb veggies like squash/pumpkin (mashed with butter) or fruit like avocado and olives. I LOVE this way of eating.

I grew up on my mom’s steam ‘water eggs’ too. Bella, I feel like kinder spirit with you. I was also vegan and has terrible cystic acne that went away after I started eating meat and dropped the green smoothie & carbs. I’m keto/low carb for the past 4 years. Feeling better than ever but I couldn’t shake the sugar craving until I tried eating butter straight like you teach. The last week, no sugar craving!! Incredible!!! I feel like I can go carnivore. I’m so curious how I would feel and look. I’m 5’7 60kg, not much to lose but I would like to see more muscle definition. I do 15 minutes kettle workout 5 times a week. 15 minutes rebounding. Keep up the amazing work! Love you girls!

I really look up to and respect both of you. I have autoimmune disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and I am trying to do full carnivore but seem to be failing daily. Mostly with drinks and cheese whisps. I really desire to just go full blown carnivore to try and heal my gut and feel better. I just can’t even think about gaining weight because I have been so overweight previously, 325lbs was my highest weight. I have lost down to 160-165 range and still have a lot of fat on my body so I don’t know how to handle gaining anything!

It’s only been 5 weeks carnivore plus last years attempt at carnivore which left me dehydrated with leg and foot cramps. Now I take magnesium and I don’t eat as much fat. I’m experimenting I will get this right !!!!!

Not a doctor here, but I would be willing to bet that the weight gain was the hormonal response to the body seeking homeostasis and in time, becoming satisfied that a course correction had occurred. The fact that the menstrual cycles returned is kind of hinting at that. Just increased estrogen alone will cause fluctuations and there are a bunch more hormones involved with these changes. I think in the end, a healthy body makes the slow, safe, course correction on it's own when given the proper tools. Strictly my opinion.

I think the thing with you eating more was that your bodies were so malnourished that now it had access to crucial nutrients, it was going to demand them until your nutrient levels were where they needed to be. The human body is very clever and amazing.

I"m laughing at each of their stories cuz mine was and is so different. I have always loved meat and when I was vegan that is what I missed the most. Then I went Keto. Was gaining weight and had so many health problems that I started investigating inflammation and came upon the incredible Carnivore health stories - ok this matches up with theirs, but when I first started, I am in seven days now, I ate hamburger meat that first day and was sick of my all-time fave meat. I ate twice that day two patties each. By the second day I had one patty and I couldn't stand the smell or thought eating any more - I did try. Then every day since I have had one meal a day. I did eat Ribeye one day and loved that. It is a work in progress I am committed!

About the salt thing... I had leg cramps yesterday and it was the first day in about 2 weeks I had excessive salt on my carnivore diet... I think I'm going to stick with lower salt from here on out (until my body tells me). I feel like the past three years of going keto, then carnivore, has been a constant learning and unlearning of everything I ever knew about diet... I think both of you for your insight because if it wasn't for you too I would not have thought to lower salt. Plus my BP has dropped CONSIDERABLY from it in only a months time. From 210/ 110 to 130/85!!!
