    Hi Grace. Thank you for sharing your life on YT so we can experience another life besides our own through you. I think it’s safe to say that I speak for everyone who watches your videos that we appreciate your time and effort you put in to film, edit and post your videos, not to mention your willingness to share your and your husbands life. I couldn’t open myself to it but I appreciate those who do. Take care.

      I'm sharing the appropriate events of our life which are relatable to anyone. I've so much "facts" in me right now (work-related) that I could never ever disclose to others even to my family. So sharing about our most basic daily life activities eases my nerves. You're one of the angel-like viewers that eases my tensed self. Thank you so much.

      You’re welcome Grace. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. I find your videos “comforting”, although I’m not sure that’s the right word to describe it, that there are caring people like you in this crazy world we live in now. Here in Hawaii, we have a large population of Filipinos (along with Japanese (me,I’m third generation here), Chinese, Portuguese, and Koreans that immigrated in the late 1800’s to work in the sugarcane fields) and it’s well known Filipinos are family oriented and good caregivers to their family and loved ones. Having said that, maybe to correct term to describe your videos is “refreshing”. I could ramble on forever so I’ll end by saying, “Thank you.”

      @@Lifesaver-o9e , thank you so much for these kind words. It was intimidating to start a channel but with my pure intention, I'm reaping the positive outcome of by courage for sharing our life, my weaknesses and struggles online. I'm scared of so much attention so it is fine with me for having a slow growth channel. A few kind and sincere viewers like yourself is a huge growth already. Thank you so much.

Nakaka-inggit.

    Love to cook potatoes and bacon, onions together and throw an egg on top with some toast on the side and that is an American breakfast. 😮 My favorite foods are breakfast foods. Learning to eat salads like I see on Japanese food videos. Enjoy your daily life as caregiver working full time and still can share on You Tube, thank you❤

    I'm pleased to hear that your husband has been doing good these days Grace. I pray that his health continues to do well.
    It seems that having your jobs and just getting out into city senories in your city really gives you a mental uplift. I enjoy seeing you like this 😃❤ And it's always peaceful to see how you are therapeuticly enjoying your plants while teaching your viewers as well.

      Hello, Joenell, my husband has no pain and irritation lately but his movement is very limited. He is like a wooden pinocchio. If I push him, not strong and just soft push, he will fall straight away. His balance is the problem maybe because of his sight issues.. One viewer assumed that I am helping him put his pants for the sake of video, no. But he feels no pain recently. Thank you for visiting me today. Take care always.

    Dear Grace, what a beautiful person you are and your husband as well. Let him know that the positive impact you mention at the end of the video goes beyond what you probably think. I feel less lonely and less orphan since I found your channel. I feel like I can learn valuable life lessons from your wisdom. And I can learn to cook delicious food that my little son loves. Thank you so so much for sharing pieces of your life and your wisdom and feelings with us. Hugs from Spain, Ada

      Good morning, from us here in Japan. I mentioned your comment to my husband before he left going to the Day Service. He said, 'it's great'. I was thinking that it was only me getting comfort through sharing our life. We're glad that there are viewers getting comfort and peace from it. Thank you so much.

    Hello Grace, i find it both strange and comforting that we cook the same dish , onions potatoes and bacon . Sometimes I add a little dry white wine . But I don’t add soy sauce . I bought my very first bottle of soy sauce recently and I’m not adventurous with it ....and the next avocado I buy I’ll try to grow the pit because I saw yours . Have a good evening 😊

    • @livingwithgraceinjapan

      Thank you, Marie. It's nice to know that we're like having the same dish together. In Japan, early Autumn is the harvest season for potatoes that's why there are plenty in the market. Thank you, Marie, for lettig me know about trying to grow avocado pit. That's nice.

    Hello my dear, a very nice video! The music is on point! Your home full of plants looks so cozy. I cook that dish a lot in recent times ^.^. It is easy and so yummi!

      Thank you so much for acknowledging my choice of music. I love classical and soft music. My husband turns on his radio 24 hrs a day and that adds to my stress. So I bought him a huge headphone to use to listening on his radio. Blind people finds happiness through sounds only. But he can turn it on though but no so loud. I prefer silence... literally. At first I did not know why I was so stressed. I realized it was the loud radio all over the house.

    Hi Grace thanks for the video hope you are both well. I was surprised to see how quiet the roads were at 8.30am, at that time here in England it is school run time and if you don't have children like us it's best to avoid certain routes at that time. Look after yourself and best wishes from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

      Thank you, Peter. Yesterday, I removed myself from a very stressful case ( discreet job-related matters ) because I couldn't sleep well since we started this particular case. I'll still work but not this one anymore.
      Now I feel how I find comfort and fulfillment when I film what I do, edit them and share to my viewers.

    Hi Grace. Happy belated Thanksgiving! I thought today (for you, it’s day before for me) was Thanksgiving but I just found out Japan celebrates Thanksgiving on the 23rd. Oops!
    Wishing you and your husband happy holidays! Take care!

      @livingwithgraceinjapan  Місяць тому

      Thank you so much. In Japan, I did not ever celebrated Thanksgiving. But everyday is something to celebrate for. Glad to have your comment today. Thank you so much.

    • @Lifesaver-o9e
      @Lifesaver-o9e Місяць тому

      Yes, everyday is a day to celebrate. When I was in my twenties I took life for granted and thought I’d live forever. Getting old was so far in the distance it wasn’t something I thought about. After all, I have lots of time to get married and have kids. Well, somewhere along the road the rules changed. WHAT?! We really don’t live forever? I’m not immortal?! Hmmmm….. Personally, I’m not exactly thrilled by that rule change and reality check. Where did the years go? I only wanted my work years to go by fast so I could retire, not my life years! Now at my age, I appreciate everyday because tomorrow is not guaranteed. For everyone out there, live your life so you have no regrets later…..but don’t be foolish!

      Thank you so much. It was a nice comment. Thank you for sharing about yourself. This is the beauty of having a channel. I have so much to say and share especially this moment that I am feeling very very lonely. Thank you, Ms. Lifesaver.

      @@livingwithgraceinjapan Hahaha! Make that a Mr. Yes, I know, when I said have kids it does sound like I’m a woman. I just thought by the time I’m in my thirties I would have found the right woman, get married, and start a family since that’s the norm. I took time for granted and I missed the boat. Oh well, I made my choices and now have to live with it. Such is life.
