Working for Barbara must be the must depressing thing ever. I poke fun at her for never giving good reasons to always say "I'm out", but always assumed she was kinda "fun". Apparently I was very wrong
I didn't. I knew she was a bitch from when she tore into the girl who created "Wanna date?" accusing her of being a spoiled brat who had everything handed to her. She even said the girl was going to fail because she didn't HAVE to make it, her back wasn't against the wall. Barbara did it only because the girl wasn't going to go homeless if her business failed. The girl made it clear she worked hard and didn't have anything handed to her. Also Mark gave Barbara the best comeback in my opinion, in such a subtle manner. He said "I disagree with Barbara, because if that were true none of our kids would ever be successful." or something against those lines. Anyways, after that episode I just cannot like Barbara at all.
This video not only just sold me on this product, but it changed my life. My new goal in life is to get a job working for Barbara in one of her perfect offices, buy a shitload of these, put them on every surface I can, and prop framed pictures of her family on them.
The price is too high, and Lori's right about consumers who buy a product without thinking when the price is at $99.99, as opposed to over $100.00, and once people see the price costs over $99. the average buyer won't pay. I like their product, and it can be used for many other reasons than an office desk.
@@nicolepretorius1178 Shelving like this already exists, the point of the device is its strength for things like laptops and it can get there through expensive materials. If it's advertised as shelving, there's already like 6 million alternatives.
Totally agree. $250 is absolutely wild for this product. But they think it's reasonable because they are marketing it as a desk rather than a shelf, and targeting primarily commercial applications. But the real market is consumers who want shelves on their floor to ceiling windows, or in their bathrooms, etc. And for that market it needs to be under 100.

I do agree the price point needs to come down to $99 as one of the sharks stated and they will sell lots of them. I see it as an accessory but not a main desk. People will not want to pay $250+ but $99 is very appealing for what you get.
What you get is expensive, it's basically industrial strength suction, there's no way they can get it to $99 without turning it into crap that will eventually crashes on your feet.
All else being equal I would probably take the offer from Lori. People severely underestimate how much difference a highly motivated business partner will make. If she is equal partner she will want to put down the effort. It's a 10% difference in ownership for a 50% increase of motivation from the person that will most likely pull the largest weight.
Exactly correct, He centered his feet on each one as well, evenly distributing the forces. I can see people leaning on this over time and causing injuries. Its $265 for a shelf, this is for people who do not want to set up shelves with tools or want to put holes in their walls.
Kevin really spoke to them quite a bit after the pitch. I dont think he cares about the product i think he wants to hire these two in his personal companies.
I am more surprised at people's linear thinking. Those 13% would bring onboard someone that is most likely twice as motivated to get things to work. The thing wrong about kevin is he just says the blunt truth . Other than that he obviously is also an experienced man . He just need to sweeten his words so the others think that he is gonna put actual work to the business .
And that right there is the problem with you participation trophy snowflakes
They need to do way better on pricing. I saw the product and thought hmmm maybe id pay 40 to 50 for that, it could never be a oermanent desk. ... and then the best they can get to is 40ish landed? That means they will always need to price wayyy too high for people to consider buying it.
Too distracting at the windows. You need an area where you can focus on your work.
This is just a floating bookshelf lol but it’s honestly a unique take on a desk
It’s more like “shelf-view”
Cool idea fs but you can find an adjustable desk way bigger for $200-400
I really like the pitcher's outfits
Barbara: "staff will use this desk to put photos of their family on it and for that reason, i'm out"
Add drawers and USB plug in capability with a rechargeable battery. Cut me a check if you use it. 😊
