Cyndi, you're a person with a good heart. This is the beauty of making a channel because I'm meeting wonderful strangers who are saving me from being stuck. Thank you!!
@@livingwithgraceinjapan Thank you for taking the time to answer all the comments on your videos. You are an inspiration to me because I am also living with a disability and I know how hard it is to be a caretaker. God bless you!💗
Yes, your hubby is extremely fortunate to have someone who can do all that you do, I hope that he fully appreciates you. A beautiful woman with a beautiful soul xx
Hello, Maude... thank you. Sometimes he is not appreciative and difficult and that I makes me silent for a while but the best thing is that he will realize and express regret towards a certain situation. There are issues here in Japan for people who are tired of taking care of their loved ones. I can't blame them. And I understand the struggles of their disabled families, too. In my case, I am healthy and mentally active. I find outlets to release stress so I remain soft and caring to my husband. That is the reason why I speak a lot about health and life. Thank you, Maude.
Hello Grace! I cannot believe you thought that way about yourself! 😮😢 I never think about my age really but I know I’m not young hahahaha. I am doing what you said…looking at clothes I have that I never wore. My mother was so concerned that I would wear the same old clothes that she bought me a lot of new clothes but I didn’t use any of them. After I watched your videos I realized I should do better for myself even if I didn’t feel like it…it does help the mind get out of a rut I think I stumbled into. I love how you set up the home and change the scenery with the coming season and the yard looks like someplace you could sit and enjoy time outside. Thank you for sharing with us-it helps lift my spirits and I hope we feed you great healing energy too! Till next time, oyasuminasai ❤
Hello, Francine! I enjoyed reading your comment. Let us be stylish! 🙂I have a story. Before I decided to spend time making videos, I was told "old" for the position that I have been considering my expertise. Japanese corporate top brasses consider my age, "old". Have a nice day ahead in Hawaii! 🙂
I’m so glad I found your channel. You inspire me. Determined and always doing something interesting. All the best to your husband on his road to better health. You take good care of him.❤😊
Thank you, Pearl. It is so nice meeting you here also! The heat of Summer is stopping me from doing more that is why I look forward to the cooler season, Autumn. I hope to see you here again!
Hello, Mary! 🙂Thank you so much!!! I was thinking that once I opened myself to the world, comments from bashers, haters will roll like a long tape on my comment section. But what is happening is the opposite. There are kind and sincere people in the world which I should not be afraid of. Thank you, Mary, for coming back again.
You are beautiful inside and out! I like your channel, so inspiring and continue what you think is best for you and your husband. Take care and God be with you.
Hello Grace , the thing with compost is to put it as far from the house as possible in case rats find it . I don't like Autum , here it means rain and rain and more rain , but we still have about 2 weeks of Summer. Also we won't find plenty of delicious fruit and vegetables until next year . Oh well , let's hope Winter is not too cold . 😊
Hello, Marie! Yes! I was sure that a viewer who has knowledge about composting will make comment about its process. Thank you! And that is why I am checking it from time to time but the good thing is that I have not seen rats here in Japan yet. But I'm not sure! So I keep checking on it which makes me occupy and a good thing for me.
Preparing your bedding for colder season reminds me when i was living in Seattle . Now retired , my husband and I moved to the tropics 6 years ago. I enjoy watching your videos .
How beautiful are the Autome colors you've added to the inside of the house. It brings such a bright and warm look to the atmosphere. 🍁🍂🍁 You're so right about life being short. I'm learning to make more time to do the things that makes me happy for that reason. That of course includes spending time with my children and grandchild as often as possible. But to also make time for myself even in small matters. I hope that you keep finding joy in your UA-cam journey for as long as you intend to keep posting videos. 😍🌱🍁
@livingwithgraceinjapan Oh, you're so welcome Grace. Yes , I have two daughters and one seven year old granddaughter who will eight in October. I see that you also have a granddaughter as well . She's so beautiful and adorable. You to see her and your daughter in more of your upcoming videos. 😍
Let me tell you something, young lady😉: you are neither old nor ugly, ever. You are made of good stock and even great substances! Like me; we are just struggling 🐛 caterpillars trying to break free and become butterflies. Yes, it harder to take care of a loved one than it’s a stranger. I did it twice in my life… with my parents (there were many time they were unappreciative but before they passed, they told me I was the only one who truly loved them); I don’t know if I want to ever do it again, especially in my mid-fifties. So dear, don’t ever put yourself down cause God knows you are doing your damned best. Pat yourself on your back for everyday you get up and for all you have accomplished. Again the clothes you have gotten on a budget are fantastic (this is coming from a Disabled Naval veteran, living on a budget, also) and I wish I could find lovely clothes like that. Thank you for sharing your video vlogs and parts of your life with us all.🌹Have a lovely weekend.😊
Oh, my God. Tine! What a lovely message you have given me on this comment. I felt something warm flowing from my eyes. Thank you so much. I believe this is the most wonderful thing that is happening to me for opening up myself to the world. I am glad to meet you, Tine. How are you and your disability condition? I hope you are well. Yes, I will have a lovely weekend. Thank you so much.
@@livingwithgraceinjapan oh dear Lady, I will always have my disabilities from my time in the Navy. But as long as I draw breath, and God allows me to get up every day, then I consider it another good day. When I have good people (like you) coming into my life being as human as you are, then I don’t consider myself truly disabled or alone. You don’t realize it, but your soul is a bright light to many out there. Have a wonderful wonderful night or in Japan a wonderful day..❤🥰

Hello, Ruth! Ang daming "likes" and love ang nasabi mo. Thank you so much. I am very attentive and observant person so I read my viewers comment from the heart. I am a super sensitive person, in a good way, and super introvert, too. I do not like posting on social media for the past few years because I find a lot of fakeness there thus, by keeping an account alone exhausts me so much. But You Tube is a lot more authentic . Sure! Friend!
Hi Grace you are not ugly or old wish I was as smart as you 😊I also love earth colours their my favourite colours I’m praying for a new home move with a small backyard garden I’m going to be very intentional about the colours perhaps I can ask you for advice on earth colour schemes if you don’t mind thank you for your video 🌻🌾🌱
Of course, I will give my thoughts and opinions about colours, Margaret. I love home arrangement especially if I have to start from scratch and that is why I prefer old homes than the new modern types that younger people prefer. I feel ugly when I look at the mirror tired and burnt out. Thank you for telling I am not ugly. I will do my best to rest and reward myself good sleep, longer soaking in a bath... even if the house is a bit cluttered. I have this intensed cleaning habit.
