It was actually kinda nice seeing the other sharks helping the guy out negotiating. He legit just seemed like a good guy.
Because its 30k. They spend 30k on dinner with friends sometimes.

lol yea that was pretty cool.. but I’d bet everything that Daymond DID NOT go thru with that deal behind the scenes Lool. He definitely did not want to take that deal, that’s why he offered 40% at first thinking “no way this guys gonna take this deal, let me just throw something out there for TV so I look like a nice guy” (which is actually a strategy he uses A LOTTT if u watch the show😂) and it just so happened to backfire on him this time Lmaoo 😂
@@leonardu6094 because they not normal investors they also spend time for the companies. If someone has 100 million spending a lot of time for a company where his 30k investment maybe return him like 120k is not good for him.

Update: Hairfin still exists in 2023, is doing pretty well even now. The sales have grown significantly, he's introduced a couple more variants for 19.99$ and 24.99$. Their current estimated Networth is around 700k $ as of 2023 April. He's going along well, And Tony is still invested in the business.

It was 30k, that’s such a little amount of money. He came in asking for a little and Damon kind of took advantage of that, glad they made a deal tho.

It was a reasonable valuation, A business bringing 41K$ sales per year should be worth a bit more than 125K$ . Kevin seems to like people that offers modest valuations at the beginning.

He called himself awkward but he didn't seem awkward to me. Seemed like a really cool guy, a good friend type of guy.

Barbara was actually set to be on this show but with just minutes to spare before the show starting taping she said she was out.
Favorite episode by far. Dude had nothing to lose, super chill, already retired, he seems like the coolest guy ever. Someone had to invest in Hairfin, if not for the money than to surround themselves with those good vibes.

I’m really surprised Lori didn’t scoop this one up. It’s a solid enough product albeit quite niche. She said “what do I have to lose?” when it was 10k for 20% of Handy Pan, and their margins and total sales were way lower than this. Add to that he’s retired already, so you know that he doesn’t have any distractions and is clearly passionate. He’s the epitome of an entrepreneur who just needs a little shark marketing know how and manufacturing connections, and will then be a low maintenance partner. I think he probably shouldn’t have negotiated with Daymond so much, but you can tell he really thought he would get Lori for such a fair valuation.

Product is practical and cheap. A lot of people are into cost cutting and self haircuts are atop of that list.

Super smart and genuine guy.. Seems like he is an introvert, which actually explains why he is so smart. Good on him for presenting his pitch, because I could feel the awkwardness but he was brave enough to it.

This one has me on edge. So many people living off grid lifestyles could benefit from the product. Van life, cabin life, travelers of the world for a quick cut. But, I live in Indiana and a haircut is 15$ so why wouldn’t I support the small business to cut my hair?
