You never seen it replicated because gatekeepers won't allow it. I am sure there are stories that were pitched that is probably ten times better than Walking Dead, but without any connections, these stories and ideas are either casted aside or straight up stolen. Never seen it replicated....If you haven't noticed, we get the same stories told to us in a little bit of a different way, which is why all these mainstream shows usually have something that'll remind you of something else. Yes! It was so grounded in a much more diverse World than the standard fare. Morgan was a terrible addition and I feel sorry for the actor because the writers did a terrible job of writing episodes that were watchable. The death of interesting characters like Nick & Travis left us with nothing to watch... apart from John Dorie! I liked him so... killing him too makes this series a meh, from me 🙄

tyreese was aloof especially when it came to Judith, TWO times he let that baby unsupervised, once with two kids then the terminus folk, SORRY I don't like idiots. I wished he died sooner.

Hershel actually did cause the death of someone (Sean) in the group that Randall was from, by shooting him somewhere in the torso, before walkers took care of the rest.

I thought the first couple seasons were ok. Oh well.

Fear (1-3) had potential to be as good if not better than the main show. If they overlapped Nick and Maddison with the main show (whisperers arc) it could’ve been the best show of all time.

I think the dream scenes from being the saviors should have been the end. Carl is dead, rick rebuilds the communities and faith within people and it shows. Even Negan is helping and playing with Jude. Perfect place. You can rewatch the entire series and stop with beating the saviors, pickup again at season 9.6 or whenever the new folks like Kelly and Connie show up and be completely up to it. So many filler episodes were junk and left us nothing not even a clue.

I stopped watching the Daryl show season 2, episode 2 I can’t watch it anymore but I seen all of original TWD, Fear TWD and TWD dead city I only saw 2 episodes of the ones who lives

I simply look at the walking dead as 2 separate shows. Season 1 to season 5 episode 11. Then episode 12 to the end. That's the perfect cut off point which allows closure to the story that was. Everything after that is a sequel to me

They were definitely on crack when they made Season 8. What were they thinking? Season 8 was when I stopped watching. Killing off Carl was so stupid.

Im one of those people who absolutely thinks Wrath should have been the final episode. And agree whole heartedly it would have made certain producer decisions like Carls death largely forgivable. The show, for all intents and purposes, was Ricks story. Didnt need to go beyond that. Or if it did, gamble on a series that is completely seperated from the main show and explore other ideas, dynamics and locations. Like Fear was until it wasn't

I just recently finished the walking dead a couple days ago and my opinion is that the walking dead should’ve ended with Rick blowing up the bridge. Rick should’ve died on the bridge as he says “I’ve found them” or something like that. It would nicely wrap up Rick’s story of him finding his family.

This was AMC fault and the writers 😒 Law and Order, NCIS,FBI, Chicago all have spin offs that there writer's didn't F up their shows.

In my opinion the main series should have ended after 6x9. It would have been better to make a spin-off of Negan, from the start of the apocalypse to the Sanctuary.

Carol should have been allowed to kill Alpha instead of Negan.

If Rick died in season 9 and that was the end he would have died as a hero

7:45 it's at this point in the video where i feel like you lose sight of the franchise and the significance of timing. Every story starts somewhere. TWD and Rick's story of survival began in 2003. World Beyond was 10 years into a TV adaptation's story. When watching the TV canon, keep in mind that you're not speaking to MCU or Star Wars fans. From Days Gone By until the final second we spend watching the canon on a screen, we're watching the spin off. There's a story beneath the one in continuation. Some of you TWD youtubers fail to see that

Great video bro! I personally loved the walking dead from beginning to end, sure the story’s weren’t as peak as earlier on, but I still enjoyed it soo much. It’s such a different show than others it’s crazy. Ending it at S8 would’ve been good but I’m greatful we got more, S9 Btw is really underrated.

The governor was worse in the comics. He SA's Mischone repeatedly, and he kisses his zombie-fied daughter with tongue. Then he gags and pulls away and says something along the lines of "Sorry, daddy will get used to it eventually". Makes me wonder if he did gross stuff to his kid before she was turned into a zombie and how far the governor went with her as a zombie. Was it just kissing, or did it escalate? I forget what happened to his wife but i wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if he killed her and started seeing his daughter as his "replacement" wife. I feel gross just typing this out.

I feel like twd universe has now turned into crazy fan fiction. I can picture random ppl just going to Gimple saying “make Daryl end up in France” “make Negan and Maggie go NY together even though they should not be allowed in the same room” “make Rick and Michonne fall in love once again and go back to their family” “let’s fuck up fear and add some of the worst characters in history. Let’s see just how much we can ruin it” I won’t even go there with Tales and WB. These writers are in no way capable and a bunch of children could write a better story.

world beyond is not that bad. I mean if you accept the fact that it is basically ran by teenagers who are supposedly as strong as prime Shane, then you might enjoy the story of Omaha. ps. i live in Omaha so I'm biased.

AMC did. Gonna get some hate here but i wish the walking dead stayed with Starz and i to believe they would have done a better job.

One thing I’ve always liked about Carl’s death, is in the 1st episode of season 4 ‘30 Days Without An Incident” after Rick comes back to the prison after dealing with Clara the woman in the woods, Hershel says what is a very important line in my opinion. That line is Rick says something along the lines of: “if I lost Carl, Judith, this place. I’d probably end up like her.” And Hershel responds “not even then, Rick.” So to me, that one line, perfectly set up Carl’s death later on, showing that Rick could overcome even the worst thing that could possibly happen to him. That’s why I think Carl’s death worked…but only if the show ended with season 8. It would have been very poetic if the show ended in season 8. But by it going on…by it going on without Rick AND Carl, Carl’s death doesn’t work and the show doesn’t work. The franchise has completely gone down hill unfortunately. The only thing I can think of saving it, is one last big collab show, where what Major General guy from The Ones Who Live said about the “human civilization only has 14 years left on this earth, due to lack of resources” actually being true, and everyone on earth completely unites and solves a way around that, ending the walkers completely.
