    Hi Grace thanks for the video the food looks great. I don't think that the comment made about hiring or marrying a Philipino was very nice. We marry for love as you did, my own wife has no sight. Best wishes from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

      I was thinking the same thing, because here in Norway many old men have married from Filipine with this kind of thoughts. They started in the 90’s and now many young men also marry from there, but as Grace said because they recognised their talent to be like we usually say “ old fashioned housewives”. But they really are great and I’m glad to learn more from them. And after her answer to that comment I’m not so angry to all this nordmen who bring wife from Filipine 🇵🇭 😁

    Beautiful, tasty, real food. It's good to work with a budget, it makes you mindful of what you cook and of using leftovers. No waste!

      We live 3 mins. walk from two big supermarkets selling fresh goods so I do not have to drive a car anymore. I do not have to stock in my fridge. I wanted to make a video about "budgeting or anything about how we deal with finances" but avoiding to share any infos about our income because it will trigger those scammers to find me where we are. About that nasty comment about marrying a Filipina, is not new to me. I have seen a lot of those kind on other channels. Only this time, I was the target. He commented. He was intrigued and that I am considering it a positive although I felt annoyed a bit.

    Thanks for your work to make this video 😊🙏🏻. From what I’ve seen, in Japan food it’s much cheaper than I thought and much cheaper than in Norway. I have been in Japan this year in February and all my friends were asking about the price. Here in Norway they were saying that Japan it’s very expensive or something similar to our country. I found that it is cheaper from my experience and what I have seen. But how is for locals it’s depends on what their income is.
    Is it food cheaper in big cities or small villages?

    • @livingwithgraceinjapan
      @livingwithgraceinjapan  26 днів тому +1

      Japan became cheaper for the past few years because of the value of yen has gotten lower than it was 20 or 30 years ago. I myself find it cheaper these days so I challenged to share a video which will make the viewers compare the prices of their country versus Japan's. I live at the center of one big city here in Kanto region and the prices were the ones I shared on the video. I would say Japan is becoming cheaper but the quality of everything, service and commodities have not changed. Japan still offer the best quality of everything.

      Try mo ang parsely- Italian parsely puwede na siguro. Herb din kasi at aromatic. Yang green perilla or ao-ziso ay isang herb at sa tingin ko, kung may seeds lang ay madaling mabuhay sa atin. Kasi nasa kainitan ng Summer yan at marami ako sa yard right now. Pwede ang parsely. But do not over-cook kasi mas better ang raw nga ng parsely. Are you a girl or a boy? Do you mind if I ask?
