Shark Tank US | Will Stryx Be The Next Big Product In Men's Beauty?
/ sptv
Kevin’s seriousness while applying the products had me in stitches 😅😂
business lol
Lol 😂.
🤣 it is not a game
Yeah he was the most serious out of the sharks
Saw that too he wants to look stylish for his royalty
I just loved how Kevin was trying every single product
Robert is the one who always get the big fun product 😆
me too he saw his chance ant took it
He's been very open about wearing make up, being 68 and all
And he looks so clean and amazing afterwards 😁
Me too hahaha
Damon always trying to make people feel bad about coming on the show with good sales so they aren’t in a position of desperation
And then he doesn't invest into people without sales either. He is a total hypocrite.
Was he trying to say they took up shelf space of a family who needed that one shot? Then mark said everyone wants/needs a shot.
But then when the company is too new and not enough sales that’s the issue
@@idontno0 I mean, the entrepreneurs didn’t just showed up at the door. They submitted an application, with the details of their business, and were called to pitch their company.
Trying to make the entrepreneurs feel bad is just so wrong. If they weren’t a good fit for the show, why select them in the first place?
Not a bad as barbara
You can tell Mark is just on an entirely different business analysis level from the other Sharks
I swear in my head , I was like ooofff the mind of this man 😩 for this reason.
Yea but he’s still lost more on his shark tank investments than he’s made lol
@@csss142 most shark tank companies fail. You don't go to Sharktank looking for a good deal. You go to sharktank because that's your last hope. Know how many of these companies fail
@@csss142 He’s a billionaire, he needs these tax write offs lol
@@XcellentXteriorsSA exactly lol
What even is Daymond's logic? Even big companies raise millions of dollars even after having multimillions in sales. He should realize this is not a charity tank. It is Shark Tank
He just harps on the small mom and pop stores barely making anything. But Mark is absolutely right. Everybody wants a shot and wants to grow.
@@Davidsworldtravels yes, thank you
@@Davidsworldtravelshe just hate huge valuation
Kevin with one of the most creative offers I've seen. It had it all lol
Yeah he does that all the time
Yep, the most blood sucking offer ever. He is getting a return on his money in the form of equity, a loan AND a royalty in 2 stages: first where he doubles his money and then continues to get money in perpetuity after he gets all his money back. Greediest deal in the shark tank history by far, exactly how Robert put it.
I think he does offers like that because A) the show would be boring without any offers, it gives everyone something to react too and B) he didn't really like the business and wasn't intending to give them a good offer
LMAO fr
@@vcrainehow?? They were burning thru so much money and most banks wouldn’t even consider a loan with them and plus Robert is notorious for not closing deals and guess what this one didn’t go thru atleast if they would have gone too Kevin they would have money too grow the company
I love Kevin not listening at all and just using the stuff on his face hahahahaha
Lol 😂
Legit noticed him appreciating the product
Like he like it bahahaha
Hey when you get older, your mind opens up
I understand Damon's point but it gives me similar vibes to when Barbara told one girl that she's not working hard enough because she gets financial support from her dad. Just because you have something going on doesn't mean that you should be withheld the opportunity from chasing more in this format. Everyone should be allowed to apply and come onto this show and it's up to the sharks and their ideologies whether or not to go along for the ride. This show isn't leaving any time soon so people applying will always have their chances.
That has been Damon's opinion forever. If you are a successful company on here he bashes you and says you're taking a poor persons spot. He's acting like they arent investors trying to make money
True
@@John-ym9ic true I don't like that guy
I remember that episode, that's one of many reasons I think Bard is a bitch. But there's a difference between dad helping with your rent and someone whose families and friends can give them a half million, and hey already have a ton of sales.
*Daymond
Damon is so condescending, I’m glad Mark checked him!
Mr wonderful is like a makeup artist over here! he knows exactly what he’s doing !!!! 😂😂
🤣🤣 I had the same thought!. He is a good sport.
Lmao he's putting it all on
These TV guys know there way around some makeup! A lot of people forget that anytime someone is on camera, they are in makeup (at least in any professional setting).
I'm gagged 😅
i think Kevin is actually the most considerate shark. i feel some of his most “sharky” offers are just to squeeze the other sharks to be protective and have a nicer package for the entrepreneurs. i might be living in a fairy tale but that’s how I feel 😏
He's admitted to do this mutiple times 😊
In think most of his offers are genuine, including this one. I think he just wants to get his money back as soon as possible.
I used to think he was the meanest but he’s actually one of the smartest and most honest
you're living in lalala land for sure
I love how Mark gets to the core of the company! Good point Lori about packaging
Disagree - lots of men's products in related categories have low profile packaging.
@@bsblleon01 a lot of men probably don’t even know what concealer is
If your point is to be low-key, then why would you want your packaging to be super obvious?
@@xaptronicyeah but do men know what concealer means? They should have wrote “COVER UP CREAM FOR MEN” and put the “FOR MEN” in giant big letters
it was a packaging thought for online sales, that's why
Daymond’s joke at the end is priceless 😂🔥
I didn't get it. Can you please explain it?
@@mrs111198 "lifting an eyebrow" there is referring to "care" and also is referring to an eyebrow's cosmetic treatment
@@mrs111198 Generally when people put Botox on their forehead to hide wrinkles then they literally struggle to move the eyebrows because it relaxes the muscles.
@@mohammadibrahim2461 NO ! it has to do with the botox set-up line that people can't raise their eyebrows anymore.
@@MaikNL if so, then my apologies
Kevin over there beating his whole face 🤣 😂
Lol 😂
He actually said in another episode that he frequently does his own makeup before filming lol 😆
Laurie gave them great advice. Yup, the packaging and name of the company does not say anything about the product. When they came in, just by looking at the name and logo I thought it was so sort of technological company… it has a SpaceX sorta look 😅
They for sure need to change their look.
I think they were taking the "men don't want to be seen buying make up" thing a little to far and ended up with totally non descript packaging because of it.
People have shorter attention spans than ever, you're packaging has to either really pop or spell out exactly what it is
The sharks usually says yes lets do this and lets change the appearance of packaging
Sure...cause Maybelline...named after the founders sister...screams makeup.🙄
@@pvtjoker468 Maybelline has been around for over 100 years and is already an established brand and it's in the makeup aisle. This company is brand new and isn't even in the makeup aisle so they need to make it more clear what the product is.
@@sycamore-tree540 I think the comment was the relation of the company name not realating to the product. And the Sharks paraised them for the placement.
Barbara: " I was supposed to be in this episode but I'm not, for those reasons, I'm out"
Bro 😂😂
Mark is straight teaching a masterclass here
I actually found this in a CVS the day before I was to be in my cousins wedding when I woke up with terrible razor burn on my neck, thought I give it a try and it worked wonders!
Freddie Mercury's nephew and Woody Allen's accountant have got some strong sales numbers there.
💀💀💀
Kevin absolutely sending it with all the products 😂
Mark was kind of poking fun when he put that war streak on his face - but then it blended beautifully.
And their product is cruelty free!
Daymond’s joke at the end tho! 😂 🤣 🤣
I think it was a good investment on Robert’s part. I don’t really see them becoming a heavy hitter in the makeup industry, but I do see them being bought out by a bigger company.
I love how dramatic Robert is....u got bulllLiedd Forr WearINg GEL!?!!
Daymond be acting like a saint fighting only for ppl who really need the investment but whenever someone's already profitable and is generating tons of cash he always goes in.
Mannn at the end when they mentioned the wedding stuff I was expecting them to see if Kevin and Robert would go in together for like 11-12%… would’ve been worth a shot
@Travel Crawl Robert* Daymond has a good head on his shoulders and doesn't backtrack on deals like Robert.
they wouldn't have taken it not enough equity for their time probably
Daymond is by far the shark I would least want a deal with on anything
Exactly
Don’t worry I haven’t even seen him make an offer in multiple seasons. He doesn’t even go for a negotiated attempt. Not even sure what he’s doing on here anymore.
@@Davidsworldtravels We all know he's in it for the "quota".
Him and Barbara are the exact same, the worst sharks
Damon’s parting joke at the end was epic… wonder how long he’s been waiting to use that one!
Every episode that ends in a deal: "Congrats guys!" -Mark Cuban
He would say "congrats guys" For a single entrepreneur too 😂
Lori, too, it’s so annoying
@@absolutnadia saying congrats is annoying now? damn
If I were them, Id probably do both
1) market it to women to help their men
2) market it to men not directly as makeup
Marketing it to women is the way to go. Like a lot of guys I rarely shop for myself. My wife buys my razors and other items because I hate going to the store, and I'm like whatever. Not only do women do a lot of shopping for their men, but there's the angle of her asking you to try it for them, and if they like it, the guy would be more likely to use it
@@theblackflame4002 women have something lik 80% of the buying power in the US
@@elijahmthompson2313 I did see that somewhere, and honestly that's a reflection of guys. My wife will tell me "I bought you socks because you needed them. I'm like Okay. I saw you were on your last razorblade so I ordered them for you...Okay
And I bet a percentage of the 20% guys spend is....for gifts for them. LOL
We're living in a time that men are mature enough to buy it as makeup. And for those men that have a problem with that, they aren't going to buy it regardless. Those type of men won't even buy a moisturising cream for their face or good hair product because it's too 'girly'. No point wasting resources chasing that type of customer.
Cuz men are kids and the women are their moms to buy them their makeup 😂
War Paint for Men was on Dragon's Den like 4 years ago
I purchased one of their concealers and i absolutely love it. Quick and easy way to cover up some thing i don’t like and makes me feel so much more confident. Highly recommend 💯
Thank you Danny!
What do you use it for mostly?
@@skylineb28 any acne that i notice when i wake up. I don’t brake out like crazy but anytime i notice a small red dot in my face i just grab the pen and cover it up. It’s sort of my daily routine before school or before i go out. I was skeptical but was pleased with the results
So when you going to buy a dress to make you feel better?
@@cornpopwasabaddude..6146 the females like it when a guy has clear looking skin 🤷♂️ i won’t judge you if you want to look “manly” and “scruffy” to impress your guy “friends” 💯
I've been binge watching videos of Shark Tank for three days now, seen like 50 videos and I've never seen Mr Wonderful get a deal done at least once lmao
Good investment by Robert. Could definitely see Stryx being a $1Billion company.
lol yea right their company sucks
YT expert
Doubt it
possibly but they need to target male influencers who are also regular guys. Instagram, sports stars etc
@@recyclebininfinity4983 their company worth 6 million right now. It's not billion but definitely MORE VALUABLE than YOUR LIFE.
My opinion packaging should go lean towards X-Men's and Old Spice men's Packaging
the joke at the end was killer
I didn't get it. Can you please explain it?
Damn, they only had 30% equity left and Robert took 10. He's in just as much as the founders as a third musketeer.
Kevin is such a cutie putting it on 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love the product and the complete show....
I've been using the concealer tool and tinted moisturizer for a couple of yeas (before they were on Shark Tank) and have been really happy with the products!
Mark owned Daymond with regards to the point he was making about them "taking away" the opportunity of being on Shark Tank from another family
Not lobbing for Damon’s take this episode seems like he judged them and hated them from then on
The joke at the end was a brilliant icing on the cake for this video! 😅
Is it just me ? That when I watch this show no matter what I feel so happy 😊
Kevin's offer was too much to take in
He's brutal at times, but this one was the most brutal.
Triple Dip? for that reason I'm out
Damon lowkey becoming the villain 😭
Kevin trying everything 😂😂😂😂
I loved it!!
mr wonderful is really feeling the products at the beginning
I love it! I think it’s great that they have makeup options for men.
And it’s cruelty free.
Why try to make the entrepreneurs feel bad for being there? I mean, they didn’t just showed up at the door, and force themselves in, right?
They submitted an application, with the details of their business, and were called to pitch their company. If they weren’t a good fit for the show, why select them in the first place?
theres no "feel bad" in business, its all risk
After reading your comment i remember the quote Robert said on shark tank "those who made it to shark tank deserves to be on shark tank"
When I was younger I would have loved it.
Kevin putting on that lip gloss or chapstick or whatever was cute lol
kevin legit went off on the samples, lmao full boy george
This show is great!
Daymond punishes people for not following in his footsteps
What a great joke at the end from Damon 😂
i love how everyone of the male sharks were trying the product like they have never seen make-up before, while having a quarter inch layer of make up on their own faces already LOL
I love how committed Kevin was
Crazy these products are in target
Change in go to market strategy including packaging and direct to consumer approach. What’s the projections of turn around on monthly loss?
The joke at the end. 😆 🤣 😂
My boss had dark under eyes I nicknamed him Alice lol. Alice Cooper 😂
I absolutely loved that they took robs offer over baldy
the joke at the end 😅😂😂
2:55 i have the exact thought as Peter here, like make up for man? It’s not a new market at all 😂
"Of course you do" 😂
"Ichiban, Lipstick For Men"
Joy from friends 😂
I've been putting gel in my hair since middle school. Nobody had an issue that I know of.
I grew up in the 80's and guy's who were "pretty boys" would take some teasing, but I'd never heard it reach a point of bullying
Then again, people are a lot softer these days,
Did your boyfriend like it?

That’s the first time I saw Robert get a deal
This deal with Robert has never closed.
Great business lesson here from Mark. Class was in session !
10:23 ..he used it for another Sales Pitch... good one
kevin was really having fun w that offer😭
Genius product tbh
Damon with the jokes at the end 😂😂
To funny

Kevin is such a snake. 11% interest. 2.5% equity. AND perpetual royalty. Lmao
"Stryx sales are increasing and doing well to this day.
I like Robert, and I'm upset with Daymond for an attitude that was uncalled for during their pitch.
I do not care how manly someone thinks they are, no one wants zits all over their face. Men using concealer for spot corrector should NOT be stigmatized -_-
🙌
@@Stryx_Official ❤
Let’s go Robert
Damon's joke at the end 😂😂😂
What's funny is in the later segment of the video you can see half of Mark's face has less dark circles
I still can’t get over that my guy over here, claims he was “bullied out of school for using hair gel 😂”
Kevin while using it hehehehe 😂
Daymond always reacting bad when he hears over 500k for an equity less than 10%. What does he want, 10k for 98%? He should be in a Tuna Tank.
When you could visibly see the nervousness in Robert when they mentioned the make up lol
Mark unbeknownst mentioned one of their biggest competitors ‘War Paint’ that were on dragon den lol
I like the chairs the sharks are sitting on.
You want to sniff Damon’s.
Do you want one?
@@CodingExpress Sure. Where can I buy one?
Any update guys?

With a $6 million company valuation, maybe the future holds big things for these fellow entrepreneurs.
I’m so glad Mark is there to check Daymond’s snide, resentful, petty cheap shots.
Barbara: I dont see anything wrong with guys wearing makeup, I think this will be a booming business. But you said you wore gel in middle school and for those reasons...Im out
I love how Robert is saying “the guy in this picture is already buying makeup” and it’s Tom Sandoval-the most metrosexual “straight” guy ever.
Excuse me, but i don't understand the final sentance "No way listen eyebrow''. What does it mean? Help me! Thank you
Business aside. Marks eyes by the end of this pitch tells the whole story. He put the products on his left eye and not his right. By 8 minutes into the video you can tell these products actually work….
Damon doesn’t like the “my dads a lawyer” kind of guys 😂😂
