Actually raw honey is very good for you, it is not bee vomit. Just because someone says they are a doctor doesn't mean they actually are. 2 minutes in, and nope this is not working. I'll find someone who knows what they are talking about, because this man does not.
Hippocrates once said "Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food'. The Hippocratic Oath used to be the foundation of all med schooling but alas no longer.

Watching your videos here on UA-cam has changed my life - 42 days ago I was a 100% disabled combat veteran who lost his wife October last year…I was 193lbs at 5’8” and couldn’t do anything with my twin 6 year old boys. Most days I stayed in bed, sometimes not even able to use the bathroom by myself. I had enough, quit taking all my medicine except for my injections every 90 days and started fasting while finding a diet with science behind it tailoring to my TBI/MS with accompanying complications. After 4 days of fasting I got a couple of 25lbs dumbbells for upper body strength and one bigger 50lb weight for lower body strength. I have now been doing my regular routines every day, carnivore diet and intermittent fasting for a grand total of 42 days - I cannot begin to explain what a difference it has made in our lives. Daddy is back with a vengeance with a body of a fit college kid and down to about 9% body fat…I look and FEEL absolutely amazing and everyone around me, especially my kids, are just flabbergasted and dumbstruck about my transformation. After being alone, depressed and cooped up in my bedroom for an entire year…I am now participating in my kids soccer, gymnastics and flag football…no pain, no ataxia and no worries!!! TRY THIS PLEASE PEOPLE, YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED.
Wow, this is an absolutely beautiful story. I'm surprised no one else commented! I'm so happy for you and for your boys. You have changed the course of their lives, and yours, forever! How are you doing with it now?
@@benscott19841 Thanks. He's done all he said for 42 days and gone from 193lbs to 9% body fat?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I call BS. This guy is trolling. I hope no one else fell for it.
I’m Celiac and doing Carnivore I can afford to buy the best of the best as I’m not forking out big money on GF breads and rubbish. I feel so much better, 64 going on 15. 😘
You save so much money too based on how much less you eat. Once you're fat adapted and eating fat rich foods, you can fast and go days or longer without having any hunger at all. The whole eat three meals a day everyday thing is crap.
I just got diagnosed with Celiac & other issues, so I'm starting a carnivore diet. I figured it was easier than trying to figure out where the lectins, oxalates & molds were hiding! The simplicity of shopping & cooking would be great if the rest of my family would join me, lol.
Have had the worst gluten rash yet, for a couple weeks. Cheated on keto to eat a giant plate of nachos from a restaurant. I'm slowly converting to carnivore. Feel like crap.
I just did a grocery shop and it was HALF the price of my normal shop. I even bought some fancy keto cheese "chips" and the best butter/bacon/eggs you can get in the store.
I have attempted carnivore twice now and did well for several months each time. Two times I have had some very devastating life events that caused me to fall off of carnivore so currently I am in pretty bad shape. I'm in constant pain and very inflamed, I am 30-35 lbs. over normal weight and although labs have been "stable" I do not feel well and I cannot sleep hardly at all unless I take OTC sleep aid. Time to get with it once again and if anyone sees this, please say a prayer for me. I turn 64 Oct. 9th so I want to give this to myself as a birthday present! God bless you Dr. Berry!
Same here.. I'm 56 and currently clearing the sugar and carbs etc out of my house to start carnivore again. It's difficult when hard times come by, but I'm determined to get back on board with it too especially after seeing my elderly parents health issues, in hospital, probably due to diet..I'm a bad sleeper too, currently 2.30am. Good luck and enjoy your birthday 9th October 🎉🙏
@@jstanders6973 Thank you and good luck to you as well. I understand about the sleep issues. I'm a chronic insomniac, but hoping that will improve on carnivore too. You can do it! We are worth it ❤ God bless!
Today is month #9 on carnivore, I started out at 309 lbs. Now as of June 30th. I just tipped the scale at 197 lbs. Yes I did still cheat, but have 90% carnivore. I went from size 46" jeans to 36" jeans, size XXXL shirts to XL shirts. People listen to this man, he knows what he's talking about......
I am starting this today. I weigh 238 and want to get below 200! I don't have a lot of money to do GF anything. What do you eat daily to lose weight and get healthy??
I eat a lot of eggs for one, made in as many ways I can I.e. fried, scrambled, boiled, lots of omelettes. Hamburger in lots of ways. Some with eggs, lots of bacon. But mostly you MUST CUT out all sugars, you MUST CUT out grains, you MUST CUT out soda’s, STOP using margarine and switch to butter. You can eat all meat products, just stay away from many spices.
1. Seafood, eggs and butter are just fine to eat 2. Eat fat 3. Eat enough electrolytes 4. Eat enough omega-3 and get get rid of vegetable oils 5. Eat organ meat (especially liver) and bone marrow 6. Eat collagen (not in powder) 7. Watch out for imitated seafood 8. No rubs, sauces, marinades and gravies 9. Don't go eating out (unless you're very clear about what you can't eat) 10. Quiting carnivore to soon 11. Don't limit your portions, eat as much you want 12. Try to limit processed meat (OK if you can't afford anything else) 13. Eat salt 14. Don't overcook your meat 15. You don't need to take supplements
@@Zobby447 Hello Matt. If your definition of plain gravy is the delicious stuff in the pan after you cook, oh boy yes! I will put a bit of water, bone broth, or roast stock into a pan to lift all the goody. But like Phyllis said, I don't add flour or corn starch.
While I agree that honey has too many carbs to qualify for the carnivore diet, honey is not bee vomit. Bees carry nectar back to the hive in a pouch in their esophagus (after all, they can't really carry around tiny little buckets); it never gets down to the stomach and so, technically, it is not vomit. We beekeepers really don't like to hear that honey is bee vomit; we especially don't appreciate hearing it from a medical professional who should know better than to use such terminology to refer to a valuable agricultural product. In addition, I am a retired veterinarian. Believe me, I know the difference between vomit & honey.
It took the video down a notch immediatly as soon as he said it. Kinda cringe as we are in the same area as when vegans say "eggs are hens periods and it's disgusting to eat" - hello ideology.
In the same way that milk/cream (for your butter) is similar to mucous/snot?...sure. But no, no saliva, at least, not as we know it to be. Besides, in the grand scheme of things, saliva is better than vomit.@@chad1659
Agreed. I mean, honey has been used as food for thousands of years. For a medical doctor to compare honey to vomit, in order to keep people from consuming it, seems manipulative to me.@@violakarl6900
Honey is a food, not a breakdown or decay of food. Bees use their honey pouches to store it (not stomachs) and then add enzymes to it when they release it back up through their mouths. The expressed concern for those on a carnivore diet that the honey is primarily carbs is valid but honey is not regurgitated matter from the stomach. It is stored nectar in the honey pouch and enzymes are added by the bees as part of the process of making honey. Honey is known throughout time to restore health in the body as well as give important nutrients for sustenance. It is and has been beneficial to countless numbers of human beings. I find much of this doctor’s understanding of how the body meets nutritional needs and the processes it uses as being both rudimentary and overall not sound. For another example he recommends a supplement (he said he would put in the description but it’s not there) that is as far from eating nutrients the way our ancestors ate them as it gets. There are no supplements that can substitute for eating animals and animal by products via a manufacturing process that is anything near the same as the products themselves. I’m not against supplements, it depends on a number of factors. My point is that he wholesale discounts, for example, all collagen powder but then recommends this particular supplement company that indeed manufactures collagen, along with glandulars and fish eggs and intestines. Intestinal contents by the way are pre digested food that is in the process of breaking down. It is a great source of nutrients BUT if we are talking about something that has gone through the stomach (of ruminants) and is now in a state of break down through fermentation, it isn’t food but rather it is pre digested material - similar to what he is claiming honey to be. But nectar in the pouch of a bee for transport is not pre digested, thus it’s not breaking down. I’m not saying that those on a carnivore or keto diet want any carbs in their diet, often there is a strictness about carbs due to what some on these diets experience as soon as they have sugar or grains, which can be bloating and a sense of distress as the body uses bacteria and yeast to break down the carbs and sugars causing fermentation to achieve enzymes for transport. However unlike eating the predigested content of the intestines and stomachs of ruminants, honey is a food by all definitions. It is created through nectar and enzymes, not through a breakdown in the stomach and digestive tract. Of note: Carbs become sugar as they break down, proteins become amino acids, and fats become fatty acids. When sugar is an issue for the body due in large part to the difficulty of the body in making enzymes for transport, a protein/fat diet can bypass this issue. However beware, you can see that some people running long term on solely protein/fat begin to cannibalise the tissues excessively. Tea and honey is good to explore as at least a bit of a bridge to a healthy carb. If excessive tissue loss (loss of muscle, ligaments, tendons, bone, cartilage) starts to occur, seek professional assistance. And, be sure to take feedback from those around you as to whether you’re waning, you may not notice the tissue loss is excessive. If the latter occurs, loss of tissue and an inability to perceive it occurring, it is serious as it is the definition of an eating disorder.
Started 4 weeks ago. I’m 6’2 I was 278 lbs. 31 years old. I was eating a lot of pasta, bread, fried foods and processed snacks. The difference in the short time I’ve been doing it is incredible. I was glued to my chair with ZERO energy. My old shoulder surgery injury always bothered me. My knees always hurt and my autoimmune where I get very nauseous quite often always bothered me. After 4 weeks all that is gone. I’m 17lbs down. My belly is almost gone. I’m down 2 belt loops. My pants fall off. All my aches pains are gone. And my auto immune is almost none existent. I don’t ever want to go back.
Very inspiring I am going to start carnivore, I am on keto and OMAD 6 years, I have shoulder and knee problems too.I am addicted to salad but I will see how it goes, I am just worry if I don't get enough potassium and something happen my kidneys, do you take electrolytes and any specific brand?
@@aylinurgun5244 Electrolytes help tremendously. I do better with the unflavored type, but a friend at work swears by the flavored types. Do you drink distilled water? I use it for tea and decaf coffee as well. It breaks down the oxalates and helps much like using it in a coffee maker. It keeps the mineral deposits from building up. If you continue with salads, it is important to switch up varieties each 5-10 days to avoid kidney stones. Best wishes to you.
I live in Patagonia, it is a livestock area, mainly sheep and for many years the main diet of the population in my region was mutton and natural cow's milk and very few vegetables, the breakfasts of the farms were mutton chops and it was cooked with fat, in the houses people had chickens and fresh eggs, natural milk, fresh or cured mutton. We were always told that our diet was unhealthy, but there were very few obese people and the health of the people in my region compared to the rest of Chile was very good. My great-grandmother lived to be 104 years old and several of her siblings lived to be 96 and 98 years old. All those autoimmune diseases did not exist.

There's one problem with this diet: gallstones. I had my gallbladder removed because of eating eggs. the underlying cause is cholesterol malabsorption. Since then I've had to eat lean not for weight loss, but to avoid digestion problems as I can no longer breakdown fat.
@@karenharrison885 You have been misinformed. Your gallbladder problem most likely was caused by having too many carbs from eating a standard american diet, not from eating eggs. You absolutely can do carnivore or keto without a gallbladder, many people have posted videos and comments that have done so. Your liver doesn't stop making bile.
Side note. As a chef, if you are a customer on a specific diet and you simply say "I'm allergic to x" to make sure we take every precaution to keep it out your diet, please let us know when you book the table, not when sat with a menu. By letting us know when you book the table, we have time to prepare and take the right precautions whereas if you do it in the middle of a busy service, it adds stress onto the chefs and we have to spend longer on said customer, meaning all the other customers will wait longer 🙏

Retired husband and wife living in this house and mostly just Social Security for income. Too expensive is not an excuse for not eating carnivore. @@alfrednewman292 you'd think that but you'd be wrong. it is true that the ratio of nutrients is different, but it is not devoid of nutrition or lacking, just a different ratio. while the system needs to change for the welfare of us, the environment, and the animals, the meat is still nutritious.

I did keto 3 and a half years ago and went from 432lbs to 231lbs in 18 months. However, over the following year, went back to old ways and got back up to 390lbs. Ive been struggling with keto this time round, the weight wast dropping off me like it did before so thought Id give this a whirl. 10 days in and so far so good, feel fuller than keto, no cravings, see how it goes.
There is a weird transition of about 3-5 days. When I first started I had a pop addiction. The transition days were very painful for some reason my pain went way up. I had chronic arthristis in my spine and muscle pain. After 3 days the pain went away and for some reason I couldn't drink the pop.. So my sugar intake went to basically zero. One thing I recently learned though is you have to take vit D and A or you get acne. And I am trying to sort out this constipation issue but I assume I am lacking some nutrients somewhere but Ill figure it out. The weight loss in only 2 months is too impressive to go back to eating crap food.

We have such a terrible habit and it's all driven by the food industry.. what drives the medical industry.. which drives pharmaceutical companies.. all you have to do is stop eating.. don't eat anything in a bag or a box or anything that's processed at all. Stop all the soda. Stop the cigarettes.. believe in yourself.. and you won't need the medical facilities anymore and they will end up going out of business like they should be. This video was so information dense and almost no rambling, its one of the few videos that I actually sat through and just listened to a guy talk for 20 minutes.
Really enjoyed this video...I was told my whole life that I needed to eat fruits, vegetables, juices, grains and such. I never enjoyed them but I did eat them because I was told that is the way it is. When I got into my 20"s, with no one telling me what to do I ate strictly meat and I felt great. My only problem is I am an alcoholic. My reason for drinking was because I was a loner and never felt comfortable in social situations without being drunk. I did this for a very long time...I got married when I was 38 (for the first, and hopefuly the only time), I met a fantastic lady who is a very social (as if it's a bad thing) person and continued to drink to keep up with being social. I finally got sick of feeling like crap every morning from the booze and decided to quit. It was 2 weeks before I started to quit drinking that I ran into a friend of mine that I used to work with that told me he was on a carnivore diet. I asked, what is that and he told me he read a book by Shawn Baker, he tried it and he was feeling great. With the respect I had for my friend, I decided to try it and it changed my life!!! I did the carnivore thing, ate eggs, ribeye steaks, bacon, butter and sometimes some suit and before I new it I was feeling better. I decided to quit drinking beer (my flavor of choice) and I found it much easier to quit than I thought it would be. I don't know if the carnivore diet work for everyone but it's worth giving a try.

Absolutely fabulous video; I used to be a chubby little guy but not anymore; I’ve been doing a carnivore diet for approximately 3 months now & my high blood pressure is now in normal range & no longer medication controlled, blood lipid profile is excellent, I’m slim & wear skinny jeans, smaller sized Ts & shirts & I’ve noticed some women are noticing me.
Carnivorse helped my psoriasis, eczema and puffy face. But I was only able to stick with it for about 2 weeks. Went back to coke zero, dairy, and alcohol -- and my problems resumed
Thats great to hear man i have psoriasis and just started carnivore on day 4. How long did it take for results? Any tips you have would be so helpful 🙏
Hello Doctor Berry. My name is Ron Montijo and I am a Type 2 recently diagnosed 64 year old diabetic who has been frantically searching for a remedy(ies) to cure or reverse my condition. I just finished listening to CARNIVORE Diet Mistakes (15 Carnivore Diet Tips) 2024 and totally loved it and took many notes. Making up my HEALTHY SHOPPING LIST. I REALLY DO LOVE ME SOME Steak & Yokes.... Thank You Dr. Berry. I'll keep you posted as to my recovery... Ron Montijo Latest Carnivore Initiate
Hi Ron I eat the Pork Chops that come in an assorted pack. Where I live in Washington State it only $1.98 to $2.10 a pound when available at Winco or Safeway. Drizzled with seasoning salt both sides and then fried on medium heat in butter for 2 minutes each side. Depending on how done you like it.. Taste heavenly!!! Try it!!!
Thank you for doing what you do. I started the carnivore diet in January I was 300 lb and now I weigh 213 lb. Thanks to you and some other UA-camrs I have no more skin tags. No more anxiety My blood pressure. I got rid of one a blood pressure pill and I feel fantastic my kids. Thank you. My wife thinks you and I thank you and I hope I can inspire other people to do the same
I started Carnivore on Nov 2nd and lost 7lbs and I have IBS and cancer survivor with one kidney. So far so good, no IBS and normal bowl movement. Thank you.
Finally someone who has my issues, 1 kidney ,missing some colon and rectal cancer survivor. Hashimotos and hypothyroidism...hoping is doable and will move th scales..thank you for sharing..
How long did it take for IBS to go away? Im 6 days in no changes yet. But on the side im drinking some coconut water and eating honey idk if that would affect the diet but its hard to go strict on it

So, I got my step father of 75 years of age to do carnivore and he lost 25lbs in 2 weeks. His doctor freaked out and said that his liver enzymes are very high with this diet and the drug he takes that combats muscle fatigue. I suggested that he change his 3 meals a day habit and get rid of the drug. He has finally changed his eating habits once he regained the weight. He no longer takes the advice from the drug doctor. And now understands that the fewer meals a day from 11am to 4pm is key. Yay, he lost the weight that he struggled with. Bye bye food pyramid and 3 meals a day to support the food industry.
Thank you so much Dr. Berry! I am so excited you have no idea. I just started carnivore on May 7, 2023 and by May 15, 2023 my fasting glucose went from the 120s low 100s to 85 and 77. And I’m talking a matter of one week. I have lost about 6 to 8 pounds to be honest I’m not even keeping track of the Lbs. I know that as long as I keep my glucose numbers down, the fat will come off. The hunger has vanished, completely vanished. This is incredible. I literally went from eating three meals a day to one meal a day without not even the least of struggles, I have more energy where before I had to eat to get energy. The cravings are completely gone. I cannot believe I did not try this sooner! The junk that we hear that we need to eat vegetables is nonsense. What we really need is to eat the proper human diet, I cannot thank you enough. This is my new way of life my new way of living because I am living now. May God bless you and your beautiful family.
@Ez4u99 Your body won't break down muscle for energy unless you're literally starving for weeks or longer without food. One pound of fat is 3,500 calories, so even eating every 2 days, you won't suffer muscle loss. ✌️😎
Just passed day 30 on carnivore and it’s nothing short of amazing! Wow! What’s also amazing is how people get so wierd and judgmental when they ask about it?!? Guess I never realized how dysfunctional most people’s relationship with food is… meanwhile I’ll just keep eating carnivore and living my best, healthiest life!
Thanks to this honest doc, my life's changed. Was fat, hypertensive and on medication, techycardia and it's medication, borderline diabetes type 2. Now off all meds, lost 22 kilograms, all just in 14 months.
I never felt so bad physically and mentally as when I was vegan for two years. Always sick, fat, constant gut issues, depressed and always always hungry. Meat makes me feel full, energized and happy
I was strictly vegan for a year. I thought I was doing fine, a little on the thin side. A friend though was concerned for me and urged me to eat some milk products, and WOW! Suddenly I had energy I didn't even know I was lacking. I realized that I was weakened by the diet, and the milk products brought a lot of strength back into my body. I've never tried veganism after that, and I felt from that day on that it's not healthy for anyone, despite all the hype about it.
a healthy body is well stocked in calcium = good brain matter/tight skin / strong bones/ healthy muscle...oxalates (oxalic acid) in plants loves to bind with calcium in the intestines, and when the oxalates are passed out the system it takes your much needed calcium with it, thats why when you are old your bones are brittle, skin loose, hair falling out and all your joints are inflammed...all those with GOUT just for one week before you put a plant in your mouth google it make sure it is oxalate free, after a week your gout will be gone (or going ) even the most sceptic among you can give it a week surely
Dr. Berry you are the most important thing that has ever happened to my wife and I. I have lost 110# and my wife 47# in the last 9 months and we both either down to our optimal weight or very close to it and it's ALL BECAUSE OF YOU !
Thank you Dr. Berry! Ive been doing carnivore for 140 days now. Went from 265 down to 195 and just hanging out at 195 now. I stopped taking my blood pressure meds 45 days ago and its now 116/68 and my resting heart rate is 58 where it used to be 85. Between your videos and my DOT Physical are both things that got me to change my life. It's not a diet anymore, its a way of life
I JUST GOT DIAGNOSED 2 DAYS AGO, YOUR VIDEOS GAVE ME STRENGHT AND HOPE, I WAS DESPERATE, THANK YOU!!!!!! I WILL FOLLOW YOUR ADVICE AND I WILL LET YOU KNOW IN A MONTH HOW I AM DOING!!!
We made a keto bbq sauce made with bacon grease, peprika, chili powder, garlic, onion powder, salt and pepper... Mix it all up then brush on room temp chicken breasts...❤️
I chopped beef liver into bite sized pieces and cooked it with bited sized pieces of bacon. It was delicious! My step daughter thought it was carne asada. I didn't tell her otherwise. She had three servings. I need to make this again!
I’m not starting this diet because I’m overweight. I was just diagnosed with Macular Degeneration and I am only 51. I move oil rigs for a living, massive oversized loads and my eyes are everything, I’d guess everyone’s are… In my research it all keeps coming back to the same things that the doctor is discussing, minus leafy greens. I really appreciate the video.
Hi Dr. Berry. This weekend marks my first trip around the sun on keto. I feel like I'm half my age, all thanks to you. Thank you. Everyone have a fantastic 4th of July weekend.
I am 73 years, 6.0 feet tall and recently stumbled upon your channel. Thank you for clearing so much up for me. Started "dirty-Keto" June 2021 at 230# and got myself down to 166.8# (as of this morning). But I sure could have saved myself a lot of angst had I discovered your channel sooner. Counted carbs trying to stay under 20-net but then another MD says no, stay under 20-consumed. Either way, recording every bite of food to the gram, teaspoon, ounce, etc. on an app is a huge pain in the rear. Heck, I raise my own chickens (have 36 young hens right now) and my large freezer is full of venison I harvest and process myself every year, plus whatever beef we purchase...it's full! Carnivore is what I need to be doing, I see and understand that now. After hearing you talk about saving ALL the bones for bone broth, it makes me ill to think about the well over 100# of venison carcass bones I discarded just this last season. All that changes right here, right now. Semper Fi

Dr Berry thank you for the down to earth presentation. I am 66 yrs and my health is a mess. I am overweight and frankly ready for the knackers yard. I have downloaded your free information booklet and bought your book kicking arse over 50. Looking forward to your insight into this amazing topic
WOW!!. I haven't felt this good in years.. im 57yrs old. Workout at the gym for size & strength. This diet has giving me awesome results. I'm trading fat for muscle. Energy level is way up. My wife said I have a better physique then when a was 30. My chronic constipation that iv been dealing with for 35yrs is gone. Bloating, gastrol, heartburn problems gone. Feeling tired after eating gone. I miss my carbs & junk food but I love my new life!!!. FYI only 3 months in. Thank you very much Sincerely Patrick
I don't understand how people go on living life eating food then feeling tired. I used to eat foods like french toast with syrup and feel absolutely exhausted for the rest of the day. It was an immediate issue I needed to fix in my eyes
I am a 75-year-old male and yes I cured my ulcerative colitis by going carnivore. It doesn't happen instantly but give it 60 to 90 days and it will be gone or greatly improved my case was so severe it took about 6 to 8 months before it was totally gone my doctor was angry with me and dropped me as a patient because I refused to take his medication - that was 12 years ago and I have not had a problem. The only thing that I have changed - I have increased good healthy fats and decreased Protein. About 70% fat and 30% protein. Also, my gout which I have suffered from since I was in my mid-30s is not better it's totally gone, That didn't happen until I change the ratio of fat to protein.
I was dropped by a rheumatologist and escorted out of her office when I did that. I had the worst reactions to every medication she gave me and she finally said we'd wait 6 weeks before we tried a new med. During that time, a guy I know who also had lupus said that in Europe they treat lupus by removing wheat and soy, so I tried that and my lupus symptoms improved better than any of the meds. I didn't realize the reaction I was going to get when I said that was what I was doing. I told the bored student nurse and she said "hang on a second" and ditched me. And my doctor, who was a hefty gal, literally ran into the room. Then she had me repeat the story, and said "Well, I guess you don't need me then," and had me escorted out, which was unnerving. I wasn't sure what I did wrong then, but I know now. I could have singlehandedly ended her practice, one patient at a time. Fast forward 15 years and I went from no gluten, no soy, to low carb, to zero carb and my joint pain is gone, fatigue gone, skin is better, cholesterol and A1c normal and I feel better than I did in my teens.
Ironically I’m reading this today my gut and esophageal area is burning and I think I’ve been putting off what I think is ulcerative colitis. Four years ago at an EGD I was told I was in beginning heartburn. May I ask you quickly and hopefully you’ll see this I understand the carnivore part but exactly what good fats are there beyond avocado and obviously I’m not gonna drink healthy cooking oil. Ty if u see this n answer.
@@sandyk7611 good fats are animal fats like tallow, suet, lard, duck fat, and bacon grease. You can also eat grass fed butter (like kerrygold) and egg yolks.
I can remember growing up my favorite breakfast before school was an "eggnog" shake my mom would make with fresh raw local cream, raw eggs and sweetened with a very little bit of our own precious homemade maple syrup. I felt SO much better on those days.
TIP: I heard a good trick to incorporate liver. Have the butcher grind it up and add it to handmade burgers, meatballs, meat sauce in a ratio of 3:1 and increase from there. It blends in nicely. Season as usual.
I wanted to say thank you so much. You have changed my life for the better. I was in so much pain and agony. I was actually contemplating suicide. I had nothing else to lose. Doc My wife and I did. Ketogenic few years ago, lost a ton of weight, even the baby fat, we moved and derailed us, but we are starting the process again as of last week, the best thing I remember was how light on my feet I felt, and my stomach felt good, ever since my stomach has shown me it’s doesn’t like certain things, like bread, I love it, and as Chef it kills me. Thank you for such a serious science/history lesson on this topic, your doing Gods Work!

I started Keto in April. In researching keto I learned about carnivore. I knew for myself I couldn't make that drastic of a change and stay with it. It's September, this month I am converting to carnivore. I no longer have carb cravings. Sweets are nothing to me but a bloating body. I am already pretty strict on keto now so transitioning will not be so drastic. Looking forward to strict carnivore to do an elimination diet. 90 days.... I appreciate Dr Berry and all the carnivore UA-camrs out there teaching me so much.
One little note for number 8. You can make a carnivore gravy with just the meat juices and cream. Stir them in the pan until it somewhat thickens and there you go. Play around with the amount til you get it where you like. It may not be as thick as regular gravies but boy howdy does it taste good.
@@krisdeaglephotography4539 Very well! Good for healthy homemade jello too. Great in coffee…put tsp gelatin in cup and poor coffee on top and stir. Good natural source of glycine.
Thank you Dr. Ken Barry! I try to keep up with you and your family. Tell Neisha hi for me and a howdy to Granny Berry from me, Wayne Slusher in Elko, Nevada.
My dad did this type of thing. He was on like 6 different medications. Blood thinners, blood pressure, had to check his blood sugar every night, had 2 stints put in. Almost died of a heart attack. In 2 months his blood work was perfect and his doctor was in disbelief. He lost about 70 lbs. I will say he worked out 6 days a week, but we all know it’s all about diet.
The caution when dining out really resonates with me. I'm a once and future keto dieter, but I've recently lapsed and went out for fish and chips. I felt inflamed for several days afterward, and attribute this to the likely garbage oil used to fry everything. I've made fish and chips at home using beef tallow and did not experience this effect.
Been doing carnivore for 3 weeks now. Incredible results. I run almost every day, and ride my bike to work. Tons of energy. I’m sure I’m doing some things wrong, but I feel pretty amazing. I tried losing weight, and I was running 40+ miles a week, and no progress. I’m running about 20 now, and I look like I’m in ridiculous shape. I’m going to keep this up, and it into a Carnivore Lifestyle
Worked for a casual dining restaurant. Just about everything that comes off the grill is brushed with butter flavored vegetable oil usually during cooking to keep it from sticking and after for eye appeal. Steaks, seafood, grilled vegetables. It’s pretty much the same thing they squirt on your popcorn at the movie theater. It enhances the flavor and makes it shiny. Plus every restaurant that serves steak and grilled vegetables has a signature spice mix that probably has a certain amount of sugar.
Thank you Dr! You answered a lot of questions which have been bouncing around in my brain for awhile! God bless you and your family for helping so many of us.
Dr Berry can i thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing me to this way of eating. I have been plagued with severe back pain for years, no amount of physio or drugs helped. Within 2 DAYS of carnivore my pain was 90% gone and my stomach had deflated sooo much! The relief was so immense that I cried tears of joy. God bless you and all your work
WOW Carlota, that's so awesome!! I can't believe it, I have terrible pain ALL THE TIME, it's horrible, I'm wondering if I should cut out the small amount of vegetables that I eat. I'm definitely going to try that, today!! Thank you 😊
I’ve had back pain for many years too, with no found cause other than inflammation also with no diagnosed cause. This is the end of day 4 of carnivore and I literally just wiggle and said “Do I even have a back”🤣 it’s been so long since it was painless. It’s very weird IN A GOOD WAY!
You talk about taking a nap after eating, but what I love about not eating sugar or carbs is that I don't get that after lunch slump. That was a big motivator for me because as a mental health counselor, it's important to be alert and focused.
I can see why having your game on is important to you. 1:15 P.M. I picture you with a note pad, listening to a client. Only notation on the pad, "I need a nap." Funny not funny. Lol. @@johnvanegmond1812 lol!!! Definitely don't want to be daydreaming about a nap. 🤣 Thanks for all you do. I am sure not feeling sleepy while driving feels really good!
When you were talking about organ meat and our ancestors eating brains, it reminded me of a story my Mother told us. Her Grandmother, was from Bohemia (part of what is now the Czech Republic) and she remembered her serving chicken brains on buttered toast points. 😁 As a child, she was grossed out but still loved to watch her Grandmother crack the chicken skulls open with a big knife (I think after cooking them) and removing the brains. This video reminded me of how much I love Chicken LIVERS sauteed in butter on toast. Now I can add chicken livers minus the toast. They are very rich and filling!! I just started the Carnivore Diet 4 weeks ago. I still have so much to learn and this video really helps with some of the questions that I had. I've suffered from SEVERE RA for 18 years and this is the ONLY IMPROVEMENT I've ever had!! It's WORKING ALREADY. In general, I haven't felt this energized and clear minded in 20 years. I'm 62 and still want to live a LIFE, not just wallow in a bed of pain, exhaustion and depression. It's so tempting to do just that when you have no solution. Thank you, Dr. Berry for giving me a LIFE again. I'm so excited for the future and the freedom it will restore in my daily life!!! God Bless You times a Zillion!! 😇🌟💪
I’m a Aussie born and bread, and in my generation organ meats were just not fed to us. Even the thought of eating any of them turns me stomach. However I know it’s just a programmed belief. Funny thing is I LOVE patè.
Your comment was full of good energy, I could almost feel how good your feeling. I’m 51 and have 15kg to loose, but it’s not about the weight loss, it’s about feeling good without the aches and pains. If I keep down this route, I’ll be crippled by 60.

I find this absolutely fascinating. I was diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis in September 2021 and was hospitalized 9 times within 6 months and needed a blood transfusion on 3 occasions. Additionally, I've lost 30kg, the corticosteroids messed me up big time and I was at rock bottom, mentally and physically. After I got myself together I ended up doing carnivore diet for the last 7 months and the effect is just outstanding. I never ditched my medications (I'm on bioligics - Entyvio to be precise, every 8 weeks) but comparing myself to the people I've met with the same condition as me and are still following some mainstream low fiber diets, it's like night and day difference. I've gained muscles, lost fat, my flaring is basically gone, never in my life have I had the will and focus to train as I've had it since starting carnivore and all around, I just feel great... I just wonder, why isn't this going into the mainstream medicine? Was talking to my doc about this, when he said my blood work was looking great, I told him all about my diet. He just looked at me and said that it isn't something he should be recommending, because he needs to follow the *official procedures* but gave me a wink and said, if it works for me, just keep on doing it.
@@mooshway2000 Thanks for replying. As someone that LOVES salads, it was very hard for me to go carnivore. @@BoringTroublemaker Rather than me type a long post about how and why we've all been decieved about cholesterol (which we certainly have), better to point you to videos by Ken Berry on this very subject (he's posted 900 videos). There are others like Dr Robert Cywes, Dr Paul Mason, Dr David Diamond, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Annette Bozworth, Dr Ovadia (three of whom are surgeons) to name a few - all on UA-cam. My total cholesterol is 11.6 mmol/L (Europe) - considered very high. The figure on its own, without context, is meaningless. LDL 8.4 mmol/L - ditto. The most important marker for metabolic/cardiovascular health is the triglycerides/HDL ratio. It is the gold standard for accessing insulin resistance. Divide the triglyceride number by the HDL number. The target is 0.83 mmol/L or less - mine is 0.27 pristine.
I admire your dry sense of humour, but I find myself having to keep backtracking to make sure I haven't missed anything important. Thanks for the great work Dr. Berry.
Dr. Berry, I am eternally grateful to have found you on UA-cam and never miss your videos. I am 69 years old and have a bad hip. I have been told I must get my BMI down in order to have surgery. I have started carnivore and within just a small amount of time am feeling much better. I have had an issue with headaches and diarrhea so hoping this will pass. Also hoping to loose weight as well as improve my health. Thank you for your knowledge and encouragement. So grateful for you!
One thing I like about Berry, he keeps his political views to himself and separate from this channel. People watch him for health and nutrition information, and that's exactly what he delivers. He doesn't even dog-whistle one way or the other, he stays neutral.
I appreciate that too. Though he does talk about our "ancestors" from 50, or 100,000 years ago as if we evolved. That makes him lose a little credibility.
Ken Jackson If you’re turned off by the theory of evolution, how do you reconcile Dr. Berry’s scientific, evidence-based approach? It seems odd to accept some kinds of science-based evidence but reject other kinds. In fact, some of Dr. B’s and other low-carb nutritional advice are based heavily on human fossil records; if you think that’s fake, why believe any of his advice? (Not deriding creationism itself, but rather the refusal of evolution; I don’t find creationism and evolution mutually-exclusive, since one is magic faith and the other is based on observable data.)
@@commonground8412: _"... evolution, how do you reconcile Dr. Berry’s scientific, evidence-based approach?"_ Microbe-to-man evolution has no connection to a _"scientific, evidence-based approach"._ The actual science that Dr. Berry cites is based in studies done with _modern man,_ not some mythical cave man. *Matthew:* _"It seems odd to accept some kinds of science-based evidence but reject other kinds."_ I only reject fake science, like microbe-to-man evolution. Of course when you think of "evolution" you've probably been duped into thinking about speciation. But that's a different process, based on genetic degradation. If man had really evolved from a microbe, new proteins, new molecular machines, new organs and new systems would have had to develop. It wasn't a bad hypothesis back in the 19th century, long before modern science uncovered DNA or any molecular machinery. But errors (mutations) don't accumulate to form the *complex, hierarchical, interdependent* systems that proliferate through life. Life was clearly designed. The revelations of science confirm it.
@@commonground8412 Save your breath. He'll 'copy and paste' you into oblivion with the latest "science" he's collected. Even if you manage to whittle down his arguments with real science, he'll eventually bust out his "god did it" card.
@@commonground8412 Mr. Jackson didn't say he doesn't believe in science! Don't be "that guy", it's so annoying! And by the way, people who don't believe that we-humans- evolved from CRITTERS, doesn't mean we don't believe in evolution, everything evolves! You don't think science is pretty magical, I do, it's awesome, like AWESOME in it's true meaning, you know, something that's SO amazing that you're awe struck? Don't be so close minded- it is so boring and typical. You are a negative person. To believe in something that you can't see is a blessing! Where was science when my grandbaby was supposed to die when when he was 7months old, but he didn't- he lived until he was almost 11years old. Caleb was a miracle that we could SEE with our eyes and scientists couldn't help him at all, but he looked at us with so much understanding and wisdom it would literally take away your breath, & when he smiled in the midst of so much pain- it was like nothing you could ever explain. Caleb smiles, changed the lives of people that got to be near him, he could reach out with his tiny little left hand and touch your hand or your face and make strangers feel something like a miracle! He was beautiful, he was an angel in the truest form of what an angel is. He was a gift from God, not science. 4 days in, I lost 1.5 kilos, mental clarity is amazing, sleeping fully, no sinus problems, post nasal drip stopped, in the gym lifting heavy weights and doing cardio and no energy problems. Bowel habits solid and normal, no sugar cravings. Joint problems gone, the list goes on. Not seeing any problems so far. Basically feel great.
@@goadedmachine8448 that's my experience hope it works for you. The nasal drip is usually allergies to certain foods in my experience if it's not hayfever etc.
@Shaikha Al No I didn't but you have to keep exercising of course. It's about constantly refining and modifying your diet and listening to your body to see what works. Everyone is different. I also don't look for the silver bullet solution. There isn't one. Take the best from all diets. Listen to your body for what works. Discard what doesn't.
4 days in? Ha!! I got that beat. I haven't even started it yet and I am already cured. I have lost 25 pounds. All my medical issues are cured. I have grown 4 inches and my wang is now 12 inches long.
I have done keto before, and I got down to a body fat percentage I was happy with, I don't know the exact number but I was happy with how I looked, lean, shredded and good definition... I slipped back into eating bad food and I have kind of been bouncing around diets... I started the carnivore diet a few weeks back, but only stuck it out for about 2 weeks... I then had a family meal at a restaurant and it chips, naan bread, rice, the whole lot and subsequently slipped back into eating processed junk... It's been about 1 week of eating that junk now and I already look more bloated out and feel worse for it... I think this time round starting the carnivore diet again I will do better as I actually don't want to eat the processed food anymore as I have now felt that difference in mental clarity and general mood and well-being! Wish me luck!
I was cut on keto, but I walked 15 miles a day, walked up hills ran down, elliptical 2 hours a night got fat after I moved to Florida and covid hit and drank deer in hotube for 2 years
Processed foods and seed oils DEFINITELY mess with your gut and therefore everything else in your body. The brain fog is awful. Can definitely tell a difference when I cheat. Not worth it. I just decided carnivore for life instead of it being a diet. ❤
The exact thing has happened with me. Besides not eating the junk, it challenging when everyone around you eats it and keeps commenting on why I am punishing myself and not even loosing weight...I too will give it my all this time round...here's to good health and ignoring the negativity❤️
There’s a way to eat at a restaurant without all the carbs. I bet having special days once a month eating your favorite food would be fine. Just get back into it.
Try this recipe for liver. Talo or Lard in a skillet or pan. Medium high heat. No onions. Straight from the package. No overnight soaking in milk. Depends on the thickness of the liver. 20 to 40 seconds/ side. S/P. Enjoy!
Mine is liver and kidneys. My husband loved liver even the feel of it made me cringe. Id use a bag to hold it cut it into the pan to cook it for him. I know its good for you but....
Organic liver is very different then the chemically raised liver. It looks different, the texture is different and it tastes very different. It is worth the difference totally.
You don't have to give up spices but use them very sparingly. Many spices are high in oxalates. There is a great book out, Toxic Superfoods with great info. Many herbs, spices and vegtables have antinutrients. I am sensitive to oxalates and some other anti nutrients so I use only occasionally.
I’ve suffered with digestive problems, immune system disorder, fibromyalgia and chronic migraines all my life. I just ran up on this through Jordan and Mikalla Peterson’s videos lately. I’m glad I found this video bc I need to know how to implement the diet. I don’t need to lose weight, just feel better. My daughter and I both have immune disorders and chronic fatigue, chronic migraines so I am desperate to find a way to get better. I will be 68 in a few days and I’ve been sick for so long that I don’t know what it’s like to feel good. Just a hope and a🙏🏻 to find a way.
These findings suggest that, among US adults, higher intake of processed meat, unprocessed red meat, or poultry, but not fish, was significantly associated with a small increased risk of incident CVD, whereas higher intake of processed meat or unprocessed red meat, but not poultry or fish, was significantly associated with a small increased risk of all-cause mortality.
I have Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue too. Has this diet helped with those things?? Would be great to know coz it's very hard to live with those things, as you know.
My doctors have suggested this diet to me for intractable migraine and fibro. I have done Keto but my symptoms were still a problem. I am encouraged because I am reading Saladino's Carnivore Code and then my Gyn who also is part of Integrative Medicine practice told me that the diet will shut off inflammation. She is an MD! Go figure? Hope to post in 3 months with positive update. Thanks Dr Berry for putting out so much info on keto and carnivore.
Thanks for the tips. I’m one week in. Can’t believe how much is already being fixed. Better sleep, more energy, stomach trouble that I’ve deal with for years like heart burn and reflux are gone. Going to give it 6 months and see how all my blood work comes back after my next doc appointment.
I've been on a health journey since October 2022 it's now mid January and i have lost 50 lbs so far. This has been a life changing event in my life. Thank you so much!
I was laughing when you were talking about bee vomit. There was a nutritionist giving a talk about sugars and this young lady said but "honey wonderful bees make it for us and it is natural" to which he replied "syphilis is also natural and I won't be recommending it". Happy Canada Day
Funny! I stopped with the honey, years ago; my brother has bees and still tries to give me some. Honey spikes insulin plain and simple--it's one of the 80 forms of sugar. Spiking insulin compromises your immune system -- kinda defeats the so-called purpose of honey. Meats give us vitamins, minerals and are by far more beneficial.

Diet is oftentimes the best medicine!
Actually raw honey is very good for you, it is not bee vomit. Just because someone says they are a doctor doesn't mean they actually are. 2 minutes in, and nope this is not working. I'll find someone who knows what they are talking about, because this man does not.

I’m Celiac and doing Carnivore I can afford to buy the best of the best as I’m not forking out big money on GF breads and rubbish. I feel so much better, 64 going on 15. 😘
welcome to the 15's club!!!!

You can eat all meat products, just stay away from many spices.
day 21 here! started 341 now im 325 and feeling great!
Wow good for you! Amazing
Starting tomorrow I'm currently 370lbs. Goal is to be 310lbs. Trying to keep some bulk for football lol
1. Seafood, eggs and butter are just fine to eat
2. Eat fat
3. Eat enough electrolytes
4. Eat enough omega-3 and get get rid of vegetable oils
5. Eat organ meat (especially liver) and bone marrow
6. Eat collagen (not in powder)
7. Watch out for imitated seafood
8. No rubs, sauces, marinades and gravies
9. Don't go eating out (unless you're very clear about what you can't eat)
10. Quiting carnivore to soon
11. Don't limit your portions, eat as much you want
12. Try to limit processed meat (OK if you can't afford anything else)
13. Eat salt
14. Don't overcook your meat
15. You don't need to take supplements
So you can’t use a plane Gravy?
No bc gravy is made with cornstarch or flour.
What about olive oil?#4
Extra virgin olive oil, butter, saved bacon fat is fine. You can buy tubs of duck fat at the supermarket as well ( sold in the meat section)
So spit, not vomit.

Could you share what a traditional breakfast, lunch and dinner consisted of? I'd love some ideas to recreate 👍💐

In the last week I bought large eggs for 77 cents a dozen, whole pork shoulders for 97 cents a lb, 10lb bag of chicken hind quarters for $4.38 for the bag, 80/20 hamburger for $1.99 and a whole beef brisket for $2.99. yes, having a freezer helps along with the ability to cut up my own meat but we honestly spend less money eating this way that we spent eating the SAD diet.
Fasting saves money too.
And all you have ended up with is bags of poison. Chicken are fed corn and grains, destroys nutritional content. Pork is feed lot raised on grains, just grains by proxy, same for cows.
@@alfrednewman292 you'd think that but you'd be wrong. it is true that the ratio of nutrients is different, but it is not devoid of nutrition or lacking, just a different ratio. while the system needs to change for the welfare of us, the environment, and the animals, the meat is still nutritious.
Alfred Newman yep 💯 correct
@@roostermako6749 No it is not, it is poisonous. Those grains fed to sickly cows at feed lots are of the GMO variety insuring direct intake of glyphosate, highly toxic. The only nutrition there is for cancer cells, not healthy cells. Also, the omega 6 to omega 3 ratios are grossly in favor of omega 6 which is very unhealthy. This diet of grains has also eliminated most of the minerals, enzymes and vitamins that animals get from eating fresh grasses. It has gotten so bad that it would be better not to eat meat at all if that is all you can get. But not to worry, Bill Gates will have an even more toxic mixture ready for all the little sheeple soon.
I am beginning the Carnivore diet today. I am 5'8" tall and weight about 200 lbs. I am 71 years old and have always been heavily muscled, but my best weight was around 170. I have many health problems including type two diabetes (i take 150mg. per day of insulin and take about 15 different pills twice a day for heart problems and a host of other problems. I know my weight is the biggest problem and would help with everything if i could lose about forty pounds. Wish me luck! My wife will support me and that is good too. Thank you.
I am proud of you! I am on day 22 and I feel great!
Best of luck ❤ you'll be amazed and love this
I am doing ketovore to loose weight, so do I need to limit my fat intake as long as I have fat on my body to burn?
You won't be sorry I'm 69 and can attest it will work. I've had to be patient having eaten wrong most of my life and tried every diet known to man. Remember we need to heal as primary goal. Weight loss for me has been slow but I've lost inches and aches and pains. Labs are great, my Dr not happy with my ldl. But I'm not taking a statin. I've done my research and made that decision. Just saying your lucky your wife is supportive. I live with diabetic that buys Sam's club box sizes of candy ,chips and junk food. But after time being carnivore I have NO food cravings. I easily resist a car full of McDonald ff smell. It's so freeing!!!!!!
Stick to it, it will work. If you add midified fasting it will help you even more.
My husband did SO WELL with carnivore diet but he got bored with it and his "cheat" meals started turning into "cheat" days and so on... Don't let that happen to you.
food addiction is real...boredom and eating sugar can be detrimental...sometimes a disease is needed to scare people...
How long did he go on the carnivore diet before he stopped?
He did it well for 3 months. He hung on for about another 3 months but then gave up and gained the weight (eventually 50lbs) back.
@lawaincooley6788 the biggest thing is especially after you loose the weight just learn to moderate
@@ianerdman5013how do you moderate? Please explain. I’m new.
1. Forgetting seafood/eggs/butter are carnivore
2. 2:10 Eating too lean, target 2:1 fat to protein grams
3. 4:37 Not getting enough electrolytes
4. 5:25 Not getting enough omega 3 fatty acids
5. 6:50 Not eating organ meats
6. 8:16 Not getting enough collagen (powder doesn't count)
7. 9:20 Don't eat imitation seafood (added oils, sugars, grains)
8. 10:03 Watch for carbs and bad oils in sauces, gravies, Dry rubs, etc.
9. 10:55 Watch for bad ingredients added to meat when eating out
10. 11:50 Quitting too soon, takes 4-8 weeks to feel good but sometimes even longer
11. 13:04 Portion restricting, eat until full
12. 14:30 Avoid processed meat (if you can afford it) and "natural flavourings"
13. 15:46 Restricting salt
14. 16:40 Over cooking meats, cooking breaks down nutrients, raw is ok if smells good
15 (controversial). Supplements are not needed with the proper human diet
Well in my case a supplement for muscle cramps are needed cause I can’t get rid of these damn muscle cramps in my feet, especially the toes ughh
2:1 fat to protein but I am confused because in that same statement it begins with " if you have significant fat to lose, this is what you want to burn, but as you transition.....". So what should the ratios be if you DO have significant fat to lose?
@@vibekelavan7843 Dr Anthony Chaffee says not to count anything just eat meat until you are comfortably full, but it seems like carnivore is getting more confusing, so for myself, I’m not adding sticks of butter, I will follow what my body tells me, If I’m hungry I eat if I’m not, then I don’t, if my skin gets dry then I will know to add some fat in slowly, I myself am not going to add a full stick of butter and I’m not counting macros, common sense to me is calories in calories burned, if you don’t burn the extra it get gets stored as fat, so just stay in tune with your body and might not hurt to keep a journal…
@@vibekelavan7843 It really depends. I had to really work on eating more fatty cuts of meat and I added butter over time. Not a stick of butter but a tablespoon. I have found for my own situation that I need the added fat to keep my energy up and for my mental health. I do take electrolytes on water during the day. If it is my day off, I take less. If I am working my physically and mentally exhausting job, I drink more. After I added butter, I was able to get to sleep and sleep through the night. So that was worth it to me.
Thank you, that was helpful.
For me personally.. 14 years ago the doctors give me two years to live after a couple of major heart surgeries.. it was enough to literally scare the hell out of me. I was on 17 medications. I couldn't even hardly function. I was ready to toss in the towel. So I literally quit eating.. I quit all the medication. And when I noticed after a few days of not being on the medication I started feeling better.. I was starting to get hungry needless to say.. well here it is today 12 years after my death date.. I can walk 6 miles a day.. I've lost 225 lb. And I literally eat four meals a week. That is it! Because he's hospitals are only driven by prophet that they get from the medications that they push on you. 😊 There's not a doctor out there that really gives a f*** about your health or anything about you. At the end of the day you're just another f****** number to them.. and there's plenty of cattle in the pen.. and if you sit there and say you can't do it.. then you probably should just go ahead and toss in the towel all the way and just give it all up.. because you have a gift.. one you'll never ever have a chance to have again.. so don't be a f****** coward.. man the fuck up! And live your life to the fullest

This video was so information dense and almost no rambling, its one of the few videos that I actually sat through and just listened to a guy talk for 20 minutes.
Same
Couldn't agree more!!

I never felt so bad physically and mentally as when I was vegan for two years. Always sick, fat, constant gut issues, depressed and always always hungry. Meat makes me feel full, energized and happy
What were you eating those two years?
I was strictly vegan for a year. I thought I was doing fine, a little on the thin side. A friend though was concerned for me and urged me to eat some milk products, and WOW! Suddenly I had energy I didn't even know I was lacking. I realized that I was weakened by the diet, and the milk products brought a lot of strength back into my body. I've never tried veganism after that, and I felt from that day on that it's not healthy for anyone, despite all the hype about it.
Veganism is not a healthy nutrition but an ideology.
a healthy body is well stocked in calcium = good brain matter/tight skin / strong bones/ healthy muscle...oxalates (oxalic acid) in plants loves to bind with calcium in the intestines, and when the oxalates are passed out the system it takes your much needed calcium with it, thats why when you are old your bones are brittle, skin loose, hair falling out and all your joints are inflammed...all those with GOUT just for one week before you put a plant in your mouth google it make sure it is oxalate free, after a week your gout will be gone (or going ) even the most sceptic among you can give it a week surely

I don't understand how people go on living life eating food then feeling tired. I used to eat foods like french toast with syrup and feel absolutely exhausted for the rest of the day. It was an immediate issue I needed to fix in my eyes
I’m 50 and want to eat more meat! Trying not to eat so much bread and rice. Need to go to the gym also!

The reason your doctor was mad at you was because you cut off his kickbacks from Big Pharma. A healthy patient doesn't bring in the bucks.

Pip. Ratio of what to what? Liver to beef or beef to liver?
Must be beef to liver. Otherwise the liver completely overtakes in taste.
Good diet hack.!
I use a chicken / pork liver pate, just a bite of it, a few times a week - until I get better at cooking beef liver!

A good carnivore thickener is beef gelatin powder.
@@PM-zb7jm I recently saw some beef powder mentioned in another recipe. Does it work reasonably well? Compared to say flour?
@@krisdeaglephotography4539 Very well! Good for healthy homemade jello too. Great in coffee…put tsp gelatin in cup and poor coffee on top and stir. Good natural source of glycine.

You talk about taking a nap after eating, but what I love about not eating sugar or carbs is that I don't get that after lunch slump. That was a big motivator for me because as a mental health counselor, it's important to be alert and focused.

Rather than me type a long post about how and why we've all been decieved about cholesterol (which we certainly have), better to point you to videos by Ken Berry on this very subject (he's posted 900 videos).
Berry.

How are you getting on? You kept it up I hope.
I'm one week into carnivore and your videos have been very informative. You missed 16. Don't tell anybody who thinks they know everything.
Berry’s scientific, evidence-based approach?"_
Microbe-to-man evolution has no connection to a _"scientific, evidence-based approach"._ The actual science that Dr. Berry cites is based in studies done with _modern man,_ not some mythical cave man.
*Matthew:* _"It seems odd to accept some kinds of science-based evidence but reject other kinds."_
I only reject fake science, like microbe-to-man evolution.

Caleb smiles, changed the lives of people that got to be near him, he could reach out with his tiny little left hand and touch your hand or your face and make strangers feel something like a miracle! He was beautiful, he was an angel in the truest form of what an angel is. He was a gift from God, not science. He smiled into your soul right up until the moment he took his last breath, when God took back our little gift, to be with Jesus. Now he's gone, but he's not gone, an angel is what he is.

Dr.Paul Saladino, , author of "The Carnivore Code", says that raw honey is very good for you and he even brushes his teeth with it. Not kidding.
