Why I Hated Living in the Philippines as Filipino

Why I hated living in the Philippines as Filipino is a question that is not right. How can we hate our country where we born from? But that feeling of uneasiness grows even more especially I learned how other culture works for me. Japanese culture is not perfect. But the culture works for me so much. One most factor why I hate living in the Philippines is the bureacracy and unjust practices of ...

I agree that you need a taller ladder to do your work. If you fell, there would be nobody to take care of you. You were wobbly on that top step. Not good! Be safe, not sorry as the saying goes. Nice job securing your privacy. When does your husband get out of the hospital?

Today. I have to travel 3 hours by car driving myself going to the hospital. I find UA-cam very comforting because of this interaction with loyal viewers. Thank you, Ms. Gabrielle. Xxx

Wonderful job...I'm slightly older than you and, since retiring, I find myself enjoying the responsibilities of fixing whatever I can. The hardware store is now one of my favorite destinations. I would recommend getting one more ladder (a taller one) for safety purposes, I learned recently one should never stand on the top rung of any ladder. Safety first. I am a Filipina in my early 30s and I have been married to a Japanese man also in his 30s for 6yrs and counting. I sort of shared these issues at first but what we did to each of our families is impose strict boundaries and let us live our lives. No monetary help, no "libre" to relatives especially to my family. It cost me some relationships with relatives but it is for the best in the long run. My in laws were concerned at first but it was eventually disproven as I live already well in the PH, as I inherited a house and lot from my parents and already have my own vehicles. We tried living in Japan but we chose to move back to the PH after we deliberately calculated how far our salaries will go with our money. I am fortunate enough to have a well paying job as an IT professional and he, an interpreter in the PH. For now we settle here but nothing is absolute because we might want to live in another country again in the future. What's important is both of us have shared values and life plans. He is my best friend and I'm forever grateful at that.
