Very friendly guy and transparent, which means everything to the Sharks. They were really cool with him too. Good dude, hope his company is doing well, which by the looks of it, it is. Good for him! And his "I'm out" was absolutely legendary. I don't know if anyone else on the show has ever done that before, but his lead-up was perfect and caught Robert by total surprise. It worked out great too because he cracked everybody up instead of turning down the deal and making it quiet and awkward like everyone else does on this show. Broke all the tension and gave him confidence to counter Damon's offer (even though it didn't end up working). That was very solid.
That was probably the sharkiest I've ever seen Robert. I feel he was leveraging Hans' "back against the wall" position to throw in that egregious deal.
Honestly it was not that bad of a deal, it had a similar value, 370K at 60%, and Robert would not control the equity, because he offered to give his equity to the new partner. So it would have likely been 40% for Hans and a 30% split for Robert and new person
@@youarein1ov3But because Robert is being someone in, the new person will likely agree with Robert on a lot of things. In effect, Robert would still have that 60% of control.
